Ez's crew did a great job painting our 25 year old oak kitchen cabinets. They masked the inside of the cabinets, we didn't have to remove anything from the cabinets, and tented the room so no sanding dust got into the rest of the house. They prepped and sanded, primed and put 2 coats of paint on the cabinets. They turned out smooth and beautiful. They painted the walls and ceiling and cleaned everything up when they finished. I will definitely have them do any painting that I need done. I didn't include pictures because I am having new doors and drawers built and they are not ready yet. read more

I needed to get the trim on my house painted or get a fine from my Home Owners Association. I am a disabled veteran and not able to paint the trim with all the odd roof sections on the 2nd story. I called on a Wednesday, accepted the quote and the next day the job was done fast, professionally, and to a very high standard. They scraped and prepped the surfaces and caulked all the gaps in the wood and around the windows. We were in the process of putting our home up for sale and the realtor told us last minute that the color for the shake on our house needed to be changed. I did the typical YELP deal and cast a broad net and got several bids to get the job done. We had about a week to get the work done. I think that a lot of the other companies saw that and jacked their prices up because of the urgency. Bids were all over the place and there was a gap of almost $2,000 from the lowest bidder to the highest bidder. I ultimately decided to go with Ez because the price was one I was comfortable paying, he was very communicative and above all else professional. Kept in contact and responded to questions promptly. The day of the job I had to leave for the day but met Ez and his crew before I had to go. He was just as professional and courteous in person as he had been through text and yelp messages so it immediately made me confident that this job was going to be done fast and be done right. My wife was home during the painting and she has told me that every time she went outside, Ez and the rest of his crew were always quick to greet her and treated her with a ton of respect. And I'll tell you, that goes a long way with me. The job they did turned out way better than I had hoped for and we will DEFINITELY be working with them (and only them) in the future for all of our painting needs. From the time of the initial bid to completion of the exterior project, EZ's was always professional. They have a hard working crew and are very receptive to the customers needs or concerns. We had a dull original construction paint job and I wanted to bring my home to life with vibrancy and gloss. We learned some things along the way (like not using silicone caulking around windows because the paint won't adhere). EZ really takes the time to explain things to the customer and is attentive to sensitive items attached to our home. EZ takes great pride in his company, has high expectations for his crew and is very meticulous with post project inspection. We had a few touch up areas that were attended to without question. I had them paint the interior of my home. There were very accommodating of my schedule, always came on time, and left on time. However, when it comes to the quality of the paint job, it is not impressive at all. Here are a few areas where they lacked in professionalism and quality: (1) They did not properly cover the furniture and floors when spray painting the doors and trims. Now, I have a fine mist of paint on most of my furniture and floors. (2) They did either no or bare minimum prep work. With the exception of a big holes, all the other holes were not filled. They did not even bothered to remove the spider webs in the corners and painted over them. There was one area where we had some pizza sauce stuck on the wall. They did not clean at all and just painted over it. Now, I have these bumps on the wall which do not look nice. Zero stars on prep work. (3) In almost every room, there are many areas where they did not a second coat of paint. And even the first coat was so thin that the original paint is visible. Also, in some of the rooms, it looks like they didn't do the second coat at all. And finally, they did not paint the crown moldings at all! I was not expecting this from paint professionals. (4) They completely miscalculated the how to pace their work. About 50% of the paint job was left for the last day. They hurried into completing, did a bad job, and this reflects in the final quality of the paint. (5) There were countless areas which needed touchup. I would tell them every day what needed to be fixed, and they would always say that they are going to fix it the last day. The last day, they were in a hurry and only touched up less than half the spots. And when they left and the paint dried, touch up was worse than the original job. Now, it looks like I'll have to do all the touch ups myself. Overall, I did not had a good experience working with Ez's Paining. read more
