During pedicures, they would do callous remover without even asking if I wanted it and when I brough this up to their attention they brushed it off. BUT my updated review is for the call I just got from them. I have a trip coming up for my birthday next week so I made a Gel X appointment for 09/12/2026 at 11AM on August 23, 2026. I realized I wanted a pedicure as well. So I went on to book a second appointment for the same time as the Gel X, as I always have. I hate sitting at the salon for 2 hours. I have religiously booked my nails and pedicure at the same time so both are simultaneously done for the past two years (PER BONDS RECOMMENDATION). I get a call after booking the appointment online (with the appointment requests for both services together) that they are charging $5.00 now for both services to be booked together. Absolutely insane. $5.00 for two services to be booked together. $75.00 for Gel X (plus $5.00 for designs). $60.00 for a BASIC gel pedicure ($5.00 extra for French tip). $5/$10 extra for callous remover. That totals $155.00 BEFORE TIP. I cancelled both appointments and booked elsewhere. Nail salon culture is absolutely insane.

A regular gel manicure is $50, and nail art typically starts around $5 per nail, depending on the design. Chrome and cat-eye effects are an additional $25. A little tip for anyone with a similar situation: I had the ingrown nails on both of my big toes removed by a podiatrist, so my natural nails are much narrower now. My nail technicians simply use Gel-X or acrylic to widen and reshape my big toenails, and the results look so natural that you'd never know it isn't my real nail shape. I also want to give a shout-out to the front desk staff. The receptionists are always warm and welcoming when you arrive, and they'll check in throughout your appointment to see if you'd like any refreshments. They offer complimentary mocktails, coffee, water, soda, juice, and even some alcoholic beverages. He checked me in and showed me these books of different colors that I could choose for my pedicure. I did have an appointment already scheduled. Don was my nail technician and he did a great job. He did a great job of what he was supposed to do and trimmed and polished my toenails and I would go back to see him again. Traci my nail tech did a great job with my feet but I didn't get a foot massage that it was described in the menu. I also didn't care for the fact she put hot candle wax on my legs that came from a burning candle. She cut my nails short which I was happy that she did. The atmosphere is relaxing and they offer waxing , massage and facials. I'll try the other services eventually as the prices are fair.
