I recently went to Shila Eyebrow Threading and had a mixed experience…read more I got my brows threaded and added a tint. The shaping itself came out really nice -- I actually loved how my brows looked in the end. Clean, defined, and exactly the look I was going for. However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.

I've visited Shila Eyebrow Threading several times and have consistently received great service,…read morealways leaving satisfied with my eyebrows. However, during my most recent visit a few days ago, the usual staff who thread my eyebrows were either at lunch or unavailable. The lady typically at the front counter was the only one present and offered to thread my brows. I requested a simple clean-up, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. She was much rougher than usual--while threading can be uncomfortable, this time it was noticeably more painful. Additionally, she removed too much hair, resulting in unevenness at the top and bottom of the brow, as shown in the attached photo. I gave three stars because I'm generally pleased with the results, but based on my last visit, I feel she should remain at the front desk and leave threading to the other staff.

Either way training in customer service needs to be addressed. The lash lift: 0/5 The lift was actually very pretty right after she was done, although as soon an my lashes were dry, and I made it home. I realized how horrendous they are. My right eye is soo curled that it sticks to my lid and it is bent at the tip. They have been extremely over curled or over processed. The manager Casandra has issued a refund . Please note that Dessi is a JR lash artist. I was unaware of their tiers of lash artist. If I had I would have known, I would've asked for a senior level artist to start. Overall: I will NEVER return here, my nail techs daughter used to work for this company and said she would never recommend this place either. The reason for 2 stars is because the Manager made it right and refunded me & the vibe of the salon was aesthetically pleasing.

i have had my lashes done for the past 4 years, i have never had them done by someone who is training before but i can promise you that this has to be one of the best experiences i have ever had!! Donna is the nice gal who did my lashes, she was oh so very nice & very gentile. she kept asking me how i was, made conversation with me, she was telling me what she was about to do. she cleaned my lashes before applying the extensions, she got the left over stubborn mascara off for me, she not only brushed out my extensions at the end & during the process, but she also brushed out my eyebrows during the service. the beds are comfortable, i did end up falling asleep because i was so relaxed. she also explained the after care to me, even though i have had extensions before she added in some information that i had not known before such as when i clean them to NOT brush them right after & to use my blow dryer with an arm length away on the cool setting for a good 8-10 seconds & then brush. i don't have a cool dryer that the stylists have so i found that very helpful. i loved the outcome & the experience. read more

Just moved to the area and was looking for a place that did lashes. I had lash extensions before but I didn't like how much it cost me for the maintenance. They had a good deal on getting a set of volume lashes. The front desk answered a lot of my questions and offered me a lash consult since I wasn't sure if I was going to react to the glue they use since I had allergies to certain foods and sensitive skin. In the consult, my tech recommended a test to see if I would be okay with the glue she used and asked me to call back in 24 hours to see how I'm doing. The front desk called me the next day and followed up with me. As a result, I was able to get in the next couple of day for my full set of lashes, knowing which glue to use, without the anxiety of wondering if I would have a sensitivity. I actually took a nap. The whole experience was comfortable, the staff was inviting and knowledgeable. Highly recommend and may sign up for their membership to get my touch ups every 2 -3 weeks. read more

I got a lash lift somewhere else in Henderson and they really made my lashes look awful. The day after I called The Lash Lounge and tried to get my lashes fixed and I was told I needed to wait a minimum of 6 weeks before I could fix the lash lift. 6 weeks later I showed up for my appointment. My lashes were still a mess from the previous place but The Lash Lounge was able to help me because I waited the 6 weeks. Taylor gave me a new lash lift and some tips to help her my lashes back to where I want them and I was thoroughly impressed. She was very nice and professional. What she did to me did not hurt or burn at all, unlike my first experience elsewhere. After, my lashes looked great compared to what they looked like before. She also assured me next time I get my lashes done they would look even better because the results of the first awful lash lift would be completely gone. I would definitely recommend this place for lash lifts and Taylor did an amazing job! read more

I have been getting my lashes done there for months now. The FRONT DESK is vert professional and patient. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in. They are amazing listeners and I always look forward to seeing them when I come in for my appointments. They suggested me to sign up for the membership and its been a life saver! It has saved me so much money and time. It was very clear they run a tight ship here; for example, I was told on my first service that if I experience any fallout, I can call within 3 days and get a complimentary touch up. So I called and another front desk employee picked up and knew exactly how to solve my fallout problems. As far as my stylist Brianna, I love her!! She is very gentle and knows exactly what I want. She works very quickly and efficiently. Totally worth paying the extra fee for the Senior Stylist. I will be referring all my friends and family here! read more

It was my first time getting lashes and I wasn't sure about it so when I called and told the front desk that I have sensitive skin they offered me a consult with a lash tech and told me it was free. The tech was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about skin and lashes. She recommended I come back after about a month and buy a lash serum so I had healthier and enough lashes to put lash extensions on. At first I was disappointed but I did buy the serum and when I rebooked with her after about 6 weeks, the serum really helped grow my natural lashes and she was able to do a mixed set that added some fullness to my lashes but not too much. I really love them! I'm really addicted now and I don't have to wear mascara or really any eye make-up in the morning. I've gone in to get a touch up and really considering signing up for their membership program. read more

Great customer service, great quality and great pricing. My lashes look awesome. I've been getting my lashes done for 3+ years now and just moved to NV from TX, and this is one of the best sets I've ever received. My stylist, Anna, listened to my concerns about my old stylist back in TX telling me my natural lashes wouldn't work well with a cat eye style. Anna was able to mimic a cat eye style on my outer lashes and I don't feel like it's weighing my outer corner lashes down or making my eyes appear "droopy". They look amazing! I came in for a fill and Anna was able to service me in under 45 minutes. I personally get very antsy when I have to lay down getting lashed for 2+ hours at a time, so Anna being quick but efficient is exactly what I was looking for! The salon is clean and quiet and the atmosphere is very modern and relaxing! read more

I don't normally write reviews but I feel that I should share my wonderful experience @ Lash Lounge Henderson-The District. It was very easy when I booked my appointment. More importantly, due to my age (70+) and condition (undergoing daily treatment for my rare Cancer, thus my skin being super-sensitive), I needed to have a good honest consultation. Very well-deserved FIVE STAR for my experience with Lash Lounge! I had a free honest consultation with knowledgeable and friendly staff! I was so impressed with the knowledge the lash artist had when she did my lashes. I was going to another place before but they never gave me options nor cleaned my lashes. I didn't know I had choice of curl or if I could have a choice of length. My Stylist, Taylor took the time to ask me what look I wanted and measured my eyes and showed me options. I also decided to try threading, especially after being stuck at home due to Covid. I really liked the results of threading instead of plucking my brows. They look so clean and crisp. I'm definitely going back to get my fills and get my threading done. I felt safe and the place was so clean and pleasing. It started off a little rocky because my appointment was at 12 but I think due to scheduling issues my appointment didn't start until 1230. I was on a time restraint so I had to be out by 2. I loved my aesthetician, she was personable, kind and funny. There was no awkwardness at all. She told me how much she loved her job and doing the work and that made me feel comfortable. She constantly asked me what I liked and didn't like about my brows and wanted to be sure I was happy with the results. I did leave somewhat happy with the service but due to more scheduling issues, she had a client coming in quickly and couldn't finish the tint for my brows. She did ask if I wanted it but didn't want to intrude on the next client so I agreeably refused the tint and left. My only hang up is that didn't feel prioritized and felt that I didn't get the results I wanted. I came home and played with my brows to clean them up a little more and place them they way I thought they'd look better. I do wish she had a little more experience in maping out my brows (which she did not do) and wish she had more feedback on what she thought might look better for me. She did say she refund me for not tinting my brows but after my second time for asking for a refund and not receiving it I let it go. I do feel l would recommend this studio for lashes but maybe not for brows and would say, to make sure they didn't have a time restraint. Overall, I liked my time there but think I'll go someplace else that focuses more on the service I'm looking for.

Most of my lashes had fallen put and I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. It was about two hours until they could fit me in to remove my lashes. At first the manager pulled me aside and tried to minimize my reaction, claiming it was dust that somehow caused this. After consulting with an outside lash tech, she said that the only thing this could be was expired products since I've had lashes for two years and never experienced this before. Finally, the manager conceded that it was a bad reaction but would only offer a new set, no refunds, as she stated she didn't have money to pay her staff without my payment essentially. At the end of the day, my lash removal was free but my $125 was apparently my contribution to their apparently thin margins. I think it's unfortunate that this happened to me, I'm just happy to not have lost eyesight over this fiasco. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it here. They seem to be cutting corners with (what I assume is) expired products and a slim ability to pay their people despite their high prices set to customers.
