They are also so friendly and make the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for someone who really knows eyebrows, Khina is the place!!!! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my brows. I have been coming to Khina for over 15 years. Khina is the owner. I went yesterday to get a full face threading plus eyebrows done. There were a couple ladies there, so there was no wait time, which I appreciated. I went in and explained what I wanted done. At first, I felt her trimming my eyebrows with scissors. I noticed she was trimming the top because my eyebrow hairs do grow upward a little, and I'm used to that being done at other threading places. But then I started feeling her trim the bottom of my eyebrows, and I could hear her clipping on my left eyebrow specifically. After that, she stopped and didn't really trim the other brow. The bottom of my eyebrows usually never gets trimmed, so this already felt unusual to me. She then started threading, and I did feel like she was taking off more hair than usual. Mind you, my eyebrows were not overgrown at all because I had already gotten them threaded somewhere else about 3-4 weeks ago. They still had a nice shape, so realistically this appointment should have just been a cleanup. Once she finished and brushed my eyebrows down a bit, they honestly looked okay at first glance when she showed me. However, today when I went to put gel in my eyebrows and lightly shape them the way I normally do, I immediately noticed blunt cuts. I tried styling them, but the hair on the bottom is now too short because too much was cut off. It honestly looks like I'm missing hair in certain spots because of how much was trimmed. I also noticed some micro bleeding/red spots around my neck and chin area after the facial threading. I'm not sure if that is considered normal, but it is something I experienced after the service. I uploaded pictures -- the first one shows how my eyebrows looked before, and the other pictures show how they look now. I'm leaving two stars because my other eyebrow does look good and they are even. If she hadn't trimmed the bottom, I honestly feel like they would have turned out really nice. At this point there's not much I can do besides wait for them to grow back. I also have a wedding to attend this weekend, so hopefully an eyebrow pencil does the trick. Needless to say, I'm disappointed because I chose this place based on all the great reviews I had seen. read more

Came here on a Saturday and my timing couldn't have been more perfect. I walked in at 2:04 pm, and right after me about 4 more people came in--so I definitely beat the rush. There were two women working and they were super efficient. I was in and out by 2:18 pm, and there were still people waiting when I left. Quick and quality? Love that. I hadn't gotten my brows done in about 2 months, so I really needed a clean-up--and they did exactly that. I didn't take a before pic (regret that ), but trust me, they brought my brows back to life. Hands down the best threading in town you can get. I have been coming to Khina's for at least 10 years now since I was in high school and she does the best work every single time. Even the other ladies on staff are fantastic and take care of me every time I come in. As someone who is VERY particular about how their brows look, I can't imagine trusting any other business. I personally like to let mine grow out over the course of a couple weeks, sometimes a month and transformation I go through each time is always incredible. I have been coming here for a while and everything has always been great. It was my to go place and even though I find threading rather painful, I thought it was worth it because they did an amazing job. I was there this past week (about 5 days ago) and not only that the lady ruined my eyebrow (and left it with patches and missing hairs on the top), she cut my eyelid. I left bleeding without even realizing (and she said nothing too). I quickly looked in the mirror from far and paid (even tipped) and when I got in the car and took a better look I almost started crying. I am including a picture (note the scratch - picture is today, so after 5 days). Also, luckily, my eyebrows are micro bladed (so, from far they look ok even though they are ruined). You can tell on top there's missing hairs, it's patchy, and not cut properly. I will never return here again. read more

First time getting my eyebrows threaded while living in in the Henderson area and let's just say I took a leap of faith. I've been getting my eyebrows done by one person only for the past 9 years prior to moving to southern nevada and I've been scared to try anywhere new. I have a cut and like my brows a particular shape so I'm really picky about letting people touch my brows. Unfortunately, I needed to return to threading and knew it was time to find somewhere close to my new neighborhood. While shopping at Sally's next door I asked if Khina is a pretty good shop to get my brows threaded. Both associate's equally stated the spot is always busy. Being the yelper I am I checked their reviews and ratings and went for it. I have to say the lady who did my brows did a great job, very nice, patient with my request, and cleaned them up just like I like them. The shop itself was cute, clean, and calm atmosphere. The attended who did my brows was quick and you really can't beat the price. $10 in this economy, almost unheard of. They definitely earned a new customer. Thank you! read more

Eye brow threading today!! Ok yelp friends, It has been a very long time since I have been here, to this salon. I was happy that they are still here. They welcome walk- ins and so I sat for a few minutes only as they have 3 chairs and all were filled when I walked in. They greeted me and asked me to have a seat. They have a few couches and they make the short wait comfortable. They had a Bollywood show on the TV. I was called over to sit in the chair. My gal was very nice and got right to work. She is quick and precise. Very detailed. She does such a good job!! When she is done threading she applies a light cooling lotion with cotton and it feels so good. This location continued to stay busy with a steady flow while I was there. If you live or work in the area this is a good spot to visit. The price is average and def worth the price. It is close to my house and the parking is right out front. There are 2 spots that are 30 minute parking only. Check it out! read more

I've gotta take a minute to leave a review for Khina Eyebrow Threading in Henderson. So I'm a Sicilian guy with thick, big black eyebrows -- you know the kind that can turn into two angry caterpillars if you don't keep them under control. I was next door at Hobby Lobby picking up a few things and noticed the eyebrow threading shop before they closed. I figured, why not, let's live a little. When I walked in the place was packed. All five chairs full, plus a few more ladies waiting. That's usually a good sign. Before I even went in, a woman outside told me, "Khina is the best." I looked at her eyebrows... they were perfect. I said alright, I'm sold. About 25 minutes later I'm in the chair. Now I'm not gonna lie -- in the past, threading felt like medieval torture. But Khina? Total pro. Quick, precise, and somehow way less painful than my past experiences. Next thing you know, my eyebrows look sharp. Clean. Respectable. Like a civilized Sicilian gentleman instead of a guy who just crawled out of the woods. Khina herself is very professional, super friendly, easy on the eyes, and clearly knows her craft. You can tell she's done this a million times and takes pride in it. She also offers waxing and a bunch of other services. Best part? Twelve bucks. Where else are you getting your eyebrows cleaned up for $12 these days? I gave her a nice tip because great work deserves it. She even recommended a Zen massage place next door if I ever want to relax and get a facial massage. Now that's good customer service. Long story short: great personality, great service, great results. Five stars all day. If you're in Henderson and your eyebrows are starting to look like they belong in a mob movie -- go see Khina. This place is our go to eyebrow threading place and never disappoints! I enjoy the warm welcome they give when you arrive and the warm thank you as you leave. At times they get busy and it shows how popular this place is. Although it gets busy the service is quick and the wait isn't bad. When they do our eyebrows they show how reliable and how well they do their job by showing you the work they did and you can always comment on how they did. I really like the cooling of the aloe they apply after they finish threading. I also appreciate the reasonable prices of $10 cash and $11 card for eyebrow threading. I was here yesterday like clockwork to get my brows threaded and Khina suggested I tint them as I complain they are a not as full as I'd like them in the inner nose areas because they just don't grow thick...younger ladies-if thin brows ever come back DO NOT OVERPLUCK! Lol Anyhow, I'm back today for the tint, before are those dark caterpillars and after I'm in love glorious brows back! Khina has worked her magic again. Tint lasts 4-6 weeks she said. I don't know how they have almost 5 stars. I came in for a touch up but the lady dam near threaded my whole eyebrow off. Not only did she mess up the original arch of my brows and made it a flat straight line, she shaved too much off in the center area making my brows appearing way thinner and shorter than the length of my eyes so its very disproportional. I get it, it only cost $10 bucks per client and there's a ton of people waiting in line, but how bout actually doing a good job instead of rushing through the customers??
