Highly recommend Ravenna Painting. From the initial meeting of the owner with his comprehensive and thorough examination of all parts of the exterior of my home to the excellent communication throughout the process of painting the outside of my home including re-siding the south side, adding a purchased awning onto the back door and removing items on west side of the house that didn't need to be there.... I couldn't be happier. The painters did a great job with all aspects of the job from the prep, painting and clean-up. I've had a couple people come by asking who did the work. Work was done in June 2025. read more

You can't go wrong with this painting company. They are reliable, are excellent in their painting and helpful when needed. We had the exterior of our house painted. a tudor style with 2 colos on the trim which isnt always easy when using a dark and a light color. The house looks exactly as I wanted.Oliver the owner was the best at keeping us updated. Was always available. I trusted his advice and he was always on right. We got 3 bids and theirs was in the middle. We are hoping to have them back to do the interior of our house this year! read more

I AM SO LATE IN DOING THIS! AHHHH. Oliver painted the interior of our house about *sigh* three years ago and I'm writing a review now. I'm embarrassed, but hey better late than never. The owner: Oliver - We absolutely loved him. My family was going through a VERY hard time. My husband had just been diagnosed with cancer and was an inpatient going through Chemo at Swedish. We decided we needed a treat for our new house when we brought him home. He was inpatient for 5 days. We called Oliver and he fit us in for one of my husband 5 day stints inpatient. We took our dining room from burnt dark red/orange to a nice light color (a mix of beige, yellow, cream) and it looks great. We have a craftsman with all the details, he did a great job. His team took good care of the house and any concerns we had, were quickly and kindly answered by Oliver! We needed that kindness and he did not disappoint. And months after we had our home painted... Oliver called just to check in and make sure my husband was doing well (Yes! he is almost 3 years in remission now!) We are now thinking of painting our home... and when we decide to go it there is NO QUESTION where we will go. (yeah, you're on to me... this is why I remembered to write this.) Oliver, we will see you soon I hope! read more

Do you want a painting company that is of the highest quality, that hires only the best people who have your satisfaction in mind, uses only the best materials, and one that is full service? Then you need look no further than Ravenna Painting. Oliver came out to bid the job of painting the exterior of my home. I was very impressed with his knowledge of materials and solutions to repair areas of dry rot plus other weather prone areas. He listened carefully and heard my every expectation. His very complete and detailed bid covered carpentry work and presented options I could choose from. From this it was very easy to identify exactly what I wanted done, what I could expect and how much it would cost in advance. The Covid Quarantine set the whole country back and created new obstacles for small businesses. My job was delayed as schedules were disrupted and I was worried that they wouldn't be able to get to my house before temperatures dropped and the rains set in. Luckily for me, Orlin's crew came out to do my job just in time and clearly they had the right experience, equipment and talent to complete my job while working around the intermittent bad weather. Orlin has excellent communication skills and kept me informed as to when he would be here and only painted when he could be assured the conditions were right. They protected my neighbor's property as well as my own and cleaned up every night. I can clearly see that Ravenna Painting takes great pride in their work and they work very hard to insure that I would be happy in the end. Ravenna Painting has been around for a long time and the three year warranty also provides the confidence to know that should anything not be right, they will be back to take care of it. I am so pleased to have chosen Ravenna Painting to do my house. It looks great and I now have the peace of mind that my house is ready for winter. read more

We hired Ravenna Painting to remove the ancient popcorn ceiling texture of our condo unit, repair some drywall, re-texture and paint. Overall the job took about 5 days, which was within the expectations set by Oliver and we're extremely happy with the outcome! Additionally, the work crew kept the halls and common areas of our condominium clean despite this being a very messy project. Lastly, I deeply appreciated that his team took the time to cut out a section of paint from our wall as a sample to find the best possible match to paint the ceiling. As a result I now have a specific known brand of paint and particular color code I can use to easily match any future jobs. I'd highly recommend them for your next major painting project. read more

When we moved into our house two years ago, the inspector said that the paint was fading and that we would need to get it painted. I did my research and called Oliver and a few other vendors. Oliver was honest in his assessment (that the paint was okay and would hold through the winter, but the house would need to get painted). I chose Oliver because of his attention to detail, his eye for color and his price was very competitive. I am so happy that I chose him because he was fantastic! Oliver's crew is extremely careful and hardworking. They came early and stayed late. They were extremely detailed oriented. My house had some rotting on the bottom shingles on the south side. Oliver's team not only replaced the shinges, but they also replaced the undermount boards, because those had rotted through. Throughout the whole process, Oliver communicated with me about how the project was progressing. If you are serious about getting your house painted, I seriously recommend Oliver and Ravenna Painting for the job! The house looks fantastic and the wife is happy. Ravenna Painting helped me with a really complex job on my 100+ year old craftsman on Queen Anne. The previous owner had done a horrible job maintaining the ornate millwork, and it was bubbling and chipping away around the entire house. Fixing It required detailed sanding of complex profiles down to bare wood before priming and painting. Just thinking about it gave me a headache. Ugh. I got multiple quotes before choosing Ravenna Painting. Oliver explained the process his team would use in great detail. He listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. In the end, I was incredibly comfortable with handing over this project to his team. The results surpassed my expectation. All of the sanding was done without rounding over corners. He walked me through the process the whole way (this was a multi-week project), and delivered the project on time. He even highlighted potential trouble spots where rot might grow, and then showed how he could seal them to protect my investment. I was most impressed by the team's focus on quality. Before Oliver's team would start work, he would come over with a moisture meter and make sure that that it was safe to proceed. I asked him why he was doing this, since it seemed like it was taking a lot of time out of his day. He then explained that he was checking to make sure that it was safe to paint - if the wood is too wet, then it could peal in a few years. I'm so glad that he was thinking about this, because I wouldn't have. It's been 2 years since he completed this job, and it still looks amazing. I've recommended him to my neighbors, and Ravenna Painting is the first number I call when I have a job. read more

Competitively price and quality work. we just had the exterior of our house painted by them. The crew is considerate, professional, happy (we're going to miss them!) on time and on schedule. Oliver refinishing the entire exterior of my home in July - a massive job that he and his crew did perfectly. My home is three stories tall with a basement on a narrow lot and its cedar plank siding needed to be refinished. After washing the exterior of my house twice to remove the failing oil stain he also took the time to sand down areas of the siding that weren't adequately cleaned with washing. Before applying any new product to my home Oliver took the time to review all the available options. I decided to go with a two step water based finish by a company called Sansin. Before applying any product to the house Oliver had a representative from Sansin come out to look at my house and make sure that he was using the correct product. He and his crew carefully applied the new product to the siding of my house and the results are fantastic. The end result is beautiful, less toxic and will last longer than what had been on my house before. Oliver made sure to communicate directly with me about the job every step of the way to make sure that I was satisfied with his work. He also did a bit of interior work for me with great results - much better attention to detail than a larger and more expensive painting company I've used in the past. I can't recommend Oliver highly enough - he's the most professional and thoughtful contractor I've ever hired read more

When we hired Ravenna Painting to do a repair and painting project at our condominium, we were first impressed with owner, Oliver Evans. He was knowledgeable, positive, and gave us a fair quote for the scope of work. He has been a delight to work with throughout the project. Orlin and his crew did exceptional work in handling all repairs and painting - doing many finishing details just to please our various residents. They often went beyond their normal duties to make us all happy! (No easy trick within a condominium:-) We are delighted with the finished product and highly recommend Ravenna Painting when you are looking for the highest quality of both product and performance. read more

I am one of those home owners who has painted my own house and know what is required to do a good job. Ravenna Painting was recommend by two home owner friends and I as knew both to be unaccepting of anything but good quality work, I contacted Oliver to get an estimate and appraisal of the job. His estimate was satisfactory, but he pointed out some siding water damage, which he felt required repair and an additional estimate when he determined the repair required. Oliver began work within a week and always had a crew working whether on the preparation or painting. As promised he determined the additional costs for the siding repair which were most satisfactory and the work was very good. I give an unconditional recommendation for Oliver and Ravenna Painting Sid S. read more

We couldn't be happier with the excellent job done by Ravenna Painting on the outside and inside of our home. The interior has lots of molding and they did a meticulous job. They often worked 12 hour days and then came back to help move planters and furniture back into place!! read more

We just had an excellent experience with Ravenna Painting. Oliver was really responsive and easy to work with and squeezed us in while the weather held. Orlin and his crew were great and took special care with our 100 year old craftsman house (including making sure the double hung windows didn't get painted shut). They cleaned up at the end of everyday and the house looks like new. We highly recommend them! read more

Ravenna Painting just finished painting the west side of my home in Wedgwood. I couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding job Oliver and his crew did on a very difficult structure. The side painted is west facing, three stories with extremely difficult ladder placements. The home is a mid-century modern architects design that had not been painted on that side for nearly 20 years. Ravenna Painting made a 60 year old house that was definitely showing wear and age into a home that looks new. From the get go, Oliver explained in detail what would be done. As the company that had supplied the last paint had gone out of business, he diligently researched color matching. It is a perfect match. His crew was on site for three days. They were so considerate of my wife and I as occupants and the delicate nature of the condition and age of the siding. They thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. I could go on with superlatives regarding Ravenna Painting. I would recommend them to anyone needing a quality painting job. Suffice it to say they care about a quality product. I will definitely use them again for succeeding jobs. read more
