This place popped up with great reviews and some pictures that showcased delicious looking dishes and pastries so we decided to go. As a tourist, I could definitely see how the neighborhood is definitely something that might draw people from visiting, but good food is often found in unknown places. Pros: the gal who took our orders was super sweet and the cook that came out to deliver our food was also very pleasant. Overall, flavors and quality seemed to be good for the price. Cons: gal was very obviously stressed due to how she greeted us with a "I'm getting rid of most of the menu in order to simplify" and then literally told us that everything we came for was basically gone (cook/baker left). No chili, no fries, no desserts and she was out of one of the burgers. Also, the inside of this restaurant is obviously still questioning its identity because it was giving farm glam but things made no sense for its namesake (mirrors? Why so many TVs and little blackboards? Bougie paintings? House music? Farm animal home decor?) also...the women's bathroom was hella scary and had awful lighting yet the men's bathroom was well lit. Food: flavor was there, but some things just weren't - Parmesan fries just had like garlic salt on them? Both our taco meat was lukewarm and no cheese would melt. My fries supposedly had nacho cheese but came out with real cheese, which hey, better for me. Drinks were also blah - canned. It's just a preference but it's very limiting. I hope the menu isn't revamped to the point where their ratings keep declining, but to us, it was disappointing seeing such enticing photos and reviews to get lukewarm food and a very limited selection of foods. read more

First trip to Fat Jack's Grill and I'm impressed. Found it on Yelp and gave it a try on a late Saturday afternoon. There weren't a lot of people there but a few call in orders were placed while we dined. They had great music playing but not too loud and there's a large and smaller tv for watching the game while we eating. I got the burger which was very good and she got the fried catfish. It was delicious as well, though pieces were pretty small. We both had fries which I was more than pleased with. The tartar sauce was made in house also tasted good. The two of us ate for $24. Ain't nothin wrong with that! We'll certainly be back. read more

This place is a Hidden gem! Fish cooked perfectly, hot & fresh Fries were fries but the seasoning was good! I was expecting hand cut fries and to be offered or displayed options for desserts . This little diner is down home cookin, with a twist. I had a donut burger with parm garlic fries & let me just say they were amazing! This week they are giving a free red velvet or pineapple cupcake. Hidden in this sketchy strip mall is a mom and pop place serving tasty burgers and near perfect fries. The menu includes unique items like burger tacos, and eclectic inclusions like cotton candy and cup cakes, or enjoy a loaded baked potato. We tried a few of their more popular burgers. Burger patties are hand-formed, smashed and griddled. Donut Burger was drippy with grease, but I didn't mind since it had layer upon layer of flavor. Their Smash Burger Taco is a well executed and tasty concept. I had it with bacon and heavily griddled onions for only $6.99. It was the same drippy, greasy-spoon goodness, and super flavorful, just be sure to ask for extra special sauce. Their Old Fashioned Burger was a solid diner burger, all toppings super fresh, nice soft bun, the kiddos enjoyed them immensely. And on top of that, prices here are very fair. All burgers only $7-8, or combined with a side of crispy, fresh-cut fries for under $10. They even often hand out free desserts. You can't beat that. Dining room is definitely nothing special, super simple but clean, with a couple of flat screens on the walls with football on. Service is fast casual, order at the counter with the super friendly workers then sit anywhere. TIP: If you do visit, just ignore the barber shop patrons next door that glare menacingly at you across the parking lot. read more

I'm being gracious with 2 stars. We walked in to the sketchiest strip mall because that's usually where you find the best eats but not this time. Place smells like straight weed. Tried to order one of their specialty burgers but they didn't have the hot Cheeto burger or the mushroom Swiss so I ordered smash burger tacos. Pers. No fountain drinks, only cans. I'm trying to support small businesses but places like this make it extremely difficult. The food wasn't horrible but probably because I have the munchies now from next door. read more

As you may have read in other reviews, Fat Jacks is located in a strip mall. The restaurant was clean and the staff was excellent. I got the sriracha burger and fries. The burger was freshly cooked and tasty. It was not overly large but adequate. The fries were perfectly cooked. There are several dispensaries in the strip mall so there is an odor of pot everywhere. read more

Came for the weekend and right off the plane we were ready to find a place unique to Oklahoma! I googled and found this place! Let me say off rip it did not disappoint!! From the time we walked in we were greeted and welcomed. The place was nice and clean. Our waiter handled our table of 15! We tried EVERYTHING!! The burgers, wings (that bourbon peach bbq and jack buffalo sauces AMAZING!!), fresh cut fries, and fish was HOT & FRESH!!! Definitely worth checking out and you will not be disappointed!! Stopped in on a whim and glad I did. The burger was great. I ordered the old fashion without tomatoes and it came out as ordered. The fries and onion rings were delish as well. I was meeting a friend for lunch and he needed to meet close to his work. I found this restaurant from a search and sent a link to my friend. Neither of us had been there before but it looked worth a try. When we arrived, there were several people there but not crowded. We proceeded to the counter to order and the person at the counter was friendly and immediately took our order. We visited while waiting on our food. And waited as we noticed tables that were there before us had no food. One person had to leave before he got his order as it was taking so long. We couldn't believe it was taking so long for 2 hamburgers and onion rings/fries. After an hour (can't believe we stayed but we were enjoying the conversation), we told them we had to get back to work, They said it was about ready but we could get a refund or take it to go. We unfortunately took it to go. The burger was edible at best. The onion rings were overcooked and greasier than most(only ate one). I hate giving a small newer restaurant a poor review but the only good thing was the nice person running the counter. New restaurant alert! Pete and I had errands to run this morning and decided to try the new Fat Jack's Grill at the corner of Southeast 44th and Sunny Lane, not knowing exactly what to expect since they've only been open a little over 2 weeks, we found ourselves in an out of the way (for us) GEM! Ever since City Bites left our area, it's very very hard to find a loaded baked potato in the Midwest City Del City area. I noticed on Facebook that Fat Jack's had a loaded potato and Pete and I both love loaded potatoes! This is a small family-owned restaurant, a very unique menu and super friendly staff, and even the prices are very good! Pete and I both got a loaded baked potato and now Fat Jack's is going to be on our rotation for lunches! On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I give Fat Jacks six stars! Super tasty, the potatoes were cooked perfectly, and all the ingredients were fresh! So the next time you're looking for a loaded baked potato, try Fat Jack's! By the way, if you love cotton candy like I do, they are one of only a few places you can buy freshly made cotton candy on a paper stick! I didn't get it this time but I certainly will the next time! I almost walked out before I ordered anything. When I walked in I couldn't smell any good food cooking, only weed. When I got to the counter some random people came out of the kitchen area. None of them looked like they were prepared to cook anything. Two of them sat down in the previously empty dining room. The prices they have on the menu aren't the actual prices.
