My only comment is that these days no matter what nail salon you go to, they all charge about the same rates. But the service they provide is a lot less than they used to provide. Meaning that they would do the callus removal as part of a basic pedicure. Now everything is a la carte and they add all these things on to the charges. That being said, this was my first time at this nail salon. I was greeted by a gentleman that I think is either the owner or the manager who was very nice. He checked me in and showed me these books of different colors that I could choose for my pedicure. I did have an appointment already scheduled. Don was my nail technician and he did a great job. He was very thorough and did a great job with the foot massage. He didn't speak much but that's okay. He did a great job of what he was supposed to do and trimmed and polished my toenails and I would go back to see him again. The space is very chill and welcoming and they have three or four TVs going at the same time with no volume on, and they have music playing in the background that's not too loud, rather very laid-back music. I saw some customers getting bottled water out of a fridge but I don't know if that's offered to everyone or just certain clients. It also looks like they have some kind of membership where you get discounts and I'm not sure about that either. I did not ask about that. I didn't feel rushed but also didn't spend hours on a set either. So I recommend early morning if you want a relaxed vibe! Later in the afternoon/evening is a bit busier. I've been going to her for a couple of years now, and she consistently does an amazing job. She's the perfect balance of quick and gentle, which I really appreciate. Whether I come in with a specific idea or just let her do her thing, she always delivers beautiful results. On top of her talent, Linh is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes every appointment such a pleasant experience. I've been coming to this salon for a few years and have seen several technicians, everyone here does great work and the salon is top quality, but Linh truly stands out to me. Not only is that poor business practice, but should be considered false advertising. Owner or manager said, "Gel is more expensive" but nowhere on the menu states this additional charge! Additionally, the technician failed to mention the additional charge during the ENTIRE service! (And side note... despite all the tomfoolery of the upcharge, she did a wonderful job on my pedicure. HOWEVER, I do not appreciate people taking advantage of me and not being transparent on their pricing so I will be calling my bank, providing photos of their menu, my receipt AND the reviews I will be leaving over social media! Unless I am contacted for a refund, I will proceed with my charge back! Lastly, I will NEVER step foot in this establishment again and I suggest you exercise EXTREME caution before spending your money here. Also, they blocked me on their social media platforms. That should be all the evidence you need of their wrongdoing! Update your menu and stop playing with people's money!
