This place is AMAZING! My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch and ordered a decent amount of food because we wanted to try multiple dishes and ended up eating almost everything. The best part about it is that even though we ate a ton of food, we didn't feel gross after it. We even ended up skipping dinner because we still felt so satisfied hours later, which I NEVER do. We had the lamb kafta, miso soup, 3 chocolate covered strawberries, hemp milk chai, lentil soup, sweet potato fries, fish tacos, pumpkin pie and golden milk latte. Wow the food here is great. Everything is very thoughtfully put together with homemade sauces. The Brazil nut burger was very tasty and the Lebanese chili was excellent. Both smoothies we tried were amazing. Even their fermented spicy hot sauce was great and well worth the $2 extra. The homemade pistachio and rosewater ice cream was perfect. I can't believe it's been 6 years since my first review! Me and my husband have been coming about once a year since that first visit! It's still the highest quality food, most flavorful, and so delicious! I'm so glad my husband likes it as much as I do. Today we tried the labneh and seed crackers, and it's my new favorite appetizer! So creamy, and of course so much flavor. We got our favorite cauliflower delight, amazing, and the stuffed mushrooms. Every time I come I have to get the sweet potato fries, they are my favorite, so good! We always say we're going to try something different but end up getting the same thing every time! We were in need of something healthy after a week of eating not so great during a move. I have been wanting to try this place since they specialize in raw, vegan food with no seedoils. We lucked out and went on a Wednesday which meant their salads were $5 off which is a pretty sweet deal! Service was quick and friendly. The decor had such a calming vibe with crystals and plants. The menu was extensive with so many yummy sounding options. We opted for the falafel salad and the bison patty salad and started with an order of sweet potato fries for our little one. Everything was delicious! The salads were huge and the dressing was so creamy and flavorful. I ended up reading about the owner and saw that he is Lebanese hence the delicious flavor and middle eastern flair to the dishes. Everything was filling and I love not feeling heavy or guilty afterwards. The sweet potatoes had a nice kick to them and a lovely spiced sauce. Will definitely return to try more dishes! read more

I was in Salt Lake City for a conference and went to Rawtopia for dinner. The first night I had the bison burger with the buckwheat bun. Delicious! I ordered food for the next day because the food offered at the conference was subpar. I had the salmon with salad greens. Amazing. The next night I went back to Rawtopia and had their fish tacos and sweet potato fries. So good! Since I was going to be traveling the next day with a long layover I bought lunch and dinner to go for the next day. Hummus plate, stuffed mushrooms, bison salad and left over fries. I am one happy Traveller. The food is vibrant and so nourishing. The people working there are so kind and look genuinely happy. The root beer float needs work though the coconut ice cream is not great it would be better without coconut but the root beer was awesome! They have a great menu and I did tell the waiter that I didn't like the root beer float but he didn't offer me a better choice without paying. I didn't think that was cool. We've eaten here a couple of times and can't say enough good about the menu offerings, quality of dishes, ambiance and staff! We are both vegan and I was raw for a period of time. All of the dishes have unbelievable flavor and are all so different. No trash ingredients used here! Went here after a long day of skiing and it did not disappoint! The service was great, very friendly staff who explained all of the items on the menu to us. Great vibe, and the food was delicious! We had the bison tacos, fish tacos, Asian salad and cashew cheese stuffed mushrooms with bison crumbles on top. All dairy free and GF! We also had an amazing house made lemonade and a golden milk. What an incredible experience. Wasn't sure what to expect when we first stepped in, but left very pleased and amazed by the incredible flavors. Two brothers started this restaurant and wanted to bring a "taste" of their country here to the US. So thankful to experience their amazing food and culture. We practically tried one of everything from the menu. From the Ginger Aide, Stuffed Mushrooms, Lebnah, Bean Tostada, Egousi, Sweet Basil Salad, Bison Salad, homemade ice cream, and pies, literally had it all. Considering I'm gluten free and mostly vegan, I want so badly to love this place but I just can't! I actually haven't been here in a long time, but my coworker suggested it and I went with an open mind. However I was immediately reminded of why I'm not a fan: They are so slow!!!! The salad dressing was quite oily. I hardly used any and kinda felt ill afterwards. I shared sweet potato fries with my coworker and they were ok, but I've definitely had better. The thing that bothered me the most is that I love black pepper, so I asked for some to put on my salad as there wasn't any on the table. I also like a lot of fry sauce/ketchup when I eat fries so I asked for ketchup since I was sharing with my coworker and didn't want to hog all the sauce. Absolutely delicious! We had the stew, chili, and various salads and cocktails. Every dish was amazing.

When you walk in it's bright and vibrant just like their food. You can choose to sit at the counter or get one of their limited tables. Make sure you call ahead because they may have a wait. We had the Lebanese sampler platter, the humus was very nice, the Labneh was my fav and the Baba Ganoush was excellent. We then got their soup of the day which was a cashew broccoli. For our entree we got the Egousi ( African dish ) 5* and the Fassoolia was really full of flavor and spice. All ingredients are 99.9% organic which is the only place in Utah that serves that way. I ordered the bison burger, which came with a side of baked sweet potato fries and cashew-tomato fry sauce. First, those fries. They are the best sweet potato fries I've ever had hands down! I believe they're made from Japanese sweet potato, or some other white sweet potato, which already puts them in a class of their own. Then, the thickness is perfect, they're baked to perfection, and the spice rub adds great flavor and a little extra crunch on the outside. The fry sauce is delicious too and pairs really well with the fries. The burger, on the other hand, wasn't super memorable. It's kind of dry, but I wasn't expecting anything too juicy given that it's lean bison. The bun was fine, but the point is for it to be healthy, not a thick and fluffy bun. You're definitely paying a premium here for the healthy ingredients and the interesting dishes. If you've got the budget and want something a little healthier, I'd recommend Rawtopia! Let me preface this review by saying that I love to cook, and when I go out to a restaurant like Rawtopia, my expectation is that the food will be better than what I can make at home. That being said, I was extremely disappointed with my food and experience here. The waitstaff was the exception, being very polite and offering us good service, but the time it took to receive the food was extremely long, given the small crowd for dinner. My wife even joked that they had to pick the food for us because it was farm to table. In regard to the food, I ordered the bison burger and sweet potato fries with the burger done "medium". When it came, it was extremely overcooked (more than "well-done"), over salted and nowhere near medium. It was also about 3" wide which was ridiculously small given the $20+ price tag. The so-called bun was not much better, being extremely thin and tasting like cardboard. It broke into pieces with the first bit. I had to eat it with a fork and knife because there was no way to physically hold it. The fries that came along with it. were on the soggy side, and extremely over seasoned. I thought maybe it was just the burger, but my wife's cauliflower dish was also over-cooked with the cauliflower basically mush. Definitely disappointed in the food, especially given the high prices. I'm not sure it's worth going back to even give it another try. read more

Moved here recently from California and having a difficult time finding food options that are unique in flavor but most importantly, Healthy! Rawtopia is such a breath of fresh air around here so far. Obviously cooked with nothing but great ingredients and love the unique and extensive menu. The menu is laid out nicely notating the various GF (Gluten Free), DF (Dairy Free) and Vegan options. So once we decided on our meals we ordered and the wait began. Luckily it was a short wait lol I have to say I was blown away, as was my GF by the amount of food, quality of the food, presentation and last but not least the flavor!!! I had the Baba Ganoush as an appetizer and the Vegan Tacos. She had the Salmon and a salad as well as a delicious Toddy. It was absolutely fantastic! I was brought here for a surprise dinner. I definitely was surprised how good the food tasted. Portions are generous. If you leave hungry, well, it's your own fault. When we arrived we were seated right away. No one was sitting next to us until after we had ordered, then another party was seated across from us, more than 6 feet away. Restaurant has an open European simplistic feel as their decor. Wait staff was friendly, efficient, and were wearing masks. Our party ordered Samuel Smith's Organic Perry Sparkling Pear Cider, Chardonnay and a green smoothie . Along with Hummus vegie dip, stuffed mushrooms, bison stew (which was more of a salad) bison burger and not chicken salad. For desert we had lemon cheesecake, fudge (which was so rich and tasty) and berries and cream. I don't think they used regular milk, maybe coconut milk or almond but whatever they used it tasted soooo good. The only drawback is the price of everything. It's so expensive. I am a vegan and travel to SLC frequently. Although Rawtopia is not vegan, it's got strong wholesome vibes, with a few dishes to soothe your meat-eating friends. This was my first time to Rawtopia, a little bit out of the way for us, but with so little traffic in SLC, we got there fast I ordered the lentil soup, which was outstanding, but the chocolate goji drink was phenomenal. I was kind of surprised when I heard myself ordering it, because I can't stand sweet drinks, but I could not pass up the combo of cacao, goji, coconut, almond, and love. It was not particularly sweet, and given that the other members of my party loved it too, I wish I had ordered a gallon. I did get to sample everyone else's dishes as well.
