However, my main concern was with the tinting process. I was told the tint would be left on for about 10 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30 minutes without any heads up or explanation. During that time, my eyebrows became extremely itchy, which made me uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it was a reaction or due to the tint being left on longer than expected, but it definitely didn't feel right. Everything turned out fine visually, but better communication -- especially when something changes during the service -- would have made a big difference in the overall experience.

The lady typically at the front counter was the only one present and offered to thread my brows. I requested a simple clean-up, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. She was much rougher than usual--while threading can be uncomfortable, this time it was noticeably more painful. Additionally, she removed too much hair, resulting in unevenness at the top and bottom of the brow, as shown in the attached photo. I gave three stars because I'm generally pleased with the results, but based on my last visit, I feel she should remain at the front desk and leave threading to the other staff.

Please note that Dessi is a JR lash artist. I was unaware of their tiers of lash artist. If I had I would have known, I would've asked for a senior level artist to start. The reason for 2 stars is because the Manager made it right and refunded me & the vibe of the salon was aesthetically pleasing.

Most of my lashes had fallen put and I was experiencing a severe allergic reaction. It was about two hours until they could fit me in to remove my lashes. At first the manager pulled me aside and tried to minimize my reaction, claiming it was dust that somehow caused this. After consulting with an outside lash tech, she said that the only thing this could be was expired products since I've had lashes for two years and never experienced this before. Finally, the manager conceded that it was a bad reaction but would only offer a new set, no refunds, as she stated she didn't have money to pay her staff without my payment essentially. At the end of the day, my lash removal was free but my $125 was apparently my contribution to their apparently thin margins. I think it's unfortunate that this happened to me, I'm just happy to not have lost eyesight over this fiasco. If I were you, I wouldn't risk it here. They seem to be cutting corners with (what I assume is) expired products and a slim ability to pay their people despite their high prices set to customers.

On top of that, I got the base coat using that new jelly polish and yes I know it comes kind of sheer, but when I've gotten it in the past at other salons, they just add an extra coat to make them pop more and he did not even offer it to me, I had to ask for a second coat and even with the second, they just look meh. I explained that it was my first time there and was looking for a new regular salon, so you would think he would maybe try to do a better set on me, at least to keep me coming back, but honestly this is one of the worst results from a pedicure I've ever had. If it was acceptable for me to walk out of the salon like this, I feel like it's worthy of sharing to others looking for a nail salon in the area. There are so many to pick from, just don't do this one. Paid $80 +$20 tip for these :(

My nails had filing scratches that weren't buffed out, crust left around my cuticles and underneath my nails, and way too much cuticle oil all over my fingers and palms. I looked at her disgusted in how oily my hands were and confused because I've never had an experience like this before. With an attitude I was told to just go wash my hands. I left feeling uncomfortable, disappointed, and honestly embarrassed about my nails. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
