This place has terrible reviews and I see why. I came because it was recommended, against my gut feeling I made an appointment last night. The people here are absolutely AWFUL, especially the girl at the front desk. I walked in the girl at the front desk didn't even acknowledge me. I said hello and she looked at me as if I had just totaled her car. I said that I had an appointment at 12, she with an attitude asked my name. She told me to go pick a color, literally pointed to the opposite area of where the colors were. I explained that I wanted a gel color and before I could tell her which one, she rudely said "the gel colors are there too" as if I were dumb. I should have walked out then, but I sat down and the tech came to do my nails and didn't even acknowledge me. Like, whether you speak English or not, friendly is a universal language. I sat down, she told me to put my foot up, hen the other, she literally pushed my foot into the water. I said never mind and walked out! I just moved to the neighborhood and didn't want to drive all the way to the southwest, but I will from now on; driving 40 minutes to get my nails done where I know people are kind, good humans is much better than driving 3 and dealing with disgusting, rude jerks. read more

It's clean , staff is decent . Pedicures are good . However recently started charging $5.00 extra for ingrown toenails and scrubbing bottom of calluses . Sometimes I need one ingrown and it's not surgery so I don't know why I'm paying $5.00 extra , that's a new thing have been going here for two years . I was quite annoyed . Just keep that in mind if you have ingrown or calluses it will cost $5.00 more than original $35.00-40.00 pedicures price . Other than that I do think they do some of the best pedicures . WORST EXPERIENCE! I went in for a gel pedicure and the guy doing my pedi was really rough. He kept digging and cutting the side of my big toes. I asked not once but THREE times to stop because he was hurting me. I did NOT have an ingrown by the way. The pedicure was mediocre but that was not the problem. The can live with a bad pedi. Two days later, my toe is swollen, puss is coming out. I went into the nail shop and was treated horribly. The "manager" was not apologetic, could care less and even blamed me that I might of possibly have had an ingrown. My toes were fine when I walked in! She wanted to refund only $20 when I paid $50 plus tip for a botch pedicure. She finally refunded me and asked not to come back as if I would after that experience! I was not treated well today by the man that did my gel pedicure. He cut my toes, was extremely rough, & almost left my toes with polish on my skin. I had to say something to the lady doing my nails that there was paint in my skin. He was extremely rude and I will not be coming back again. The two stars is only for the lady that did my manicure. The vibe appears professional but the staff is far from it. Highly recommend avoiding, the prices don't match the quality. read more

The male nail tech was very rude to my "minor" daughter, he slapped her hand to remove her from the lamp. She was unhappy with the acrylic because he left brush hair in the setting acrylic which dried into the acrylic. When she went to the owner she was HORRIBLY RUDE, my daughter passed her the phone so I could explain the concern my daughter had and she threw her phone! I went in to get under arm wax ( Which I have done for many many years since high school) I know that I am heat sensitive so I make it a point to always tell them " not too hot i burn very easily" "you will need to blow on the wax so my armpits don't get burned". I know how she understood me. She said ok lay down. She started and grabbed the wax with the popsicle stick and blew on it once (it was a fast blow) and then applied it to my armpit. I WAS SO HOT that I pulled away. She said oh is that too hot ? YES !!!!. besides that she has a HEAVY hand !!! and trying to finish that armpit that kept putting more wax and applying so much pressure. I could take it anymore. I had to stop this season and be done. I ask her how much for what she did. She said $15 and I paid. She did a service. * I am giving this visit a one start. I am giving her a 1 star. Called in to ask if they could help me today, I wanted a mani pedi, they agreed. I got there early so I could choose my colors in peace. as soon as I stepped in the door they asked what I was there for told them I had an appointment but I was early so I could wait they immediately asked "what color" I said I don't know yet they said ok well pick one and go sit down, I take a few colors with me to pick through immediately they ask what color I said I don't know can you just start removing my old polish, cutting nails etc they said ok but what color... I chose a light blue and asked if it would be sheer or if I could do 2 coats m, she rolled her eyes and said pick another color... they were rushing doing both my hands and feet at the same time, when she needed my attention rather than speaking she would just shake my foot until I looked up at her.. while I was getting my nails done one of the employees sat one chair over from me took off her shoes and laid in the massage chair, not professional at all. paid $115 for gel mani pedi read more

When you're paying $200 to get your nails done, you kind of want them almost perfect. These guys were kinda sloppy. I'm trying to get ready for an event, and my daughter and I ran over there to get our nails done, and they were nice but sloppy on the job. It's really disappointing. I have several spots that are obvious that need work, my daughter's weren't too bad, though. Neither of us had the time to have them redo the mistakes. Just wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Just had the worst nail experience ever with Doug. When we walked in, he was falling asleep in his chair, mouth open head tilting, the whole nine. The nice front lady called his name for me to sit at his desk, he didn't say hi, which okay, whatever. He then proceeds to do my nails, cutting FOUR of my cuticles to the point of bleeding, once I am almost finished with color he noticed my thumb is slightly scuffed, shakes his head and aggressively touches my finger to signal it got messed up (pretty sure he touched it with one of his brushes but I could be wrong). No problem, it happens it's a slight ripple in my nail. Once I am almost done, he says something in their language to the guy next to us and laughs. As I get up to walk out THREE of their workers turn their head to look at me. On top of it, he left fuzz from the cotton swab on my nails and paint on my fingers from the bottle he let drip everywhere. I really like this place and the nice ladies that work there but I have never had an experience like this. He probably should have stayed sleeping and all would be well... yikes read more

so my issue with Horizon would be the colors. I picked a light green and she brought over a light blue and then was like this is the number I'm like so what that's not the correct color. so I picked a dark green and ended uo with a weird turquoise. lol. She was correct the number on the bottle was correct but the color was way way way off. when the lady next to me said oh that's my daughter's nail color I said it's not what I picked it's what they use. I showed her the color I had chosen. The guy next to the lady doing my nails said the colors are not exact because they are not gel. lmao. No, the colors are wrong because he paid for nail polish that the colors were all wrong and he probably paid half price. I won't be back because if I pick green and you give me blue and think it's okay, then you should reconsider your customer service. read more

I walked in Saturday for a pedicure. When I checked out and paid with my debit card I was asked if I wanted a receipt. I said no thank you (I normally get one) When I noticed I was overcharged. I went in for the $45 pedicure & had Tina work on my feet. She insisted she wasn't going to paint the nails as they needed to breathe. I said I want them painted and she again said no. When I said you WILL paint them as I'm flying to FLA to visit relatives she finally agreed. Next was the FIGHT over using the Sugar Scrub. She said your legs look dry & I won't scrub them. I told her Amy scrubs them all the time and she finally relented. I got NO hot towel treatment which is to be included in the $45 pedicure & she questioned my tip (she's lucky she even got a dime) THREE TIMES because she evidently felt it was too small. I'm never going back to this Salon to be so Ill treated. Someone needs to talk to this Tina & explain what Customer Service is all about. What a waste of $45. read more

Worst nail experience of my life. We made appointments for three pedicures and they only got two of us in and made the third not even get hers. They had people sitting around talking instead of starting to work on he. I told my nail tech countless times to LEAVE my ingrown toe nails alone and he continued to go at them again and again after I kept saying,"it's, fine just leave them." I love this place and I come here all the time for my nails! Usually my nail techs kill it but this experience really ruined it for me. I spent 45$ on a pedicure. I wanted the extra callus treatment and I needed my gel removed.. so 45$ seemed fair but the nail lady didn't remove any callus... she also didn't massage my feet at all. No pressure at all. She just lightly rubbed the lotion around on my feet. I almost wanted to record a video of her doing it. Usually you're supposed to get a foot massage with your pedicure and she failed to do it. I almost wanted to tell her to just stop and just paint my toes. Really disappointed. Wont be back. read more
