There is nothing fancy about Geronimo's; in fact, apparently the inside is not open to customers now. Someone comes to your car to take your order, and it doesn't take long before he returns with your food. I give the food 5 stars - burger and onion rings were very good. I give the overall experience a 4 because service could have been friendlier, and I would rather be able to sit and eat inside. Also, it is called a bakery, but they didn't have any baked goods when we were there, and we weren't told if that meant they aren't serving them anymore or they were out for the day. We were just told they didn't have cookies or donuts or any desserts. It is definitely a place I would come back to, and it is helpful to know that you will need to take your food to go.

After we received our meal in a to-go bag, we headed outside to one of the picnic tables. It quickly became obvious that Just Burgers is really designed for takeout. On a pleasant spring or fall day, eating outside would be enjoyable. In the middle of an Oklahoma summer, it was less comfortable. We also experienced an unusual situation when my wife's container had an unexpected visitor--a cricket. Fortunately, the burger itself was still wrapped, so I didn't feel our food had been compromised. Rather than make a scene, I quietly spoke with the manager outside to let her know what had happened. My intent wasn't to complain or seek compensation, only to make her aware so it wouldn't happen again. However, this patty melt used sourdough bread, which I'm a fan of, but the bread-to-patty ratio was off. They used the same frozen 1/3-pound patties for every burger, resulting in a huge amount of bread, a frozen grilled patty, and every bite feeling greasy and dirty. (They say fresh daily patties... I'm not sure what that means, fresh cooked from frozen? Fresh frozen delivered? Fresh inspired...I just saw frozen pucks thrown on a grill so....) Perhaps my expectations were too high, but honestly, it's just a burger on thick sourdough labeled "Patty Melt."
