Spinach ravioli & grilled chicken

This spot was so nice & our waitress was a #CANCER who was phenomenal, won't he do it #VBfoodCRITIC #itsMYbirthday

The owner and his wife happen to sit by us. I had to share how fabulous the Ossobucco was and the ravioli was perfect. The pasta home made not to thick. The ravioli sauce was light and full of flavor not overpowering the pasta. If you like beets you will LOVE their beet salad!! We will be back over and over again! Oh we also tried the 2019 Barolo wine and it was perfect with our dinner!

Dry, over cooked pasta. Where's the sauce?

We stopped by for a Thursday night date. NOT impressed at all. Let's start with the meatballs. They are homemade and I do appreciate the work put into that. What I did not appreciate, was the bone I bit into, along with several pieces of cartilage my husband bit into as well. Low quality meats will always show up. ($18 for this pleasure.) We told the waiter and yes he, laughed it off. We both had the pasta, my husband had the Bolognesse and said it was just ok. My special, fusilli was to be in a cream sauce with sausage and mushrooms. There was no sauce, the pasta was over cooked and it was dry. My guess is they put to much parmesan cheese on it and it went dry. At first, we tried to get the attention of the waiter, but to no avail. We took the meatballs and my pasta home for our friends. We had some friends that could not make it for dinner, and wanted to try the place with us. They tried both and the conclusion was the same. Thank you for saving us $90. Not worth the $90. for meatball appy and 2 pasta dishes. In this economy everyone is watching the prices soar. We don't mind paying the higher prices, if it's good quality. The meatballs were inexcusable!!!!

Absolutely delicious meals. My friends and I left our plates clean. My island time drink was so good- if you like sweet but less alcoholic taste, this is the drink for you. Food was fresh and tasty. This low-lit restaurant has a wonderful ambiance for any occasion. The service was fair paced and the staff was kind. Will be back!

Wow, this spot is the most authentic Italian spot in the tri state area you can get. They make the pasta fresh every day and you can taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. The staff is extremely pleasant. The owners know their stuff and will talk to you like you're family. The atmosphere is exquisitely divine with old historic charm. This resturant is positioned in an old bank with an old vault available for group rents. It's fabulous. You must stop by, have some bread and cheese, drink a espresso martini and try the cacio y Pepe. You won't regret this amazing spot!

It was a rainy evening when we dropped by. We had made reservations ahead of time and checked to make sure the spot was still available for a larger dinner party (9 people). While we were told it was still available over the phone, when we arrived, there was some sort of confusion that left us waiting for about 20 minutes before we were actually seated. Our waiter appeared very flustered (it must've been a long night), and did their best to take care of us. But some of the menu options ended up not being available last minute despite being placed right away, so we had to choose different options while we were waiting, and then wait again. Once the food was finally out, it was mostly good.... Except there was a mix up with one of the orders, and we had to wait for the correct one to replace it. Due to the haste, that ravioli dish ended up still being frozen in the center. By the time it was reheated in the microwave, the ricotta and pasta had completely melted. I'm assuming the food was in there a little too long, as the texture was completely off. But at least it was finally served hot. TLDR pros: food and drinks were good (the Japanese Cold Noodles cocktail was very interesting). The shared plates, burrata/prosciutto and beet salads, were enjoyable. TLDR cons: I wouldn't blame the waiter as the venue was pretty loud and difficult to hear over the din of voices. However, the wait time and mix-ups made dining here a bit stressful and hectic, so I think this place may be more suitable for smaller parties as they seemed unprepared overall. Some of the menu items may not be available, so ask the waiter if they can check with the kitchen first. And maybe get something that's not ravioli.

Another horrible experience here. Personally, I'd avoid this place. Food was seriously overpriced and the staff pretty rude.

What kind of dress attire would be appropriate for this restaurant?

We were 6 adults. All of us were casual and didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Of course, it's kind of an upscale place so semi-formal wouldn't be out of place either. It was a great evening with great food.

Does anyone know the latest status on this place? I tried to call to check hours and their # is out of service. I hope they are still in business.... no updates online or here

They were closed all winter 2017-18, but are open as of now 6/16/18.

Easy five stars to a mountain brewery and winery with the most spectacular view! And terrific food…read moreoptions too! Must visit! Well, I just love this place and if you're looking for somewhere to get a drink and soak in the gorgeous Delaware water gap area look no further! First of all the beer here was really darn good, a cut above most places! But on top of that, if you'd rather have wine, well help yourself! They also do wine flights here! Both a beer and wine were terrific and above average! But the location and the views give it an extra star and bring it to five stars! The experience is not to be missed and exactly what I was looking for after a hard day of hiking and sightseeing in the Delaware water camp. On top of that, they got some really nice food. If you're hungry, their pizza is great! Great bar pies to hit the spot! You could sit inside or outside. If you want to sit inside, I highly recommend making a reservation even for the middle of the afternoon! That's right even for the middle of the afternoon! However, even though the inside was full, we sat out back on the patio and had a blast! However, if you want to eat a meal here, you'll need to get a reservation inside. They serve a limited menu outside however pizza was exactly what I was looking for to go with my beer! Super highly recommended to visit when in the area.

The food was authentic, unique, and combined in palette awakening plates. Our meal featured: House made Palermo wine: full flavored, semi-dry made without additives Homemade Hummus & Vinaigrette Beets: Garnished with fresh, vibrant pesto. Korean Beef Stew: Deeply savory, featuring tender, authentically seasoned beef over mashed potatoes (or ancient bread cubes), garnished with homemade kimchi. Dessert: Pistachio, almond or vanilla panna cotta (sells out fast). The sheer amount of care, prep, and scratch-cooking that goes into this menu makes it a standout restaurant in Northeast PA. Library Lounge at Skytop Lodge feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way…read more From the moment you walk in, everything slows down. Dim lighting, big comfortable leather chairs, bookshelves lining the walls, a fully stocked bar, and historic photos throughout the space create a classic lodge vibe that feels timeless without being stuffy. It is cozy, polished, and incredibly relaxing. The staff is knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in what they serve. The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Plan extra time, you will want to linger.
