We had a great experience with Coast to Coast Painting, would give them 10 stars if I could. Lewis was great to work with, answered all our questions and was very responsive throughout the project. Sam did an amazing job with our remodeling and his attention to detail really stood out. Their setup and cleanup were immaculate, and even with both of us working from home and a toddler in the house, our day was never disrupted. They were respectful of our space and did a great job. We're really happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend them to all of our friends and family. read more

We recently had the interior of our home painted, including extensive custom cabinetry, windows, doors, and ceilings--and the results are absolutely stunning. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and professional. Lewis, the owner, was communicative, organized, and clearly takes great pride in the quality of work his team delivers. Miguel and Alfredo handled the actual painting, and their attention to detail was exceptional. They were thoughtful, thorough, and incredibly respectful of our home. Every corner, edge, and surface was treated with care. The finish work on our cabinetry in particular is flawless. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and wholeheartedly recommend Coast to Coast to anyone looking for high-quality, professional interior painting. We're looking forward to using them again for another large project later this year! read more

Our contractor highly recommended Coast to Coast for our exterior painting and she was right on! Lewis got in touch right away. He was professional and transparent when discussing the expectations for timing, scope of work, budget, and logistics, and he sent a top-notch crew led by Miguel. The site crew was friendly, efficient, and highly skilled. Their attention to the prep work was exceptional and made for an outstanding finished product. Coast to Coast did a fantastic job on some interior paint work they completed in my home. I was referred to them by a designer I was working with and they were friendly, clean, and meticulous with the details. They were very conscientious about trying to minimize the disruption to our home as much as possible and the work they did was very detailed and looked great! We were very happy with their work and the price was competitive with other quotes we received as well. read more

Coast to Coast Painting was an absolute pleasure to work with. We had some damage and some clean up from a job that someone else had done for us previously. They came out, took a look at our place and after a walk-through, they were able to put together a reasonable bid in a timely fashion. They were punctual, pleasant, professional and did a fantastic job. The place looks great. The invoice is exactly what we discussed and their follow up and payment processes are extremely easy. It is easy to recommend this company. read more

Lewis runs an incredible operation. We've used Coast to Coast twice in the past year to repaint our entire home (interior in the Winter and exterior in the Summer). Most recently we painted the exterior. His team (Miguel and Alfredo) was super respectful of our house and landscaping at all times, worked hard, quietly, left things immaculate every day and did all-round outstanding work. In our case, we had some pretty bad paint peeling on our exterior brick and basement exterior wall issues that the team took extra care to hand scrape, prime and prep ahead of time. In fact, they spent just as much time prepping our house as they did painting it, which shows their attention to detail. We made several changes during the project (color and layout decisions) and Lewis was happy to accommodate to make us happy. Lewis and his office are fantastic communicators too. We got a very detailed quote that laid out all the prep costs, material costs and labor costs, and it was easy to understand. I'd recommend to anyone, no questions asked, and will absolutely hire again when the time comes. They really care about what they do, take their time to do it perfectly and leave your home immaculate. The value is absolutely there. read more

We recently had Coast to Coast paint the exterior of our house and we are very happy with the work. Lewis was easy to work with and kept us updated throughout the project. Sam and Derik were the main painters working on the house and they were punctual and professional. They spent more time prepping the house than they did painting, and we could clearly see their attention to detail. They did some minor carpentry repairs as well. They cleaned up everything really well, which was definitely appreciated. They weren't the cheapest quote, but they stuck to budget and we got a high quality job. We have already recommended them to others and would for sure use them again! read more

Great to work with and a meticulous team. They really took their time to make everything look as perfect as possible for an older home and went the extra mile by helping install some new lighting fixtures and finding a paint to match some mortar on the fireplace. Lewis is highly communicative and involved which makes all the difference. read more

Coast to Coast did a GREAT job. Listened to my needs regarding the work I needed done, along with my budget, showed up on time, did thorough prep work, cleaned up thoroughly afterward, and the finished product looked wonderful. I've already recommended them to tothers. They're also just nice folks! read more

Lewis and his team did a great job painting our home to get it ready to sell. They were on time and professional.

Lewis and the entire Coast to Coast team are the best! I hired them to paint the entire interior of my 100+-year-old Craftsman home and I'd hire them again in a heartbeat! Great service, communication, and attention to detail from initial consultation and planning appointments through prep and finish painting. It feels like a new home and I've received so many compliments on the work! I highly recommend this kind and talented team. read more

We had the outside of our house painted by Lewis and his superb crew Miguel and Alfredo this past summer. The job was complex as we had an upper deck being rebuilt at the same time. This required close coordination with our contractor. We were so impressed with every part of the process. Excellent communication and coordination, careful workmanship and often going an extra mile to make the job as easy on us as home owners as possible. We had to replace some deck boards un-expectantly on one deck being painted The boards were an unusual size. Lewis had to search a number of lumbar suppliers to find just the right width, hand picking them at that supplier. Painting that deck also required moving a heavy table, too heavy for us, over a side rail to the ground level until the paint dried. Miguel and Alfredo made an extra trip in the late afternoon to come by well after the job was finished to hoist the table back onto our deck to make everything just perfect. We thoroughly recommend this company for its accurate estimates, great communication, beautiful craftsmanship and easy of relationship. Couldn't hope for a better company to do your house painting. 5-stars all around. read more

Lewis and his crew did a fabulous job painting most of the interior of my house! Coast to Coast will be my go-to painters from now on. One of the things I appreciated most was the excellent communication - what was happening, when, and resolving any issues that came up. The crew was meticulous, efficient, friendly, professional and incredibly good at what they do. They went above and beyond to fix a couple trouble spots. I was so pleased to find Coast to Coast painting and very impressed with the talent and care in their work! read more

We needed almost out entire interior house repainted and Lewis was great to work with on prioritizing our needs. His team is friendly, fast, and provides high quality work. They don't just paint but will repair wall imperfections as they go. They even finished earlier than expected. I will be using them again. read more

We couldn't be more thrilled with the work of Coast to Coast Painting, who painted all of the interior walls of our condo. Lewis and his team are highly professional, friendly and responsive, and the entire project was done on time and on budget. They made the planning very easy, and even sent us updates and photos during the project while we were away. The place looks terrific, and they have made themselves available for any touch ups required (there are none -- they were very thorough!). I couldn't recommend them enough! read more

I am a Contractor in Seattle and have used Coast to Coast Painting for the last 5 years. They do quality work, and are very professional. They stick to their original pricing, use top quality products, show up on time, and clean up after themselves. I have used them for exteriors, kitchens, big additions, and complete interiors. The work was great each time. The owner pays close attention to each job, and is always available for questions or followup. read more

Coast to Coast painted the exterior of my 70+-year-old cinderblock home in Shoreline. They were an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Communicative and professional, and the work was meticulously done. I never knew my house could look this good! Lewis even worked with me when I wasn't able to schedule a window replacement before the paint job, and had someone come back and paint that area after the other work was done. I will go straight to Coast to Coast for any future painting work I need. read more

Coast to Coast came through again with another excellent job. They are very responsive and exceed expectations on time, cost and quality. They were able to refresh several rooms in my 20 year old home with varying degrees of challenges. The rooms look brand new! It is amazing what they can do to repair and restore. I can't say enough about the team and really appreciate their diligence and support. read more

I have used Coast to Coast painting on several projects, including my personal residence and rental property. Lewis and his team are professionals. They are genuine nice people, clean up everyday, and the paint looks great now 8 yrs later. Being a home inspector I see bad painters everyday. Painters cutting corners trying to go to fast, use inferior products, or just not taping off correctly so there's overspray everywhere. You will not get this from Coast to Coast. They use top quality paints, finishes, with an eye for detail, leaving your home looking amazing. Lewis's expertise shows through with his quality crew and finished product. Our most recent paint job was particularly difficult as we had a small child in the house. Not only did they make sure everything was always safe they used paints with zero VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) so I knew it was safe for our family. I not only refer Lewis and his great team to my clients I also use him on my own home. Your house is an investment...make a smart one hire Lewis and Coast to Coast Painting Plus. read more

Lewis was great to work with and so was the staff. They painted the majority of our interior walls and we are happy with the results. They were straight to business but friendly. We were still in the house while they painted but we were able to keep out of each other's way. We will be connecting with them again for future projects. read more

Coast to Coast Painting painted the exterior of my home in 2006 and I am just about ready to have Lewis come out and check the condition. The exterior still looks good to me but I trust Lewis's professional eye more than my own. Lewis and his crew also painted my master bedroom, kitchen and dinning room. They did a wonderful job. I'm now ready to have them come back and paint the living room. I trust Lewis to give me great advise, an honest quote and superior service. read more

I'm moving into a larger office, and I wanted to give it some character and warmth. Lewis and his crew did an amazing job! From the initial assessment, to the same-day quote, to connecting me with a color expert, to the final paint job and cleanup, the process with Coast to Coast has been flawless. And the most important part? The paint job itself looks incredible. The colors are amazing, the application is perfect and clean, and the cleanup was so thorough that I think the office was cleaner when they were done than when they started! Overall, I could not be more impressed. Highly recommend! read more

We had Lewis Johnson and one of his crews from Coast to Coast Painting in to spiff up our woodwork and cabinetry. Miguel and Alfredo were friendly, respectful and professional...and, their work is impeccable--we're thrilled! I highly recommend Coast to Coast painting! read more

We very much enjoyed working with Lewis and his crew. We felt like they really took the time to paint our house (two weeks); their attention to detail was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, professional, accessible and responsive to our concerns. We met with several contractors before choosing Coast to Coast, and it wasn't a surprise that C to C came recommended to us by a neighbor. It won't be your cheapest quote, especially if you're choosing a service that is EPA-certified to deal with lead paint. But the price was worth avoiding all hassle and having it done right. Several neighbors, including people we didn't know, asked us who painted our home and took down C to C's information, that's how impressive the transformation was. read more

We had an awesome experience with Lewis and the team at Coast to Coast Painting. We hired Coast to Coast to do some high detail interior painting including our bannister and a built-in bookshelf (as well as some walls and ceilings) and the results were stunning. The crew was professional and courteous, the bid was very reasonable (especially considering the quality of work), and the work was completed on time and on budget. They even gave us a small discount for doing the project in the off season. We'll definitely be hiring Coast to Coast for all of our future projects -- you just can't go wrong. read more

I have recently used Coast to Coast Painting for an interior project. They were referred to me by an acquaintance. I was very impressed by their level of professionalism, from the time of bid to the very end of the job. I did receive two other bids and decided to go with them because they were much more descriptive and detailed in their "scope of work", even though their bid wasn't the lowest. I felt I knew exactly what was going to take place and for how long. They were really easy to work with and went out of their way to make the project as non-obtrusive to our daily life and as comfortable for us as possible. I would leave for work and come home to a clean, freshly painted room -- that looked magnificent. They maintained an orderly work site and cleaned up every day. The owner Lewis, made sure things were running smoothly and made sure I was updated with the progress. Ultimately, I was super happy by the results and the whole process was smooth sailing. Lewis and his crew are serious about what they do and it shows in their work. I was really impressed and would give them the highest recommendation. read more

Sorry not worth the price or hype. They are overcommitted and overpriced. Not entirely professional either - keep looking.

Lewis and his team were communicative, on time, friendly, considerate, and did excellent work. They accommodated my building's elevator and owners' association rules with great attitudes. When they finished my interior job (ahead of schedule), they cleaned so well I could hardly tell they'd been there. Professional through and through. If they cost more than others, they're WELL worth it! read more

Coast to Coast painted my office about six weeks ago and did a 1st class job. I liked it so much that I since then had them paint the interior of my home in Shoreline. I am very impressed with the care that they took to cover the hardwoods and clean up, I couldn't even tell they had been there except the walls look brand new! Thanks to Lewis, Dave, and the whole Coast to Coast team! read more

The Coast to Coast team was easy to work with and did an amazing job! I contacted Lewis in April 2017 to paint the interior of our townhouse before selling it. Lewis responded to my request in just a few hours. The estimate was very competitive, thorough, and accurate. Lewis was flexible with dates when we needed to start a few days earlier than originally planned. They painted interior walls and trim in 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and heavily trafficked stairways with tall walls. They also painted our front door, and made it look SO GOOD that we noticed flaws from earlier work (Coast to Coast is so awesome, they offered to fix up the poor job done by someone else 9 years ago). They completed the work quickly and with great care! They will be my first call when we need painting done in our new home. read more

We could not be happier with Coast to Coast Painting! We had a complete interior paint job completed two years ago, prior to our moving into our new place. The entire process was handled long-distance as we'd yet to move to Seattle. The end-product was flawless, so we, of course, turned to Lewis and his crew to complete an exterior paint job last month. Lewis's color sense and the crew's meticulous approach worked magic on our 1909 Craftsman's exterior. Especially appreciated was everyone's patience as we decided on colors and dealt with small changes in the paint scheme. The crew was professional, meticulous, personable, and always hard at work. We can't say enough positive things about Coast to Coast Paining! They are worth their weight in gold! read more

I am completely happy with Coast to Coast Painting. They did an excellent job painting and also an excellent job of communicating with me on a daily basis. I was kept informed if their progress to date as well as what they intended to complete the next day. Lewis is always available by phone but it was not necessary as the lead on our job was Phil who kept me informed all day. They also did an excellent of accommodating a change in the scope of the work caused by the actions of another subcontractor on the job. They also went out of their way to accommodate my special requests. They are easy and enjoyable to work with. I highly recommend them. Barbara Asaka read more

Luis and his crew at Coast to Coast did my bathroom about 7 years ago. I had lost track of him until I saw his name pop up in my facebook feed. I should have written this long ago. Amazing work. I can say that as the paint job is still clean, crisp, and most importantly in a bathroom mold free. The bathroom has become the primary bathroom for the kids and for it to hold up to 3 kids worth of abuse speaks to their workmanship. Very impressed and glad to have reconnected. read more
