Monti is much more than just a coffee shop. We've stopped in several times and have been impressed with both the quality of the food and the variety on the menu. The Sausage Sami is one of my favorites--filling and packed with flavor--and my wife really enjoyed the steak and cherry salad. We've also had their fresh-squeezed juices and smoothies, which have all been great. There are still quite a few items on the menu we'd like to try, which is always a good sign. It's great to have a healthy, fresh food option here in the Holladay area. We'll definitely be back. read more

I was super excited to try this place, but I think the appeal is in the drive thru semi healthy options paired with the gym next door. I think it's overrated for a few reasons: first the ambiance of the inside compared to the food packaging is confusing. Everything is to go which is awesome for convenience but where did the photos of the plated items come from? Ohh the business owner. But how about bring "stay" on a tray so we don't have to waste so many beautiful white bags? Not environmentally friendly either. Our salmon was NOT roasted, it looked cooked but definitely not roasted thought the green beans were roasted. Black rice was delicious and I always love me some pickled onions but the star of the show was disappointing. It's a good thing we were so hungry and ate it all anyway. The tuna melt was next on my list of disappointments. I expect a melt to be melted. It seems the bread was toasted with cheese separately and the tuna was cold. Umm, enough said. Shoulda called it something else. Tuna with toast? The fries were too soggy and not crispy enough. *sigh. The Mediterranean wrap was delicious but I forgot to add chicken and I'm slightly sad they didn't ask me, "would you like to add some chicken or turkey?" The peach prosciutto salad was pretty good, no complaints there. Perhaps they were super busy the day I came. The drive thru line is super long and it's packed so maybe they slipped on quality but overall 2 stars, 3 stars for the beautiful interior. The furniture is gorgeous. read more

Amazing caesar salad wraps!! So warm and full of chicken, i hope they don't change anything in the future. Very modern and warm indoor dining, i loved everything about it. My only suggestion is to blend the date me smoothie a little more, i kept drinking up chunks of date that i had to chew, making the drink more of a meal. But i will definitely be back i loved the wraps! read more

This is close by so I've gone a few times. I went inside the other day to order coffee and the girl was so rude. I ordered a large hot latte and she looked at me like I was so stupid and said in a disgusted tone that the largest they have for a hot is 16oz.. ok, sorry I didn't know that. The drive thru takes forever.. like you should tha be a drive thru if you're not actually somewhat quick. You're usually sitting there for at least 20 minutes waiting. But today... we're stuck in the drive thru for 45 minutes!!!! Sorry but that's crazy and I won't be coming back after that. read more

Rare to have healthy and fast with reasonable prices simultaneously but Monti has achieved this remarkable feat. Monti's is located in a holladay strip mall in a former fast food joint, keeping the drive thru but revamping inside to transform the dining area into a bright and cozy cafe. You order at the counter with an array of salads, bowls and sandwiches along with smoothies and fresh juices. My husband ordered a tuna salad sandwich and I ordered a salmon bowl. Everything was fresh and delicious. There was some confusion with our drink orders but the staff was quick to remedy it. The cookies there are amazing, thin and full of butter! Some of the best cookies I've had in SLC All orders regardless of dine in or to go are placed as a to go order which ends up being a bit wasteful and there were no trash bins to dispose of your containers once you were finished. I had seen that this place has a chicken Caesar wrap, so I was super excited to see that it's close enough to my work to go during lunch. This place is seriously adorable. It has gorgeous mountain views and nice seating outside. They also have seating inside. I think this used to be a fast food place, so they even have a drive thru!! When I got there, they had samples out of their frozen orange juice. It was SO GOOD and refreshing. You can taste that it is freshly squeezed. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap as well as a side of fries with fry sauce. While I waited for my food, an employee brought me out another free sample. This time it was their golden hour smoothie. So yummy!! They gave me my food in a cute bag. The wrap was really good but had a little bit too much Parmesan for me. It over powered the other flavors a little bit, but I still enjoyed it!! I would not recommend getting the fries. I wish that they had been thinner. They were also pretty soggy. Overall, not great, but I do think this place is more of a health food place, so I don't think fries are their focus. I'm excited to go back and try more of the menu!! read more

Ordered online two hours ahead of time and was told are order would be done at noon. I arrived at noon and nothing. No one you would acknowledges you when you were waiting for an order. Least 12 people waiting for online orders that don't seem to ever come. They have a huge drive-through business that seems to get all the priority. Not impressed! Basically waited almost an hour for an order that was supposedly already done. We got the chicken Caesar wrap and it was very yummy so I changed my review to 2 stars. Ordered the avocado toast. Requested no corn, paid extra for an egg and turkey bacon, and requested sourdough toast. It's like the cook did not read the ticket item. Received the toast with corn, and did not receive the egg and turkey bacon I paid extra for. In addition, I received my toast on seeded bread. Glass shards in smoothie! No response from owners after a week, no care in contamination or safety! We have been regularly coming here since opening. We loved it even though the service is extremely slow, one time we were in the drive thru for 45 minutes- unacceptable anywhere else. The fries are a disgusting sloppy mess, so we stopped ordering them. But we wanted to support local and the location is convenient for us. At this point is doesn't matter what other items we tried and liked as i would not recommend monti anymore due to their careless safety practices. Because a little over a week ago we ordered a wrap, burger, tenders and a smoothie. After 20 minutes waiting for the car ahead of us it was our turn. They immediately handed us our bag of food (which meant it had been sitting inside getting cold and soggy, again). However our smoothie was not ready, they asked us to wait longer. We heard a girl asking a young man to prepare our smoothie...at this point we had ordered 30 minutes ago. It seemed hectic and unorganized inside. We continued to wait in the drivethru another 25 minutes just for the single smoothie, somethingvseemed wrong. We were familiar with how unorganized and slow they are, but our food was inedible, and falling apart because of how cold and soggy it had gotten over the course of nearly an hour. Once our smoothie that had taken another half hour to blend, they handed it to us with no apologies for the wait, or warnings or explanation that our food may be unsafe or contaminated. Upon trying the smoothie I noticed hard bits that I thought were small seeds. I swallowed some, but then a larger piece came through the straw. As I pulled it out of my mouth I was shocked to see what looked like a SHARD OF GLASS in my food! I immediately started panicking, and strained the smoothie at home to investigate. I couldn't believe they served this. I had found dozens of pieces or sharp glass or hard plastic all throughout the smoothie. My stomach was hurting and there was a concern that it caused me to start bleeding while in the bathroom!!! We emailed the owner again, it has been over a week with no response, even after resending the message with photos attached. I want to warn locals to not order here, but especially not the smoothies. We wanted to contact them and warn them so no children or other diners get hurt or sick. But the owner clearly doesn't care about safety or contamination. I want to point out when we were here there were small children consuming smoothies and food on the patio and that is what concerned me most- the potential for kids to be hurt and sickened by this careless establishment. Heard good things about this place. Went to the Greek place in the same parking lot that was closed today and decided to try Monti. It was just OK. We ordered and it took a while for our food to get to us. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was just simply cold and unremarkable. My wife ordered the chicken wrap and wondered if there was chicken in it. Other than my breakfast burrito being cold none of it was bad. It just wasn't remarkable. This coupled with waiting a while for the food and it was a bit warm inside the restaurant, we are just hoping for a better experience. The sunrise juice drink, however, was fantastic. read more

My mom and I went here twice and we liked the food and the drinks but the customer service sucks. The second time we went it took 30 minutes to get our food and 3 other customers got their food before us while we were still waiting for ours and we ordered way before those customers did. These customers got the same orders as us too and we had to remind the workers about our order which we didn't like. My wife and I are big fans of Beaumont so we were excited about Monti (Same initial owner). The food is mostly good but the service is terrible. Our orders take too long to make for cafe-style and the orders two weeks in a row have been completely wrong and cold. Monti can be an excellent eat but it is running the risk of losing us because the service and food are subpar. I hope they correct this. read more

This is a great little place. First, Everything I ordered so far was wonderful. The BLT is one of the best I've had in years and the mini breakfast burrito was scrumptious. Considering how close this little gem is to my house, I plan to work my way through the menu. Next, I love that they have a drive-thru so I can swing by after work for something delicious and stay in my car. Finally, the staff was very nice, efficient and a pleasure to work with.
