Scope was to replace drywall, paint and texture match, install new PVC baseboards and caulk everything. Price was very reasonable for the amount of work around which was 14 sqft and drywall and 12 linear feet of trim replacement. I keep buckets of paint for all the paint used in the house so matching was easy. The drywall work and paint work was superb, absolutely zero complaints it looks like it never happened. Comparing Fast Patch crew's work to the guys who did the bathroom originally makes the original folk's look like toddlers. Fast Patch made very precise cuts for cutouts and didn't need to slap on mud to fill huge holes. I was very impressed with the attention to detail. I know it sounds small but you'd be surprised... I did ask them to caulk the baseboards to the floor and that didn't go so great. I get there can be some weirdness when caulking across a grout line so I expect imperfections in those areas, but the person left the tape used to square the caulk for over an 1 hour on the floor so when it was removed it ripped the caulk and lifted the seal from the floor and ripped out many tiny sections so the gap still exists. So it will need to be all scraped out and redone to get a good seal. In their defense they are a drywall company so not sure if my complaint is too valid, but it does mean more work for me immediately after the repair. If I need a drywall or paint job in a more isolated place i.e. middle of wall ceiling I would 100% use again.

You know how some companies are so good that you hesitate to post how great they really are because…read moreyou don't want them to get 'too busy' kind of in a selfish way? These guys are that good! I had the chance to work with Snohomish Handyman (Pete and Mark) for three different projects. Project 1-this was our "get to know you" project. I had taken our cedar sauna apart as part of a home project, and had gingerly taken the cedar bits out so that the sauna could be rebuilt. Well, Pete and Mark didn't just put our sauna back together. It was craftsmanship at its best. One would never know that it had ever been taken apart. They even assisted with a design feature improving on my suggestion(s). Project 2-so after our great success with Project 1 I asked Pete if he would help with a list of 'things' that needed doing around our house. Some of these were basic like repairing sink stoppers, installing doorknobs, etc. The biggest of Project 2 was to rebuild our garbage slide in the kitchen which required the mechanical part to be removed from the cabinetry, a new platform built to support the sliding mechanism, and then reinstalling of the mechanism on the new support piece. When Pete did the reinstall, he made several significant improvements that improve things overall. Project 3-Pete and Mark successfully replaced several pieces of fascia on our 30-year-old Lindal solid cedar home, that over the years had started to degrade at the ends. (I think many homeowners are familiar with this phenomenon.) Pete was able to successfully source the necessary high-grade cedar in a very difficult market (pricing, yikes!). They stained the cedar prior to its installation, which meant at least two days of curing. They then installed the fascia board and edging in the areas to be replaced. But they didn't stop there. Pete and Mark custom crafted copper coverage for each piece they replaced. This repair was executed with diligence and expertise, and was beyond the scope of many other crafts people I've spoken with. Note the breadth of the work they completed our residence? They executed repairs of the simple stuff with the same degree of care and attention to detail as they did all the big stuff. They have a broad range of capabilities and expertise and are friendly and easy to work with. I found their pricing model straightforward. So, what's the best part? These are honest, trustworthy, hard-working folks who really want to do a good job for you! So let's keep them busy... But remember, not too busy as we still have a bunch of projects that need completing :-)

I was really hoping to avoid damaging the concrete, and Pete came up with a great solution to leave the existing pipe imbedded in the wall, remove the post only, and buy posts that had the core drilled out to put back on to the pipe. This alone saved a considerable amount of time and money in my project and more than paid for his services! Further, he took my really rough drawings and helped improve the design to make it stronger, and had all the expertise to execute the build to a high standard! In the end, I ended up with a fence that looked WAY better than I ever dreamed! I can't recommend Pete enough: he produced excellent work, was willing to teach me (and my curious kiddos!), and was one of the most professional and nicest handymen I've ever hired. I certainly won't hesitate to call him for any other projects that I have coming up.

Like many other Handy-person companies have begun doing in the last five years or so, they impose a minimum time limit to ensure a minimum service fee. I required several basic repairs around my residence, which necessitated the use of a ladder, screws, and a screw anchor. One repair was time-sensitive, and the company initially offered immediate repairs but suggested returning a few weeks later due to them being booked up. This approach was reasonable and appreciated. However, after further communication with the company, I discovered for the time sensitive repair, they required a $250 deposit prior to any work starting, and would charge their minimum two-hour fee of $300. The job involved simply reattaching one side of an outdoor sun shade, resulting in an estimated total of $820.85 for all of the repairs. As a homeowner I've had several estimates and repairs completed by Handy-person services over the last few decades, but this one has to be the most unreasonable. In contrast, I contacted another Handy-person service company today that arrived at my residence within 30 minutes of my initial contact.They provided an on-site estimate and completed all the necessary repairs in a single hour. The total cost was $110.50, which included tax. This experience met my expectations. The service was reasonably priced, and the handyman was professional and skilled. I now have established a go-to handyman who I can build a lengthy business relationship, year after year. It is unacceptable to ask customers to pay for labor before the work is completed. Materials may be charged, but labor should not be. So glad I found this new Handyman service company. I will definitely be leaving a positive review for them.

Of course it would have to be the day the snow arrived but Dewall were bang on time he is a one man band just him and his tools. At 9.00am he set to work and was done by 10.30. The workmanship of the…read morefinished deck exceeded our expectations, and every person we encountered was pleasant to work with. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

I was a bit of a skeptic with all the glowing reviews but figured, let give him a shot and like many other customers, I couldn't be happier with this decision. Gabriel stands by his work and goes above and beyond with customer service. For exterior house painting, his bid came in competitive and he indicated he would provide 2 coats of paint. As we walked around the house I was impressed by all the items he was calling out that they would take care of after pressure washing and for prep along with his attention to detail. When they showed up to do the work, I provided input on a few things just to make sure that it wouldn't be missed during prep and they always said sure, we'll take care of it without hesitation. Gabriel even helped me understand their process further and explained a few things to me, which I appreciated. During the final walk through, I already marked a handful of small things with tape (inevitably there will always be a few touchups and polishing touches needed) and Gabriel was quick to add more blue tape for items that he would fix. The house looks amazing and I get lots of compliments from neighbors. I will continue to use and refer High Quality Painting, LLC.

Here's why: - Vitaliy was exceptionally clear, punctual, and spoke in facts (he was not at all sales-y). - He did what he said he'd do (call me back, or prepare an estimate) when he said he'd do it. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. Their communication and the quality of their work is exceptional. Hire these folks!

They even sanded and refinished my cedar soffits. The quality was fantastic. While they were out, my neighbor was impressed and asked for a quote as well. They will likely do their house too the following week. I'll definitely recommend ERC painting to anyone who needs a painting contractor.

Used him again for a different kind of job - replacing an in-wall air-conditioner. He was very good…read moreat responding to text messages, worked us in quickly, and was flexible when Home Depot delayed our order. He was also very good at fitting the new AC into the space for the old one and ensuring it was sealed and weather proofed. However, when he finished the work, he left large boxes and packing materials scattered where he opened them and filling our kitchen floor and on the dining room table. He didn't do anything to organize the mess or break down the boxes. He said most of it was recyclable and he wouldn't do anything with it. Left us to clean up after he left and figure out how to manage and get rid of these large heavy boxes. Additionally, he had put the old AC on our deck. We asked if he would recycle the old AC and he agreed - charging us an additional $200 to take it. When he put it on our deck, it left piles of black (not sure what) that we had to clean after he left. Additionally, I had purchased a new bracket to support the new air-conditioner. He decided without consulting me to use the old bracket instead. (Hopefully it last for the long run!)

Sam and Shaun are the best to work with. They are very friendly, responsive, informative with awesome delivery! I got a rooftop I had never taken care of and had no idea where to start. They gave me multiple options I could choose from with a thorough explanation. They did not just simply impose a single option to check the box. They were looking at the project from both the short term and the long term and provided me an option that saves money and is beneficial to the rooftop deck in long run. Sam and Shaun are very responsive to my request and questions. Without having to schedule an estimate trip weeks later, they were able to give me rough quotes and thorough plans based on a few pictures. Then, they scheduled the cleaning immediately for the next few days. When they came over, they thoroughly checked if there is any additional work required. Everything went very quickly and smoothly. The project finished way earlier than my expectation with high quality without any surprise or unexpected. I recently hired North Cascades Painting and Handyman to do several projects at my home. They included: cleaning and painting soffits above the 2nd story; staining a previously bare cedar fence that had algae etc. which first had to removed by cleaning agents and pressure washing; carefully sanding and applying several coats of marine varnish to the exterior of my front door and door frame, sanding between each coat; coming up with a solution to an 18" high transition from a terrace to the ground level within a narrow property line space that enabled wheelbarrows etc. to easily transition between the 2 levels; and finally, replacing a section of rotting wood on an exterior garage door frame. North Cascades did an outstanding job On every task!! The care and planning each task that Nick took was evident in the results achieved. I've used painting companies and handyman service's at 2 other homes I've owned in other NW counties, and North Cascades Painting and Handyman has been by far the best I've ever hired, as evidenced by the fact this is the first review I've ever written. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! They painted my condo (walls, doors, and baseboard) and repaired and patched my walls and ceiling. I hired Sam and Shaun to paint a condo I had recently bought. They would be the last team coming after we had our floors replaced. Unfortunately, there was a delay in the floor delivery date, which impacted the painting start date. They took such good care of my brand new flooring, masking all the rooms up before anything else, which I sincerely appreciate. They also took on extra tasks during the project (such as repairing walls, ceiling, and baseboard). They are knowledgeable, responsive, and pay attention to every detail. I'm already hiring them again to paint my cabinets and repair water damage caused by a burst pipe in the apartment upstairs. I wouldn't trust anyone else but them for this job. read more

Special details: When NCP came to do the estimate, we noticed a siding shingle dangling near the roof. They not only took the time (7 work days) to do a lot of detail oriented work like cleaning, sanding and repairing with great patience, but also good at communicating ensuring any of our concerns are addressed promptly. I've used Sam a couple of times now and the work is always excellent. I was originally referred to him by the company who installed my new doors, and when I told one of the door installers that Sam would be doing the painting, he said "Oh good, Sam does great work". Talk about a ringing endorsement. I had a bunch of small painting jobs I needed done in addition to the doors, and Sam treated them all with the same attention to detail. Our neighbors recommended North Coast Painting to us and we used them to re stain our deck. They did an amazing job! When they were sanding, they noticed some boards were rotting and they showed us, and told us they could replace the boards which they did. They also upgraded the stain using a very nice product. Chris's estimate was right in the very fair middle area and he lived up to every agreed-upon term and completed things in a timely fashion working with the weather and absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark. They nailed down wood in front of eggresion windows, ( code says need to be removable in case of fire) copper piping under deck taken out - part of copper had not been loaded in their vehicles. I was working & could not respond to my family member that was overseeing the painters. They installed new wood to cover deck area so I would not notice copper & water faucet gone!! House? No caulking, wood blemishes very visible. employees never reponded when ask to stop painting. One Sunday morning I came home with groceries, a person who was not speaking english, would not let me in gate. I was being told I cant come in yard. He had painted the door. (Not to be painted) I called Zackery, shared what was going on. He would be there right a way. Hours later he arrived, I Felt taken advantage of, Zackery had my money in his pocket & responding at his convenience only. Through this project removing copper, rushing through a job, no one checking in on job site, permanently nailing down eggresion windows & working on unplanned Sundays to paint? weekend paint days. When I discussed this, with Zackery, he was the same nightmare his companies work is. His response to me was "you have a contract & I will uphold you to that as a "BUSINESS MAN" should. Trying to locate him for mediation purposes? Had numerous addresses and several personal financial issues. Zackerys behavior about his clients is not favorable. I never was reimbursed for the copper, damage, or lack of work. I did hire a person that made sure he did not arrive on my property again.
