I have been using them for years, both residential and commercial. I asked them to come out and paint of small section of siding off of my roof. When getting the estimate they noticed my chimney box was rotting and needed to be replaced. They gave me an estimate for everything and I signed it the same day. They came out and did my chimney box and touched up one other place but did not paint the area. I initially called them out for. When I asked when they were coming out, they said that they were done. I had to send them pictures and argue with them that it was not done. They also did not use a gutter protector when they put the ladder against my gutter. They had to come out twice to fix that. I think they have gotten too big. I should not have to waste my time to follow up. read more

PAID NEARLY $2000 DEPOSIT THEN THE DAY BEFORE WORK WAS TO START EMAILED US THAT WE DO NOT WANT "CANCELTHE CONTRACT". I FINALLY RECIVED THE DEPOSIT AFTER FILING A BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINT. NO APOLOGIES GIVEN. RUDE! All Covered Painting decided they wanted to "cancel the contract" the day before work was to start even though we had signed a contract and paid the 30% deposit. I have never had a contractor cancel a contract on me or be involved in disputes. I requested to upgrade paint, after calling the local Sherwin-Williams paint dealer asking about All Covered Painting contractor prices. it worked out to be double the difference. When I questioned Rich the Project manager about the price. His response was "you can pay for the upgrade or we will cancel the contract". They also wanted me to sign another contract with the upgraded price, and have the full balance due, not subtracting the deposit. That would have left me with 2 contracts,the original and the one with the upgrade and 2 fuil balances due that only I sign. The original contract did not reflect the balance already paid. They don't sign their contracts. I felt this was a bit suspicious and the ulimatum about the upgrade sounded to me like extortion. There was some communications back and forth that left me feeling disrespected and bullied and harassed. Questions about when I was to recieve payment and in what form that payment was were not answered directly in a way that I felt they did not intend to return the deposit. One of the responses from the owner contained personal attack on my character and how I don't want to know the details of their project manager's (Rich's) personal problems, of which he described in detail. What does this have to do with the refund? The entire misunderstanding about the paint prices could have been handled in a swift and professional manner. It is not the customer's problem that the project manager had a bad day because his girlfriend threatened to leave him the day the paint price was questioned. This was outlined in the owner's email mentioned above and was one of the reason given for the cancellation. It was the project manager's decision to cancel according to the owner. The owner said he had a "bad day". They were very rude to me. The decided to cancel the contract before they even know I write reviews. Their excuse that about their decision was made BEFORE any review came to play. This review was written after they cancelled. It seemed more personal. I was very upset about the waste of time and had a migraine for 2 days because of their interaction. Just HORRIBLE! After filing the Better Business Bureau complaint, I received a five page cease and desist letter from their attorney that I remove this review and the Angies List or be sued. The letter among other things accused me of making false accusation to the Better Business Bureau, and my credit card company WOW! and that they were going to forward the letter to the review sites. Sounds like they are on a campaign to ruin my reputation This companies responses to honest reviews have been an aggressive campaign of posting malicous lies to ruin my character and reputation. They have tried and some cases successfully posted identifying information I believe this in retaliation for filing a BBB complaint against them. Ironically it feel like they are doing what they accused me of doing by posting a two page rant of malicous lies on some other private review site as a response to my review as well as making untrue disparaging remarks here on Yelp. This has been the most horrible experience I have ever had to deal with any company. read more

All Covered Painting represents themselves as high-end painters (West Bellevue, WA), but they are anything but that. The owner is extremely arrogant/rude and is more interested in talking over you then listening to your concerns. They got overspray on everything including many of our fixtures. We specifically requested that they tarp the roof so that paint did not get on the wood shakes and although they stated they would, they did not and our roof is full of paint droppings. They even sprayed over spider webs (responding that the spiders created the webs faster then they could clean them off to paint)? Their response to us nicely informing them about the overspray was for us to get some goof off and remove the overspray ourselves? When we insisted, they send some of the original crew back that were extremely angry and rude and even then they only did a few places. We paid them 50% initially and then another 25%, informing them that the final 25% would be paid when the overspray was cleaned up. Their response was to have their attorney send us a letter demanding payment. We even recommended them to some friends, which we now regret. read more

Contacted via Yelp for painting. Was informed ahead of time they were more expensive because of "excellent service and work" and I had to "pay" for that extra quality. Rich W came for an estimate on a Thursday after rescheduling with a family issue. He was pleasant on the walk through said I would have an estimate by Friday or Monday at the latest. I contacted him after a week of no response by email asking him where it was and about this "supposed" excellent service. He finally responded and said he was "sorry" but since I had already been let down he wasn't going to provide an estimate. They wasted my time from work, 2.5 hours, my time in general and provided zero follow through. Found a respected contractor the next day. Do not use this company. read more

I hired All Covered Painting to paint my kitchen, family room, bedroom, bathroom, two hallways, and entryway/staircase, as well as to repair minor woodpecker damage to my soffit. Cost with tax was about $5200. It was approximately two weeks from the day I called to request a bid to the day I sent in the check. The actual painting took three full days, which was actually a day less than originally estimated. The crew was conscientious of covering my floors and taking care with any furniture they moved. I loved working with this company! They are very professional, honest, and patient. They repainted the majority of my interior of my Mercer Island Home. Rich was wonderful in helping me as I had difficulty with picking colors. They were also patient as my three young sons were always asking questions and in the way. we tend to be a little detail oriented and had a 1200 sq ft. condo that needed to have trim and walls painted. I'm happy with the work they did on our place. We have a lot of wood cedar siding on our place and it had gotten pretty dull and dark from the water and sun. Rich came over and gave us estimates. Restoring it to the natural wood with transparent stain would be very expensive, so I appreciate that he gave us different types of stains options and explained it very clearly. We went with a semi-solid stain, even though you lose the natural wood look, but it lasts longer and costs a lot less. He sent us to the paint shops to look for colors and then he came over again and showed us what the stain wood look like on real wood. This helped a lot since we were hesitant about going with semi-solid. Their work is dependent on dry days so we were super patient and flexible. We were happy with the end result. There was a couple things that needed to be touched up, but they took care of it and that matters a lot. About 6 mths after we noticed an issue and they still came back out and fixed it entirely because they guarantee their work. Rich was always very responsive and kind to us. read more

I selected All Covered Painting based on their positive reviews on Yelp. Their estimate was not the lowest but definitely not the highest either. Anyway, I believe I received very good value for my money. Rich was very prompt in getting back to me about my estimate. His estimate was reasonable and easy to understand. Even though it was approaching his busiest time of the year. they were able to get me on their schedule in a reasonable time. We started the project on time and it was completed on time. The crew leader Jashua was very prompt & kept his crew diligently working on the job during the three days that it took to complete the project. My project consisted of painting a very high cathedral ceiling, my upstairs office, living & dining room and much of my downstairs. They did a great job and were very open to comments and requests. They showed an excellent work ethic, a willingness to please and were very easy to work with. I was very impressed with how well the project went and how willing they were to get the job done right. Finding a good contractor can be a real challenge and All Covered Painting is a very good contractor. I would be very willing to have future work performed by this company. I needed a ceiling skim coated to cover thick 70's texturing. It's a horrible job. I know because I've done it in other parts of the house. They gave me a terrific estimate much less than other places. Rich was very friendly and nice and listened to my concerns about my rescue birds and the sanding. They came when they said they would and the person doing the actual work was Nain and he was so conscientious. He was very worried about not getting it perfect because of trying to keep the sanding to a minimum. I was the one that had to say it was done. He would have kept at it. It was a hard job to cover that texturing without sanding! The ceiling looks great, the birds are healthy, they were friendly, they threw in the priming for no extra cost, and the estimate was exactly the final price. read more

We had the exterior of our house painted and stained by All Covered Painting. We were contacted immediately after leaving a message with All Covered Painting. Rich came out very quickly to give us an estimate. We had a couple estimates done, but All Covered was the cheapest and had the best time frame as well. Once we signed a contract, Rich kept us informed as to when painting would begin. Workers arrived on time every morning and worked all day. They were friendly and very easy to work with. Rich emailed a couple times during the job to make sure that everything was going well. We had a couple questions along the way and they were answered quickly. We were told to call them if we found any spots that needed touch up - and they assured us numerous times that they would come out and fix them (though we haven't found any issues!). Had All Covered Painting do our home interior. They did overall a great job and were very thorough, efficient and careful. The only negative is that there are a few spots where they had placed or leaned furniture back against the wall before the paint was completely dry - and we later discovered this damaged the paint and will need to be retouched. Working with Rich and All Covered Painting was a terrific experience! I had them come in and paint virtually the entire interior of my home BEFORE I had a major kitchen remodel. Then, afterwards, I had them come out to paint my bathroom cabinets and complete some misc odd jobs. These guys are professional with a capitol P. We changed the scope of our project several times before the job started and they were incredibly patient with us updating the estimate multiple times and coming by our house more than once to assess the additional requests. I used All Covered Painting recently and all I can say is AMAZING!!! I am an apartment manager for a smaller building and wanted to get work done in the off season. Because of scheduling I had to do a lot of emailing and every email I sent was responded back in a timely manner with scheduling updates, oh and get this all my questions were answered with each email! I was told my building would take three days and would start at 8am each day , it is important to have accurate information because I always need to relay information to tenants. Each day the crew showed up about a quarter to 8 with smiles on their faces and did not start until exactly 8am. Each day they finished work at an appropriate hour and cleaned up any mess around the grounds. Building was finished on day three and there was no mess on the grounds around the building. I am beyond impressed with the quality of work, they matched the buildings colors perfectly, no paint on the windows, even paint distribution. I had the exterior trim repainted in July, 2016, and now a month later it still looks perfect. Rich assessed the job to be done and was the only contractor that noticed the rotted wood that needed to be replaced. His own crew replaced the wood. He did not subcontract this carpentry work to someone else. He was one of four painters that I interviewed and his bid was in the middle. The work was excellent. Please note that exterior painting is seasonal so there can be a wait to be put on the schedule. I waited 1 month and this is normal. So plan ahead to get on the schedule of any painter that you hire. All Covered Painting also offers discounts on any interior painting done in the last couple months of the year.
