There might not be more delicious food on the planet. Yummm. They have a vegan menu but with meat options for your meat eating friends and family. The service is great, the ambiance is relaxing and comfortable, and I can't say enough about the excellent menu. It's is pricey, which is why I don't eat here more often, but my guess is the cost of their very fresh and interesting ingredients is high, and considering the top-notch quality and taste it's worth the money. I started eating at Omar's Rawtopia years ago when it was located in Sugarhouse, and it's still my favorite restaurant. read more

Raw and vegan yum! I'm a recent convert to WFPB and I've been introduced to this place and have looked forward to anytime I head to SLC to come here (l'm living in Park City). I love the hummus, the rice dishes and the African dish. The tacos are also a huge winner. The space is huge, and while I normally have had huge anxiety about eating indoors in the era of Covid, this is one place that I will dine indoors on off times. Definitely worth a visit. read more

I was in a long road trip and took a night to rest in salt lake. I had been driving for 5 hours and was exhausted and hungry. I showed up 3o minutes before they were closing kitchen. I was greeted kindly like I had walked in at any other time of day. I asked If I could eat out in the patio so my dog could get out of the car and they said I could eat inside in the back with my dog. So my dog got inside with me while I enjoyed the Asian salad with falafel which was so good I inhaled it. It was also huge and filling. Love this place and they service was above and beyond. We love this place! We moved away last year and had been several times to their Sugarhouse location but while in town for the week we went to their new location and pleased to see the same great food with a few additions. Yum! The interior is also great. Makes us happy to see they found a new home. We have had several dishes here but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Give it a try! This is my second time coming to Rawtopia. I love that the menu is all gluten-free, dairy free and organic. The food is beautiful and delicious. I had lentil soup and Labneh pizza. The waitress alerted us that it is not your typical pizza. It is more like a salad with a large cracker. I really enjoyed it. The only down side was something very noisy was going on in the kitchen and made it hard to hear my companions talk. It sounded like a large metal table being dragged across the floor and it it went on for quite awhile. read more

There is no other place like this in Utah. I've been eating here since they were in Sugar House, and everything on the menu is delicious and diverse! I love how they cater to everyone, no matter what diet you choose. There's so much work and dedication that goes into preparing this food. The staff is super nice and go out of their way to make sure you're taking care of. So awesome that we have a place like this right here in Salt Lake City! read more

Rawtopia is always a great choice for a healthy, super fresh and delicious lunch or dinner. Don't let the name fool you, they have cooked dishes as well. I've tried most of the vegan items on the menu. Omar makes the best Baba Ganoush I've ever had. My favorites entrees are the Coconut Curry Rice, the Egousi, and Cauliflower Delight. The Dandelion and Sweet Basil salads are amazing. For dessert, I really recommend the berry cheesecake. If you haven't already, try this restaurant out. You'll love the quality ingredients and beautiful plating whether you eat vegan, vegetarian, raw or otherwise. read more

The new Rawtopia location is fantastic! The menu is expanded to include a few cooked items and several meat options. We tried several things and loved everything. The service was great and the building is really nice. Expect to find a few seasonal items as they get a lot of local produce. We had curry squash soup and a beet salad that was wonderful. Though I've visited Salt Lake City around 5 times, I still hadn't found "The Place;" the spot that I had to go to every time I was in town...until now. My partner and I ended up here after a friend recommended it by saying, "Rawtopia changed the way I thought about food." I would say it was an apt recommendation. The baked cauliflower appetizer came with the best Tahini I've ever had. My partner and I split the Pizza and the Stir Fry and both were so full of flavor and filling. My biggest worry with raw food is that I'll get super full during dinner, and then be starving a half hour later. With this food, I was full for hours, and still felt full when I went to bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that service was a bit slow, but the food was so good and people so friendly that it kind of outweighed the slowness. I highly recommend this place - it is totally worth the money and the time, and you will walk away feeling happy and clean, inside and out (even if you eat the delicious raw vegan cheesecake like we did). read more

Calming space, people and food! Their Lebanese platter is amazing with house made Mac nut hummus, labneh, and tabbouleh. I had the Lebanese stew and it was dynamite comfort food . My colleague had egousi and the plantains added so much to this dish. Finished off with vegan affogato and matcha tea. This place is nice, clean, healthy, nutritious and fun. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. They have diversified their menu, making it easier to bring friends who are not as excited about raw vegan options, but, I'm telling you, all of their food is amazing. Sooooo good! And completely allergy safe! Entire place is GF & DF. Mostly organic. Vegan options and sustainable meat. And the kids loved it - we ate there four times during our stay at their request. Once in person and 3 times delivery. Staff are amazing, kind and patient. Food is priced very reasonably for the quality. Beautiful area for a gentle stroll after too - glorious scenery. Easy to get to by bus from downtown. read more

The ambience is clean and modern. Really nice art some of which was for sale. Very open with high ceilings and bright decor. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They all knew the menu and took a team approach to looking after our table. The chef seemed to spend as much table walking around and chatting with customers as in the kitchen, but the food was right on time. The food was awesome. A little Middle Eastern flair in some of the dishes but just as a hint in the flavors. There were plenty of items that had no Middle Eastern flair that were equally fantastic. I really liked that the vegetarian and vegan options didn't dominate the menu. Great bison burger, pancakes with berries, salads to perfection and omelettes. It seems they put a lot of time into really going after quality ingredients. We didn't try the smoothies, but the selection looked great. This place is a winner. read more

Amazing place to eat! I'm vegan and my dad who eats meat but will try vegan food was visiting, he absolutely loved it! Love that they have options for omnivores too b/c it can be a conflict with vegans in the family finding places to eat! But this satisfies everyone's palette! Rawtopia is my favorite restaurant in the country. I found it when Omar was still in the original space in Sugarhouse. It was a respite from a wild world. The food is excellent and authentically made consciously with love and the highest quality ingredients. It feels like visiting family when we eat in. I am so pleased every time I come to the restaurant and see the it packed. Omar's vision was before his time and now the world is catching up. Major fan! read more

Love this place. Love the owner. The food is the healthiest in the salt lake valley no doubt. The owner is vegan, but still has meat options. Super well run restaurant with an amazing ambiance. We were blown away by this place! The menu is so incredibly varied and had such unique options, and the ambiance was wonderful and the staff were very attentive. The root bear Kambucha is good. I got the hit burger and it is very dry . Vertical diner has a nut burger years ago and it was more moist. I would try this place again in the summer. The desserts looked good. It's was $140 dollars for & people so not bad ! Staff was friendly too read more

Absolutely amazing. I recently became interested in a vegan diet (Game Changers on Netflix) and was referred to Rawtopia (from my kids). I had an organic bottle of wine, a starter, 2 dishes and a shared desert and the price was only $88! Everything was delicious and I walked out feeling completely satisfied without feeling gross. I haven't found a salad in salt lake that checks off all the items on my list until coming here! vegan, filling, huge and delicious and full of flavor. So damn good and full of FLAVOR! Friends of ours came here while on their honeymoon and recommended it. We walked by and examined the menu for 15 min before we decided to sit down and dine, my husband was hungry lol He ordered the hummus roll, and was very satisfied. Not overly full, but just enough to walk around comfortably. I ordered the raw pasta with the marinara basil sauce and nut'seed cheese. OMG....it was sooooo good! We also ordered the chocolate caramel pie with the coconut almond crust. Amazing. We are it very, very slow. Highly recommend it! Great menu! Servers were nice. Atmosphere was pleasant. Meet the Business Owner: Omar A.

Hi, I'm Omar, chef and owner of Rawtopia. I grew up between Lebanon and West Africa, and in 2005 I left a career in geophysics to open Rawtopia and cook the food I believe in. My mother, Jinan, has cooked beside me from day one, and many of our dishes are her family recipes. Everything we serve is organic, 100% gluten-free, and made from scratch. I was honored to cook with Martha Stewart on her show "Martha Cooks." Come say hi. You'll usually find me in the kitchen or stopping by tables at dinner.

Rawtopia has some redeeming qualities. We had the Solito Salad and the Raw Pasta. I'm by no means a raw advocate, but I am a foodie and love trying new things. The dressing on the salad was delicious and the sauce on the zucchini pasta was heavenly. All in all the food is fantastic. If you only care about how good your food is, this is the place for you, but if you're like me and care about an entire experience when you go out to dine, then consider eating elsewhere. We went on a Friday night and there were two servers, which obviously wasn't enough because the service was awful. Our server had no desire to answer questions about the menu or even smile. She came and took our order, and brought our food. That was it. She never came back to check on us and after waiting 10 minutes after we finished eating for our check, we ended up going to the front counter to pay. If she would have come back, we would have ordered dessert. Secondly, the prices are outrageous. I can respect the freshness of the ingredients, but the portions were way too small.
