Won't come back after coming for years and the only person that does a "decent" job is Juliana, has slowly turned to bad service and mediocre job, the guy that works at here will give you the worst nail set and make your cuticles bleed, and has a temper. The other person was Lisa worst too and lazy won't clean under nails leaves residue and lines just a messy job overall and her nail shapes are horrendous and gets mad if you nicely ask for it to be fixed. First time coming here today. It wasn't busy when I walked in so I got someone right away. My nails were chipping from the gel I got a week ago so I wanted to get a dip powder. I paid $45 plus tip with the dip powder. I like the color that I got but I wish they had shown me more shades of green. My gel soak off was quick so the tech was able to work on my hands right away. She was nice and friendly and was able to do what I wanted. Short and simple. I'm giving 4 stars because I was getting convinced to change my mind and get a longer tip because it will look "nicer and thinner". But I came to get my nails cut and filed and I insisted I wanted short nails. She tried convincing me a few times but I stood my ground and kept what I wanted so I wouldn't regret my choice. Can I give 0 stars? This place is beyond sucky & Im not even picky about my nails. This experience literally ruined my whole day. I do have a regular nail tech. My mother in law got me a gift card to the wrong place so I was just trying to use it up. First of all I've been working months on growing my natural nails out, my career is tough on them so yes they are thin- this is why I do the dip. Nick the nail tech/manager flat out just cut them off, wanting just a dip manicure he cut all my natural growth and put on a whole set- not what i wanted at all-And the gel x set totally hurt my nails into the night! Zero filing or shaping was done ontop of it all, no lotion hand rub- basically glued on a home kit and called it a day! I like my basic natural look. He disregarded everything I wanted. Horrible design work that he pushed to do even though i just wanted basic black, the design was not at all difficult but even I could do a better job. Also very unprofessional with there booking/scheduling. Overall this place is about quantity not quality. I hate it so much I'm just tossing the gift certificate as I don't trust any service offered. My sister and I where looking to get a pedicure and we called about 4 places each all booked and busy. Then we remembered about Nail Envy & how we used to always go here a few years back. They've completely remodeled since then and it looks amazing! I went in for a gel pedicure and everything was clean, brand new tools in the bag, plastic liners for the bowl, as well as protective covers for the chairs. Hellen did an amazing job on my toes. They did an awesome job on my nails and pedi. My problem is the over charge on my card. They told me it was 110.00 for my service, I tip 10.00, look at my account was charged 144.00. I called Nail Envy and they said it was the bank fault. I called my bank which I was on hold for 5 hours, just to hear that it is Nail Envy fault. The young lady over the phone said it happen 2 week ago to another person. Still on the phone with the bank to get this problem resolved. Update: Nail Envy fix the over charge on my account. This charge was probably a simple mistake. They really do awesome nails and pedi, the prices are a little steep for not working right now. I will have will have to spoil myself once a month. The tools they use are sterilized and individually wrapped and sealed. They use gloves when necessary and the pedi bowls are lined. I'm impressed with the cleanliness practices they have in place. I hate to leave bad reviews but I feel I'd be remiss if I didn't share my experience. The one bright spot is that the design on my daughter's nails by Nick looked great. We walked into the salon at 10:00 and the place was full, as in every single pedicure basin was in use along with several of the manicure stations. Every tech was deep into a service. Oh, and the overfill seats were also full. I told them we both had appointments at 10:00. We were asked to wait at one of the few empty manicure stations...which we did for more than 30 minutes. Then Nick began my daughter's nails and tells me someone is setting up my pedicure and it will be just a few minutes. Well, as it turns out, they were setting up the station, but not for me. To his credit, Nick was visibly frustrated and told them I was next (this is an assumption based on context as he was speaking another language, but he pointed at me while speaking.) Fast forward 10 more minutes and I'm escorted to the pedicure chair. I was asked if I wanted callus remover and I say, of course, that's why I'm here. She agrees that I need it and tells me that it will be $5 extra. I agree with that as I'm thinking I'm about to get some nice callus removal gel and a pumice stone. Nope, instead, she whips out the callus razor. For those of you who don't know, those are illegal for use in nail salons, per the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology. I've been informed of this at other salons that don't use them. Normally, I don't make a big deal out of it as it does get the heels super soft. However, since I was charged $5 for an illegal tool, I feel that is a shady business practice. They clearly will take any and all walk-ins when they open at 9:30, regardless of those who have an appointment at 10:00. First, I wait, with an appointment, then I'm up charged for the tech to use an illegal tool, and the final straw was when the owner charged me $50 for an acrylic fill! The full new set only cost me $55. Clearly, greed is the name of the game at Nail Envy, and with a salon on literally every block in town, I'll gladly take my business and my money elsewhere. read more

I used to get my nails done here for years and moved to Arizona and came back and let me tell you... the service and quality of work has gone down hill. I got my nails done by Helen and within the first two days my dip nails started peeling and after a week I already have to get a new dip set and as you know this is PRICEY! I called the two days after for them to fix the issue and they said they were to busy to get me in... I called again and they said the same thing. Last time I was in there another girl has an issue with her nails and the manager blamed her for the issue for not "explaining what she wanted" correctly...it just is terrible that it has come down to this at what used to be my favorite salon. I used to think quite well of this nail salon but not anymore. It is a clean and well kept salon and well staffed but do not come here during their busier hours. I understand that there are moments they are busy and feel the need to help as many people as they can but I definitely don't appreciate them rushing my nails that I'm paying good hard earned money for. The gentleman that did my nails was not only unfriendly but made me bleed from two different cuticles & rushed each coat of gel and gave me a clumpy uneven set of nails. It's visibly uneven on multiple fingers. Plus, less than one week in and my nails are already chipping. The only reason I'd return is to probably let them know they need to take more care and to let anyone else know not to come in when they're busy because they do not care about you or your satisfaction in a rush. I went today at 1:35 pm approx. to request a regular pedicure and acrylic tip full, short set. I was greeted by a young lady who took care of my pedicure and overall did a great job. The only takeaway was the stones and towels were not warm (you know what they use to massage your legs and feet after scrubbing them), but that wasn't bad. It was okay and she did a great job. She asked if I'd prefer a male or female and chose a female because she was readily available. I was asked what service and I stated clearly, acrylic tip, short set, almond shape. The nail tech asked about gel, and I stated no thank you. She kept asking and I had to become firm and stated "No thank you. I have this stuff at home and have been doing my nails for years, I just decided to come out and get pampered for once and I know what I like and want." I asked her the price and she said $55, which is the going average in this market for what I wanted (acrylic tip, short, solid polish, no gels, no decor of any kind). She asked again about gel, and I said no and if she asked again, I was leaving. She went to get the tips to show me the almond shape and grabbed what looked to be brush-on glue and primer. As she sized the tips to my nails and applied the primer. Afterward, she applied what looked like the brush on nail glue to the tips and applied them to my nail beds. It was clear; however, the bottle was not facing me where I could see the name of the product, but I had no reason to believe otherwise. I noticed that she then had me put my hand in what looked like a UV lamp, but again, I am thinking this is some new glue stuff because nothing was applied to the top of the tip and I use acrylics, so I have never seen this before. After doing all ten nails she went to file with the electric file and standard, as many do before applying the acrylic, and then all of a sudden she broke out the buffing wedge. I asked her why she was buffing before putting on the acrylic. This woman looked at me and said "No, you don't need it, I use gel X. If they ask say Gel X." I just looked at her. Like you totally disregarded what I asked you for and literally set up here and basically applied a damn press on the nail. I was so upset at this point and didn't want to make a scene. She asked me about gel time and time again and I said no. No gel products, no gel powder as I typically have a reaction to them. I ASKED FOR ACRYLIC AND THAT'S WHAT I INTENDED TO PAY FOR. I cannot believe that she did that. On top of that, she had 2 coworkers who kept coming over and speaking in their language crap that was beyond unprofessional. I just smirked to myself because they never realize that although we may not look the part, it doesn't mean that we cannot understand or speak the language. It's clear when people are talking ill about you or around you, and some words cannot be translated into other languages but must be said in English terms. It was beyond me that they were bothered that I didn't want anything gel, not even polish, I didn't want the super long nails, etc. At this point, I plan to either contact the board or whomever I need to make an official report and or cancel a payment I don't want to cancel the payment because there was a service, I received that was covered (pedicure), but the nails NO. I couldn't even tip after being disregarded and forced to do something other than what I asked for. Yes, forced. She knew exactly what I said and what she did. She played the role was gluing on tips and when done, after being done, indicated acrylic was not needed. I cannot believe this. I have been going to this place for the past 4 years for pedicures and the 1 time I decided to do tips, this is what happens. I first went in just for a basic pedicure. I noticed they offered a deluxe as well but didn't have time. When she was massaging me feet with hot stones I was like "THIS AINT THE DELUXE?!"
