After filling out the simple forms on a tablet she asked a few additional question. I already knew my problem areas from a dermatologist I had spoken to so I knew what I needed to ask for. If you have no idea the areas you want her to work on shes very diligent in looking over your skin and asking about any senitivies or allergies. From start to finish explaining each step and checking in if anything burned or felt too spicy. After my amazing head, neck, shoulder, hand massage, and facial I also needed an eyebrow wax which ive been getting for over twenty years. She was concerned that my eyes got red and swollen and iced them until the swelling went down. I appreshiated her genuine concern and I assured her that was normal for me. Everyone's body is different. By the time I took a 5 minute walk back to my office the swelling was gone. My fellow business owner said my skin was glowing. It feels softer and more even. When I was about to pay she let me know I get 10% off your first visit. If you are still reading my long review there will be a grand opening on October 23rd from 6-9pm.

Marlana is highly skilled in aesthetic treatments and personable. Five stars out of five!read more

I was excited to have a me-day with both mani and pedi in one visit. Long story short, what seemed like a luxurious lemon bath and scrub listing, just turned out to be a small bowl of water with a lemon slice. This expectation vs. reality was aligned and reflective with the whole experience I received here. My nail tech was sick, so she seemed to struggle with sniffling during the whole service. I'm not talking about soft sniffles, I'm talking about the type of sniffles with a gunky swallow. No mask either. I truthfully almost walked out at that fact alone. I would have been completely understanding if she had excused herself to blow her nose to feel more comfortable. To add, the service was not good. The nail polish cured in a way where it created sharp edges, especially on the side and underneath my nails. I also had a one matte nail, rather than a glossy finish. I realized this once I got to my car and debated going back in to get it fixed or to just deal with it and not risk being a sick, uncomfortable interaction again. Ultimately, I decided to go in and fix it. The owner of the place looked at it this time and called the nail tech over, to which she said my nails were too thin and if she filed them anymore, they would break. This didn't make sense to me as it was my actual nails that were sharp, it was the nail polish. Also, I know I have really strong nails. The owner tried explaining (more so excusing) the fact that other nail salons use tools that thin the nails - the same tools that they used on me. For the nail that was matte, she layered on another coat of finish and had me go under the light. This cured terribly and she ultimately said she wanted to re-do everything. So, she used the same "nail thinning tool" on me a second time within one service. The nails turned out better, but everything else was so sloppy. I left with nail polish on my skin. Everything felt a bit like a waste of time. To make matters worse, my nails were drilled down so thin that each fingernail broke in uncomfortable places like the middle of my nail bed so I've been stuck with chipped, broken, uncomfortable nails since my service in September. It's now November and my nail journey has been all about healing and growth now. I had a friend who removed the polish and helped begin recovering my nails with just a clear coat so to not bring attention to the poor state of my nails and for an overall break. They have made progress, but unfortunately due to the positioning of where my nails cracked, I am growing them out and will have to cut them down again to fully recover the job done here. Bottom line, this is not the place for me.

Please do not come here to get a pedicure!! I went here just for a normal pedicure and they…read morepromised a "lemon bath" (it was just lemon slices and a bowl of water) and the lady that did my toes rushed the whole time. She didn't shape my toe nails, she didn't file, clip them or anything. When she started painting them she missed multiple spots on my toenails, painted some on my skin around my toenails, and also left some of the nail polish looking bubbly. I went back the next day and explained that I just didn't think she did a good job and also explained what she did wrong and she told me I can get it redone without a charge and I thought that was nice of them. Instead of taking off my nail polish or reshaping my toenails she just WENT OVER MY CURRENT NAIL POLISH. I could have painted my toes at home and probably done a better job but I usually love the experience of getting a pedicure and this was just not it.

She was willing to take me, even though I had some eyelash extensions hanging on for dear life. She was knowledgeable around whether I should get a full new set or a fill, and honestly just happy for her to help me not look like a crazy Auntie anymore (think: character with cray eyelashes from Emperor's New Groove). I fell asleep during the session--- which should indicate that I was relaxed and feeling comfortable. As far as location: Michelle's location is tucked inside a nail salon on Sahara, and not hard to find. Lots of parking in the strip mall. You bet I'm coming back! I found an eyelash place! Thank you for making this a smooth process, Michelle!

Don't get me wrong, I adore a lot of people but wouldnt let them touch my lashes unless they were a real artist. I literally have women stop me on the street to ask where I get them done. I've had her do every style from very natural to dramatic diva. No matter what she does I have fallen in love with them. I've been to Sassy lashes and multiple other lash places in LA and Vegas. I've had some good and some bad but NO ONE gets them right like Michelle. I am so spoiled that when she went on a vacation, I opted to go without lashes at all. And that was NO fun. But I didnt want to be disappointed again like I had been so many times before i found her. Her shop was in downtown when I first went to Bombshell and it was geographically much more convenient for me. Now she has moved further out, but I dont care if her shop was in Reno - i would find a way. She really is that good I may regret the review if she gets too busy to get me in, but honestly if you want really beautiful lashes that last longer, this is your place.
