I had seen Rayoog Café on Yelp and thought, wow! I have never seen a brunch display like this - how cool! But I forgot to save it and plan to go so I didn't for a while. I happened to see some activity on Yelp recently and made it a priority to go that weekend! We decided to try the Mam's special because why not!? I didn't come all the way here to NOT try the most elaborate brunch display I've ever seen! A lot of other commenters note that this is way too much food for two people. I don't know if we just eat a lot or what but we finished everything except the.boats and bread (LOL!?) and we ordered coffee, juice and dessert on top. The staff were really nice and happy to answer questions that we had at our table and I saw at other tables. My only suggestion for improvement regarding the staff would be to stop by more often to check in on how things are going. Not sure if it's a cultural difference as I'm aware that industries eating is preferred in some countries/cultures but we were only approached once at the beginning to order, once when brought our food and we never saw anyone ever again. We had to ask for drinks, updates when some of the food didn't come out for a while,, for dessert, and for the bill. I really started to feel like I was bothering THEM :( The food was amazing! Everything was exceptional. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed about was that each small bowl in the Mam's wasn't exactly as represented in the picture on the menu but there was no disclaimer that selections may change due to availability, season, etc. Most of the food that was brought out was actually vegetarian, which was pretty cool, and most of the dishes with meat could easily be modified should somebody want to make it vegetarian. I will definitely be going back to Rayoog's café to try some of the dishes that were not included in the Mam's

A delicious experience. The food was amazing! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Though the restaurant was busy, the service was extremely fast. We sat outside and it was so lovely. Will definitely be back.

I've been wanting to try this spot for a long time and we finally came here one Saturday for brunch. Seems like we visited at a good time since it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit on the patio as it was beautiful weather outside. They had lovely Arabic instrumental music playing and it really set the vibes for our meal. I love to see an Arab restaurant doing well; this one is Iraqi and serves Turkish-style breakfast dishes. I had perused the menu earlier and their toast flight looked so appealing to me, so we ordered that along with a cheese boat and a small plate of falafel. The toast flight included six (6) pieces with toppings of: labne & zaatar, sunny side egg & avocado, scrambled eggs & tomatoes, boiled eggs & pesto, cream cheese & blueberry jam, and Nutella & strawberries. The sweet ones along with the sunny side up egg were my favorites! Such a nice variety of sweet and savory. I asked for salt & pepper because I am a salt fiend and that helped satisfy my cravings. The falafel did not hit the spot unfortunately, the inside was not cooked throughly. The cheese boat was okay, I would've preferred to try the zaatar or sausage one for more flavor. Our servers were friendly and attended to our needs by filling up our carafe of water and bringing us salt & pepper. There is a credit card fee so cash seems to be a better payment method. I do want to come back and try their Mam's tray with more people. I wish this spot much success!

The Pizza Salami Boat was amazing. It came out piping hot, fresh from the oven, and tasted incredible. I also loved the copper tea set and food display. It really made the whole place feel authentic. Friendly service

My mom and I had the pleasure of trying out this restaurant for the first time. I've seen the pictures online, but when we got there, it completely exceeded my expectations. The food selection was authentic. The presentation was amazing and the service was awesome. It was a nice location to enjoy brunch. The presentation of the food made it feel very special. I couldn't get over how amazing our breakfast was last week. We had gone for my friends birthday and she had been wanting to try Turkish coffee for quite some time. We decided to try the Mams tray and it came with so many great things to try. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only thing I'm not a big fan of which was great for my friend was the feta cheese def an acquired taste. I will eat all the olives and she had all the feta. I especially loved the cheese boats and can't wait to try the others next time along with the shashuka. The Turkish coffee had great flavor but the coffee grounds at the end of the cup are too thick for me. So def don't see myself repurchasing that next time. The tea was also super flavorful. There was no one else in on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which was awesome. Because we had a friend initially tell us you have to make a reservation. Which we def didn't need Monday morning. Was such a great experience can't wait to return.

I was disappointed with my recent visit to this establishment. The staff's unfriendly demeanor was notable. We sat for quite a while and no one came to take our order, we had to call someone over, also no one checked on us after getting our food, requiring me to request service from a woman to ask a question. The food was mediocre. We had to request our bill. Meanwhile, the staff in the back seemed to be joking and laughing about us. The establishment might consider posting a sign at the door regarding dress code and customer expectations. Staff seemed to judge my party. Definitely would not recommend!! I don't like to write reviews like this but the service was horrible as they made us feel unwelcome!!

This place was recommended by my coworker. So i thought I give it a try. Saturday around 1030 and luckily there were few tables available so no wait. Friendly staff and people around appeared to be enjoying the food. I have never been to Turkish restaurant so it was fairly new experience for me. I ended up ordering the special mam's which was recommended my the waiter. Got Chai tea to go with the meal. Over all the food was pretty good, but all the little side dishes felt like something I could get at a store. Nothing stood out far as flavor for me to say man this is so yummy. Ordered Turkish coffee since I never tried it, which was pretty good. Chai tea was also pretty good. Over all experience was pretty good, food was pretty good. Price not so good.. . Once again this was more like 3.5 but over all it was closer to 4 than 5. I did order some extra bread to go since they were yummy. I probably won't come back here again, nothing stood out for me to say I want to come back.

Visited for brunch last Sunday & so pleased we tried it! The place is very cute inside and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very busy as I think every table was occupied, but she was friendly and made sure our experience was good.

I discovered Rayoog just less than a year ago, even though I've lived in the area for a few, and my only regret is not stumbling upon them sooner! It's a quiet, homey little restaurant tucked away in an unassuming little lot, but the place is just amazing--interesting, authentic food and fantastic service. The Mam's tray comes with tea and bread and easily serves 2 or 3+ people especially if you get it with a salad or something else like the shakshuka.

This place was incredible! The food, presentation and service were outstanding! We came around 1230 on a weekday/holiday and were seated right away. I'm sure they're probably busier on weekends. There was indoor/outdoor seating and easy parking. This place had family diner meets modern vibes. The server taking care of us patiently explained the menu and foods to us. My husband and I decided to order the special mam's platter, which allowed us to really try a variety of the traditional Arabic brunch food offerings. Everything on the platter was delicious, and we also really enjoyed the eggs and cheese bread that was included. There was not one thing that I didn't like here. I cannot give enough praise to this restaurant, and I think everyone should come here to experience it.

SO glad I found this hidden gem, if I could only go to one place for breakfast in Arizona forever it would probably be here. Food came out extremely fast, everything was delicious, and it was such a fun sharing experience (I even forgot to take a picture of the eggs I was having too much fun). Wow what a great place to eat! We are so happy this opened and its officially my new favorite brunch spot. You start by being greeted with homemade delicous lentil soup. It's so good I wish I could take some home to feed me all week. Their menu has a variety of different turkish and Mediterranean dishes, something you don't find in this part of town. My family loves turkish good and have spent a lot of time over there. I was super happy to see things like shakshuka, and boat pizza! You can also get this killer family meal where you can sample a lot of items, I can't wait to come back and try that! My husband and I started with tea that we love and they gave us so so much! We then shared eggs with eggplant, Zatar boat pizza and babaganoush. Honestly I am getting hungry thinking of this meal because it was so so good! Everything was served fresh and it tasted like we were back abroad. It was also a lot of food. I can't wait to come back and try more! Also there babaganoush was easily the best in the state. read more

My family and I went for Mothers Day Brunch. The most delicious meal. The atmosphere is very nice inside. Our server was very attentive and very personable. We ordered A tray that came with tea and an assortment of breakfast items. The blueberry jam was delicious. We ordered a Turkish coffee and baklava for dessert which was divine. Decided to try this place out based on the good reviews and unfortunately left very disappointed. We ordered the hummus to START with and it was served along our main entrees. The hummus did not have any flavor, whatsoever. The pita bread that we were given were cold, as if it came straight out of the fridge. We had to ask them to heat them up. The dishes we ordered were served on what was supposed to be hot pans/plates, room temperature at best. My wife had the salami and egg which is what the restaurant is supposedly known for according to our server. The whole dish for $16 came with only 4 pepperonis. My dish with the salami came in the driest scramble eggs I've ever had. We still finished our food because we didn't want to waste $50 (with a 20% tip). But since we came to this place because of the great reviews, I feel it's only right I leave an honest review for people who may be looking for something great. read more

Wow!! The hubby and I shared and were so surprised at how much food we were served. The presentation was beautiful. My husband downed 4 of the homemade rolls with homemade jam. This was my first time experiencing a Mediterranean breakfast so I don't even know what all the dishes were but everything was fantastic. Topped off with the most perfectly ripe and beautiful fruit I've ever had at a restaurant. The owner dropped by our table and asked us for our feedback. We shared with him all of the above and also told him the music was a little too low and the salad plate was too small for the salad. He immediately provided us with a bigger salad plate and turned up the music. When he found out I was gluten free he let me know they are working on providing gluten free bread soon. Hands down this is great service! read more

Really enjoyed our experience and the breakfast! Menu has a good variety of Middle Eastern cuisine from a few areas. Loved the Turkish coffee and the portion was a decent size. The beverage prices were a little high (especially for tea) but it's all homemade which is wonderful. Loved the cheese boy with zaatar and my husband enjoyed his eggs and halal beef sausage. Excellent Mediterranean breakfast! The ambience of the Rayoog Cafe made me feel like we been transported to Iraq. We shared the VIP platter amongst 4 people, which was a plethora of food and allowed us to try a bit of everything! Personally I loved the eggplant salad and the z'attar with olive oil. They make everything from scratch including the cheese and yoghurt, which you can tell by the taste; literally everything was incredible! The Turkish tea was phenomenal- perfectly spiced and delightful. We also had the baklava dessert with pistachios, ice cream, and Nutella. Ummm... delicious! Would absolutely come back here again, so happy to see a traditional style restaurant in the area. They definitely offer a better experience and brunch than any other place I've been to in the East Valley! read more

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast on a Monday morning! Our server was friendly, and set up a table for us outside even though it looked like they weren't seating anyone out there. We ordered the shakahuka and the cream cheese with their homemade blueberry jam, as well as olive oil and Zataar- Delicious! We also ordered their Arabic tea, and got a whole pot to share. This is a family style restaurant, and it was fun trying several different things! Afterwards, we got their FRESH, homemade baklava with ice cream- what a treat! Just had breakfast there with a big group. It's packed weekend mornings so if you have a big group better to call ahead. We got 2 VIP breakfasts and it was just fantastic. Something for everyone. Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, something for everyone. Highly recommend this place. read more

Rayoog Cafe has easily become mine and my families favorite breakfast/brunch spot. There is not one thing at this restaurant we dislike. The atmosphere and service is also incredible. They are so friendly, helpful, and give amazing suggestions. Everything is freshly made daily, you can taste the difference. Even the tea, coffee, and lotus shake is amazing! My daughter constantly asks if we can have weekly visits to Rayoog and prefers this over any other breakfast place. If you are looking for a good place to eat, don't hesitate and get to Rayoog Cafe. read more

Not the best but it's a nice place to get Turkish and middle eastern breakfast. Waiters should pay more attention to little details like not placing fingers in to the water glasses and if a silverware drops on the ground it goes to dirty dishes not inside the folding napkins. But yet food was decent ambiance was good bathrooms were very clean. read more

Super yummy! We were excited to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. They serve you lentil soup right away when sit down which is delicious. I had the waffles and eggs with the eggs cooked over hard. The jam that came with it seemed home made and very fresh. Oh my gosh I can't wait to eat it again! I have been craving waffles in pregnancy and these may have been the best so far! The waffle was just soooo soft and fluffy. Also the fresh bread that comes as part of the meal was incredibly soft and delicious too. Even if you aren't familiar with middle eastern food, definitely give it a try! They even have a few vegetarian options! read more

I had been hearing so many great things about Rayoog and I have been dying to try it. I can't even tell you how amazing this place is. You are greeted by the friendliest staff and the the restaurant is super clean. We went for breakfast and decided to order family style. We ordered the Shakshuka Eggs and the Rayoog Toast. Shakshuka is so unassuming, but when done right it so full of flavor, and Rayoog does it right. The onions were sweet and caramelized which gave it such great flavor. It was delicious! We got an assortment of 6 toast dishes which sounds boring, but were soooo good! They were all delicious but the boiled egg and basil toast and the creamy cheese and blueberry jam toast were the table favorite. Can't wait to go back and try their family meals! read more

Amazing! Must try the Arabic tea with your meal. Aiman mgr & chef, was gracious and his food is past wonderful. Lauren our server did a wonderful job of serving us. we had The bread Toast for $24.00 that easily served 2. Fabulous! The best falafel and tahini I have ever had and believe me I've had a lot of other ones.. An awesome experience of Service, Food, Music & Atmosphere combined to make a real 5 diamond experience. My grandson loved the cheese boats and tried a few of the other food. He kept saying this is fancy good Yaya (me). We ordered Karak (Arabic tea milk with cardamom, on top of the Arabic tea that came with the Special Mam's and was in a fancy presentation...Excellent choice.
