Wow this place is amazing! Way beyond my expectations. Food was so fresh and delicious. A lot of choices on the menu. We ordered four different dishes and it was tough to say which one is better than the rest. Staff is super nice and courteous. Very clean and cute ambiance We would definitely go back and this would be our new favorite brunch place read more

Simply outstanding. We have been greeted as we walked in. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. Decorated with taste, nothing much just simple and welcoming. Very clean restaurant. The waiter brought water and very shortly lentil soup. After few minutes we got the menu. It is breakfast/brunch place. You can go easy or just have a heavy brunch. The portions were very generous. The food looked great and tasted amazing. Turkish coffee was great. Lotus shake was very flavorful. Definitely will be back. For folks who eat Halal, all of their meats are halal. read more

Excellent Mediterranean breakfast! The ambience of the Rayoog Cafe made me feel like we been transported to Iraq. We shared the VIP platter amongst 4 people, which was a plethora of food and allowed us to try a bit of everything! Personally I loved the eggplant salad and the z'attar with olive oil. They make everything from scratch including the cheese and yoghurt, which you can tell by the taste; literally everything was incredible! The Turkish tea was phenomenal- perfectly spiced and delightful. We also had the baklava dessert with pistachios, ice cream, and Nutella. Ummm... delicious! Would absolutely come back here again, so happy to see a traditional style restaurant in the area. They definitely offer a better experience and brunch than any other place I've been to in the East Valley! read more

I saw this place on tik tok and knew I had to try it. We arrived around 10am and there was only 1 other table seated. Perfect timing because it became full fast. The experience was unique. Very clean and nice staff. Definitely recommend it. Parking was not an issue. A bit sad we weren't able to be seated outside as it was the perfect weather and their patio looks incredible but next time! read more

My friends and I went here for brunch and it was so worth my drive to the East Valley! The tea, phenomenal. The Turkish coffee, perfect. The food, so delicious and plentiful. The service was generous, warm, and friendly. Felt less like brunch out and more like a family feast. It's a cozy spot, but they quickly made room for my group of 9. read more

A beautiful presentation of yummy fresh food! This is a must-go to place for a Mediterranean brunch. Great for big groups. We got the Mam tray and it was perfect for the two of us. Lots of yummy small dishes and fresh bread. The lentil soup served right as you sit down is a wonderful touch that makes you feel at home right away. Service was friendly and quick. I love rayoog so so much. I love the ambiance, service & of course the food. I've never left disappointed. The pricing for the amount of food you get is phenomenal. This place just feels like home! Every time my family is in town we come to rayoog, this place brings back childhood memories since he is from Iraq. 10/10 recommend if you're open to trying middle eastern style breakfast. Today makes my 3rd time coming to Rayoog! The food is fantastic! The salad dressing should be bottled because it just that good! If you enjoy international cuisine and culture, you will enjoy this awesome alternative to the American style breakfast! This breakfast is definitely a great way to start your say! Had the exact same experience as some others here. Waited 40 minutes for a table, which we didn't mind since they were busy. But once seated, no one paid us any attention. Several others had their orders taken before us. After about 20 minutes we were able to flag someone down. We ordered the special mam. The waiter didn't explain anything despite our saying it was our first time there and ran away before one person at our table could order the coffee she wanted. After the tray was delivered, we realized we weren't given cups for tea and had to flag someone down for that. The food was good but we were using the bread like items or bread from cheese boats to dip and it wasn't until at the end when we saw at other tables, it was supposed to come with pita bread. When we asked about that we were given pita bread to go but no discount. I don't think we'll be coming back. read more

Pretty disappointed. We came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. We waited 40 minutes for a table (that's fine...I understand it's popular). But once we were seated no one came to take our order for 15+ minutes until we had to flag someone down. The waiter came up finally and was so rushed that he ran away before I could ask any questions or order coffee (so I didn't get it). We received our food and they ran away before we could ask questions about what was what or how to eat it. We got tea but realized we didn't get cups so we had to sit some more letting things get cold, having to flag someone down again to ask for cups. We tried to figure out the food, which was good, but when were done we realized they didn't give us bread to dip a lot of the food in until we saw our neighbors got bread after ordering the same thing as us. When we told our waiter about the missing bread, they just gave us dry bread to go and didn't offer any discount or anything. What am I to do with dry bread? Overall, pretty upset with my experience! read more

What a fantastic treasure! Tucked away in a strip mall just outside of Downtown Gilbert, this gem is a must visit. The ambience when you walk in is welcoming and staff were very friendly We were seated and served a delicious lentil soup and refreshing fruit infused water (which was really nice given it was a warm morning!) We enjoyed, and highly recommend, the Mam's Tray and Turkish coffee! Looking forward to returning and trying more from the menu! read more

Long wait, which is fine but the treatment from the employees made it worse. I've been here before and some servers are nice but the one we had on Mother's Day was so rude. He didn't speak to us at all, didn't tell us how long the wait was and end up being over an hour. He also served water to people who came 15-20 minutes after us before bringing us water. I love the food here but I'm disappointed and probably won't be back. read more

This place should be packed on a Saturday for brunch but it wasn't! Service was wonderful and quick. The food was so good! We ordered the special mam and it was honestly so much food more than our three adults and one toddler could eat! It's sprinkled lightly with powder sugar and a dispense of warm syrup was provided as well. Really good breakfast! Wife went with the 2 egg breakfast with bacon and sourdough toast. They serve a wonderful homemade blackberry jam with the toast, which was really good and jammy. She also had her eggs done the same way as me and they were cooked to perfection. The bacon was perfect and she commented about the hash browns being cooked to a crunchy outer and tender on the inside. I had the Shakshuka, and it didn't disappoint--flavorful and hearty. My wife enjoyed the Eggplant dish, though she mentioned she'd prefer more eggplant and fewer eggs (3 felt like a lot). Thank you Rayoog Cafe! I took my daughter and 8 yr old grandson (picky eater) for a Sunday brunch. Absolutely outstanding food. We had the Special Mam's. The tea and the food was delicious. My grandson loved the cheese boats and tried a few of the other food. He kept saying this is fancy good Yaya (me). We ordered Karak (Arabic tea milk with cardamom, on top of the Arabic tea that came with the Special Mam's and was in a fancy presentation...Excellent choice. I can't wait to go back to try the Baba Ghanoush and other trays. The service was excellent despite the place was very busy. The only downfall is there is no dinner hours. Had an appointment at the medical clinic 300 ft. away. Stopped in after the appt without knowing anything about this restaurant. What a find. Everything we ate was delicious and the service was so friendly. My new go to breakfast/brunch spot. Just don't come here looking for waffles or bacon and eggs. The food was over cooked. Ordered sunny side eggs but were more like boiled eggs. Avocado toast had 5 small, brown pieces of avocado and again, dry egg. Overall the food didn't taste good at all and they are over priced. Would never go there again. I've never had bad middle eastern breakfast until I tried this place. read more
