I love this place, fast food but not really is what I call it. I've eaten here at least 3-4times and have yet to have anything I didn't enjoy. The menu is simple but diverse, the building is quaint with plenty of space, convenient clean restrooms along with a great waitstaff.May I add the prices aren't bad either,in a time where it seems everyone wants the lion's share of your money, this place seems to place emphasis on having you come back and not only do I appreciate that,I will. read more

The Brown Bag - Crunchy tacos. - Burgers Near Me - Norman, Oklahoma

Not too bad is the best way to describe the food. Southwest Avocado Burger- Pros: Very cheesy, burger patty was soft, fresh, and tender. Cons: All other toppings were mediocre. Fries- Unique cute and decent taste. Onion Rings- Pros: The actual onions were perfect sizes and perfect texture. You could actually bite them without the entire onion coming out with it. Cons: Very salty and the seasoning was not spread out well. We did not finish them. Mozzarella sticks- Good, but tasted a little cheap and like they were made from frozen. The marinara sauce was not great. Looks like the sauce separated in the packet. Nice clean restaurant but small. I would come back for a plain cheeseburger or to try their chicken. Overall, besides the burger patty, the food was not quite worth what we paid. read more

Excellent burgers! Friendly, fast, and good prices. Very nice option just off the highway.

I've eaten here twice. It's not bad. It's also not amazing. It's slightly higher quality than most fast food restaurants and there is a drive thru which is convenient. Staff is pretty nice. The dining area is rather small. The first time I came, I ordered a burger. It was fine. I didn't get a specialty one so I don't feel right commenting too much. This time I wanted to try their tacos. I got the chicken avocado tacos which have a lot of chipotle ranch and cheddar cheese so it's kind of hard to taste the avocado. It also came with bacon which I would have rather not have, but it's not bad. I would order without next time. I will say their fries are the BOMB. They are seasoned nicely and fully cooked so they crunch when you bite into them. They go great with the honey mustard dressing. read more

Really great burgers here!! The girl cashier was super friendly and was patient with us first timers to the Brown Bag. Got just the basic burger and it was great. Bun was soft ,burger had lots of flavor and the toppings were fresh. Also got some tacos which were equally good and packed with flavor. Awesome lunch spot will recommend to anyone. read more

I had an onion burger, corndog, and fries, which were all decent but nothing to write home about. The young man at the register was absolutely fantastic though, and definitely made the visit worthwhile. read more

Quick, affordable and tasty! We needed to feed a big group and everyone was happy with what they ordered. Crispy tater tots!

The food is made to order, the new fries are amazing. I have had the Caesar burger a few times and it's always fresh never overloaded with dressing. I personally like the onion rings. I really need try other things but the burgers are just so good! read more

This is a nice little gem with good, fresh food. It's almost high-grade fast food and the prices are excellent. The menu is basically tacos, chicken tenders and burgers and they've perfected the process. In out three trips, we've not spent more than $20 as a couple and we've not been disappointed in the food at. Highly recommended. read more

Seems like a very local neighborhood place. My burger and fries were both very tasty. My order was very prompt and fresh! It's sort of a walk-up place but you can go and sit down inside. Looking for fancy-not your place. Looking for delicious food-it's your place. read more

Hot, fresh food! Great service. Definitely want to come back and try their burgers. Everything was delicious!!

Food was really good and staff as nice. Chicken strips and onion rings were homemade which I loved. Good onion rings too. Just like Johnnies charcoal oven but reasonably priced. read more

Absolutely the best, freshest burger I have ever had. Crinkle fries were good, but a little too much salt for me. read more

I eat here at least 3 times a week. There is always such great service and everyone is so nice. The food is amazing and it is cooked fresh. It is always so clean inside. The employees do a wonderful job at wiping tables and sweeping. Karen is very nice. read more

Overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered 3 chickens tenders combo. It was almost $11 for 3 small tenders (they tasted ok), the fries were good. The drink was small and mostly full of ice. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and my food was ready quickly. way overpriced for what you get and the quality of the food. read more

Great food! Got the Bacon Burger with a side of fries, it was one of the best burgers around! The service was excellent, very polite, friendly and fast too. The restaurant had a really cool look to it and some great seats. read more

Found this gem on the way home to Texas....wow! Quite possibly the BEST cheeseburger ever! Cooked perfectly with the right amount of cheese onions and pickles, so delicious! The staff was polite and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The only complaint? There is no location in Texas! read more

Very good burger and onion rings! Tacos were a hit, but I wouldn't get the chips and salsa. The salsa had no flavor tasted like crushed tomatoes only. read more

This is a great little place. We had the chicken and avocado tacos. Excellent. Great service. Certainly plan to come back and try a burger.

Excellent eatery that has just opened up on West Robinson. I went to The Brown Bag for supper today. It was an amazing experience. I was very warmly greeted by Kennedy and she took my order. I ordered their Avocado Chicken Taco and it was to die for and very reasonably priced. I sat in the restaurant and it reminded me of those warm small friendly places where you feel at home. The place was very busy and there were cars lined up to order. This should not be surprising as the whole concept is unique, the food is wonderful and reasonably priced AND the staff young, eager, proud and friendly. On my way out, Knight (what a unique name) introduced himself and Kennedy asked me to come back. I will definitely be frequenting this wonderful place a lot. If families are looking for a fresh experience, in a small setting, with excellent food and vibes, then The Brown Box is the place to eat - you will not be dissapointed. Baljit. read more

This is my new favorite burger spot. That burger was so delicious!! I ordered the diner. My only complaint about the burger is it's messy, I hate eating messy sandwiches, but that's a personal problem. The flavor made up for the messiness, so delicious!! The fries are nicely seasoned and very tasty. The onion rings aren't any good. They taste like flour and black pepper. They should be doing a good old fashioned battered onion ring, that would make more sense with the type of burgers they serve. I won't order the onion rings again but I'm crazy about the burgers and fries!! read more

The Brown Bag - Chicken Avocado Tacos w/ chips and salsa - Burgers Near Me - Norman, Oklahoma

Food always tastes delicious, fries are amazeballs, avocado tacos are my go to and never disappoint. If you love ranch, get the ranch! The overall price point doesn't break the bank and customer service is great. You will be waiting a while as they cook your food fresh with each order but I'd say it's completely worth it. I recommended this place to my brothers and they went and ate everything on the menu hahaha. Inside, the restaurant is clean and a nice place to hang out for a bit if you want to continue a good conversation, and during the nicer weather they have tables outside to chill. So happy this is up the street from us! read more

My wife and I just had the best burger we've had in years and it was at The Brown Bag in Norman. Melt in your mouth tenderness and flavor. Our side of onion rings was a perfect compliment to the cheeseburger. Whoever the cooks are they should be rewarded for excellent command of grills. My only negative is our takeout did not come in a brown bag but a slightly tan plastic one. We will be back for more! read more

The burger, tenders, and tacos are awesome. Onion rings are fresh and handmade. All four if our group were very happy with the food.

I really like The Brown Bag! I've never dined in and have only gotten food to-go. I think everything is cooked to order. The food always is hot and fresh. I often get the chicken tenders which are delicious and the breading is very tasty. I also often get the onion rings which I think are hand breaded and also very tasty! The service is always great when I go I've never had any issues or problems and staff is very friendly. I've never been inside but the outside of the building is always clean and the building is located right on the corner which is convenient. read more

Good home styles burgers with big fresh toasted buns. The fries are frozen bout seasoned well.

Truly stellar food, good sized portions. Excellent service. 10/10 recommend! The size of the crispy tacos puts other places to shame.

The burgers and onion rings are ADDICTIVE!! Service is great, we call our order in and it is ready when we arrive 10 minutes later. read more

Was passing through Norman during the lunch hour and was needing to replenish some nourishment so we decided to give this place a try. I ordered the cheese burger- I normally get a regular burger with all the veggies - and onion rings. The o-rings were good but the burger was awesome!!! My buddy ordered the regular hamburger and he said his burger was awesome as well. The service was good. It's not a very big place but there are a few seats if ya wanna stay to eat. They don't assign you a number for your order but instead use a name. Pretty clever, different and informative. That's all I'm gonna say without giving it away... Give 'em a try. read more

The food was pretty good. The service was quick and friendly. The seating area is pretty small, but they do call them selfs THE BROWN BAG, so maybe they mean for you to take it to go. read more

Rude workers and not very attentive Basic burgers and tenders, nothing special. Five Guys has a better burger read more

We ordered a basic cheeseburger with fries and a salad with grilled chicken. Fries were odd. Little to no taste. Salad was a basic garden salad as it says, but the chicken looked to be frozen and then heated up. No taste or seasonings. Very disappointing seeing as this restaurant is in the same restaurant group as pub w, Winston, Louie's, the garage, Neighborhood Jam, El Huevo, and Charlestons. Really has a lot of work to do or won't make it. read more

Burger was good. Onion rings were chewy, like they should've been left in the grease a little longer. Tacos and chips/salsa were horrible. Service, price, and cleanliness were fine. No toilet paper in restroom. Do not recommend. read more

Very good burgers. You can tell the Pattie's are hand pressed. Juicy, flavorful. I've the crinkle cut fries. Will continue to go back.
