This is probably the longest overdue review and I should have been giving kudos to Andrea at Blink & Ink years ago. I started seeing Andrea years ago for my eyelash extensions. Not only has Andrea done my lash extensions in the past but she's the only one I trust with my brows. Andrea corrected a bad microblading job done elsewhere and was able to turn my poorly red pigmented brows into gorgeous powder brows that match my hair and skin tone much better. She is extremely clear and knowledgeable in the before and aftercare. But what I love most about her is that she is a perfectionist. She takes her time with your brows and looks from all angles to make sure your brows are perfect before leaving. 5 years after she did my brows for the first time, I decided to do a touch up. Her studio is the cutest and chicest space. I was so relaxed during my appointment. Andrea took her time and I left with beautiful powder brows once again. If I could leave zero stars I would! I went to Andrea for Ombre Brows and they turned out horrible! My brows are mismatched, off kilter, I mean, just awful. I texted her the day after I got them and sent her a picture and she said that they always look like that right after a procedure because they're so dark and once they lighten they will look better. She also said she wouldn't do a touch-up (which comes complimentary with the procedure) until 2 months later. I agreed. So, in the meantime I've been trying to fill them in with pencil and I can't find the right shade of pencil or powder so it always ends up looking horrible! After a few months of looking like this, I followed up with Andrea and asked to schedule my touch-up. She said that she had been told by a doctor that she has carpal tunnel and was recommended to no longer hold the heavy machine to do brows. I then asked if someone that works for her could do the touch-up at no extra charge since I had already paid $500 and have had messed up brows for months and the touch-up was supposed to be included in my service. Andrea said that since the people that work for her are independent contractors that they won't do my touch-up for no additional charge. I understand this but she should make it right even if she has to pay her co-worker a couple of bucks! This is horrible customer service. I run a business of my own and if we screwed something up or couldn't follow through with something we already agreed upon then we'd make it right by paying for it out of our pocket. Now I'm out of pocket $500, I have screwed up brows and will have to pay more to get them fixed. I'm scared to even go to anyone else as this is pretty permanent for now and a brow pencil won't make it look better. I'm totally screwed and out $500!! Thanks for nothing Andrea! read more

I was always unsure about laser hair removal because of the horror stories I've heard. Kristina explained to me what the process would be and the only thing I would feel is the cold gel. She wasn't wrong. My first session I did a Brazilian and my underarms. She reminded me the pre and post ops to ensure results. The appointment ended up being a quick 30 minutes without any pain. I felt a small prick here and there, but nothing unbearable. A month later, I go in for half my legs as my lip. I realized that I haven't shaved my underarms since I got it lasered! It's been nice. My brazillian is growing very slow and we all know that is coarse hair so it does take a bit more sessions until their hair follicles are fully gone. This is the 3rd place I've been to that specializes in laser hair removal. The previous two were a package of eight treatments, which I completed, but the job never really got done. The first place was not a pleasant experience because I had to brace myself and mentally prepare with each session because of the pain. Not to mention the actual hair removal never worked. By the time I decided to try laser hair removal for the second time it was years later and I went to a very popular chain with the word "laser" actually in it. I thought: 'This is going to be great. This is the place. They must be ridiculously expensive because it actually works.' Welp, once again, my hair almost always grew back before my next appointment and their lasers still gave that old-school painful sensation of being popped with a rubberband. I LOVE the work Andrea does. She meticulously matches the brow shape and color to match your facial features. The ombré effect is, in my opinion, a more natural look than the micro blading I've seen. I got compliments from day 1. Even when my brow was still healing. My 90yr old mother just told me,"Every time I look at you I want to get my eyebrows done!"
