These ladies are quite amazing. They keep the people moving swiftly and are very nice. I don't do brow threading so I cant speak to that. I love henna and this is the cheapest best place Ive been to. I went in with my niece and they did both of us for $10.00. Wow so worth it. It was my niece's first time and she loves it. All her friends complimented her. They did great artwork in such a short amount of time. That takes practice and skill. I will definitely be back. My niece probably will be too. It's a fun activity while your at the mall. I went today and I just noticed that there's a spot in my upper right eyebrow that looks like they tried to start to make a slit and didn't go all the way through. My eyebrows are thick so balding in that area is not a problem I have. It looked fine while wet (right after they finished) but when it dried it was super obvious. This was the second time I went and I was already giving the shop a second chance. The first time I went they made my eyebrows different lengths. And I had to let my eyebrows regrow before coming again. I know mistakes happen and it's affordable so i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm regretting it now. It's cheap but not worth. I decided to check this place out since it was convenient and close to my work. It cost $10 to get your eyebrows threaded. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded for years and this is the first time that it has left scabs. I don't know what the lady did but I specifically told her to be a little more gentle as my skin is a little sensitive. Love them. It's just suck-y that their location is the mall....... because we all know how the galleria can get. Especially in the summer, with the middle school-ers being dumped off by their parents. As soon as I walk in, I am almost taken to a different place. The music, is..... intoxicating. I feel like I am in a Bollywood film with the music, the henna art, and other beautiful things that they sell in the case under the cash register. I can never remember mine of course, but they do have a "punch" card system, where if you buy 5 services, you get the sixth free... A plus. I have been threading for the last year and a half... I had a bad waxing experience in a Henderson "salon" where my eyebrows got thin, and then I broke out from the wax itself... which had never happened before, and my co worker recommended them. The feeling is really something that you never get used to. It hurts me more than the birth of my daughter did. But that's just me. haha. read more

This place is awesome. I used to get my brows done at the "...R Us" place and Patel's is far superior, from customer service to pricing to actual execution of the threading. I always see Khina for my brows and upper lip--her work is consistent and thorough. I love that I've been there often enough now that she recognizes me and knows exactly what I want without having to ask. They also do really beautiful henna art. I got my first one from them this past weekend and was really pleased with the final color. I don't know the name of the other gal who works there but it's only two of them. As of 7/26/10, the salon is located downstairs near the Henderson Community Police offices but they'll be moving upstairs next to Macy's very soon. Since I came here and Laxmi worked her magic on my brows, I have been coming back since. She is quick, efficient, and she does an awesome job with shaping my eyebrows. Right when you get there, you should grab a number. They can get busy but you can sit on the sofa while you wait for your turn. The sofa seats 4 guests. They have four chairs in front, and a few more in the back. The ladies do have their own conversations in their language, but that doesn't bother me, since their conversations do not impede the threading process. I have a place I get my eyebrows threaded but decided to give this place a shot since I was at the mall, I specifically told the lady to leave my eyebrow shape and thickness and just clean around it. She literally made my eyebrows thinner than I've ever had them, she did not care about a word of what I told her. It's unbelievable to me that being a shop at the mall makes them treat people like nothing., no customer service or no care since they probably think they will "never see that person again". I was doing some shopping at Galleria Mall and noticed Patel's Threading near Macy's. My eyebrows were in dire need of some TLC, and I had time so I decided to stop in to get them threaded. When I first stopped in there were two people already waiting, and I still needed to do some shopping so I decided to come back on my way out. That ended up being a good idea, when I came back at 5 pm there wasn't anyone waiting, just one guy being threaded. When it was my turn I was taken over to a chair and the lady went to work. Not sure if it was because my eyebrows were a little overgrown but the process seemed to take a while. Waxing is definitely a quicker way to go and less painful in my opinion. Waxing is like ripping a band-aid off, threading is like pulling it off slooooowly. $10 is the cost for eyebrow threading for woman, for some reason men are charged $2 more. Overall not a bad experience but I think I will stick to waxing for my eyebrow upkeep from now on... read more

The worst location to get your eyebrows done. First - let me say that there are plenty of places in town that don't charge more for being a male. It is completely ridiculous that they would charge guys more. Second- the chairs they have you sit on are tapped up with black masking tape. It shouldn't cost that much to have a head rest refurbished. Lastly they are way overpriced I will never go back there. I strongly recommend that you find some where else to go! read more

So my eyebrows grow in crazy thick and fast. When threading first came out, I tried it and hated it. It hurt so bad and my eyes watered the whole time. Fast forward a couple years and I decided to give it a try again because even though it was painful, it was super accurate and looked good. So I came into Patel's and the lady had me hold my eye and my hair and she got to work. She worked so fast and it was painful, but she pressed on the skin to make it feel better. There are often quite a few people there before me, so I have to wait a bit sometimes, but it's well worth it. Once I'm sitting down, it takes less than ten minutes for gorgeous results! Their prices are just as good as their services, coming out to a total of $14. And, while I have yet to take advantage of it, there are a number of considerable discounts and freebies through their rewards program on Fivestars. First of all as soon as they're last customer left they automatically while I was in there CHAIR SAID HOW HORRIBLE the lady's eyebrows came out and how disgusting she was!!! I am only giving them one star because I can not give them zero. I was heading to a wedding and wanted to get my chin and upper lip waxed or threaded before hand. I stopped by and they refused to work on me. The only reason was because I was male. Nowhere in any of their advertising did they say that they won't work on men. If they showed me something like that written on their pricing sheet or their website I would have said okay I made a mistake. They will do eyebrows for men but nothing else.
