You can't go wrong with a classic black milk tea! They make the drinks much faster than most Boba places here in Davis! Awesome start!

The first time I had Sharetea was when I was on campus, because of its location. It is situated near campus, just by the Death Star and right across the street (very convenient for students). I tried the oolong milk tea and the ice cream milk tea with green tea. The oolong milk tea was good, but not exceptional. In contrast, the ice cream milk tea was something i never heard of before or tried, which is why i decided to try it. They literally put an ice cream scoop of vanilla in the tea, i think it is used as a substitute for the milk. At first I did not like the ice cream milk tea because it just tasted plain, but as i kept mixing it up and as the ice cream melted it started to become delicious. As i kept sipping it, i would go back for more...it was delicious. SO if you guys haven't tried it out yet, do so. read more

Went to the soft opening and got an oolong tea creama and an Okinawa milk tea. The oolong tea was watered down and the Okinawa milk tea was pretty sweet and milky. The pearls were still warm and just the right amount of chew! Went a second time and tried their matcha creama. I asked the cashier if the matcha was well incorporated or if it would be really powdery and she told me it would be well dissolved so I got it. I was pretty disappointed since the matcha was still really gritty (like if you were drinking miso soup). The whole drink itself was really sweet and adding the creama on top made it even sweeter since it doesn't seem to be a sea salt creama. If I do go next time, I'll probably have to cut down on the sweetness level and stick with their brewed teas. Hopefully they'll work out the ratio of tea to water for a less watery tea! read more

sharetea is a pretty standard boba place. what i do like is the ability to customize the amount of ice and sweetness. there are a lot of options to choose from and i like that they have other options besides boba. i got milk pudding last time i went. it's close to campus and they take credit card unlike other boba places. read more

Love the milk tea and green tea! Yum. Did NOT enjoy the burnt tastinf coffee freeze. I do not recommend coffee things here.

Why was Sharetea empty on a Sunday afternoon?!? There's only one customer there. I got the oreo milk tea cause that's my go to whenever I order in the bay area. Sorry to mention, but I was not pleased cause it was super watery, not enough oreo pieces. Also, I could not taste the milk or the tea taste... read more

One of the best sharetea's I have been too. Great location as it is right next to campus so you can grab your boba fix during your short breaks. There are tables inside and outside as well so you can sit and hangout with your friends. read more

I've visited the Concord location several times so when Davis opened up this spot awhile back, I had high expectations. A few weeks after opening day, I came here with my brother and we were able to snag a 15 minute parking spot right outside. The location is convenient if you're a student and have easy accessibility by foot, otherwise don't be surprised if you need to park at the nearby park and walk. Still, not a big problem. Anyway, we ordered a Hokkaido milk tea and Okinawa milk tea after I had raved about the drinks from prior experiences at the Concord location. Such a let down! The pearls were quite decent- soft and sweet enough- but the drinks were lacking, to say the least. They tasted watered down and weren't cold even with the "regular" amount of ice. We kind of shrugged it off and figured we'd let the lackluster drinks slide since they were fairly new at the time. Fast forward to almost a year later, my brother and I decided to stop by and give this place another shot. They had a sign up about some new drinks. One was a "brown rice milk tea" or something along that name and I asked the cashier how it was, to which she replied with a "ehhhhhh" and a nervous chuckle. I don't know if that's just her personal preference, but I expected her to have some confidence in their product.... Maybe even a "if you're into those sorts of flavors it might be a good pick" sort of thing, but nope. Taro milk tea for me and an Okinawa milk tea for my brother it was. I asked if we could pay cash first and the remainder on a debit card to which they obliged but had a lot of trouble figuring out. She called over another cashier and they both fumbled with it for awhile before completing the transaction. She gave us a small "receipt" that only had the order number on it, so I wasn't sure she even rang the correct balance onto the card so I had to double check my account. Drinks were very diluted again and lacking in flavor in all ways. Taro was way too subtle (I'm not the biggest taro connoisseur but even as a "taro novice" I found it lackluster), and the Okinawa was ordered at 80% sweetness but the brown sugar-ness of the drink left a lot to be desired. Drinks weren't refreshing either. Maybe a touch cooler than lukewarm. I'm not one to waste my drinks but it was more of a task to finish the taro milk tea than it was enjoyable... So I ended up tossing the last sips. Overall another disappointing trip to add to my Davis Sharetea experiences. Maybe third time will be the charm? read more

I got the Ice Cream black milk tea. Initially, the black tea seemed too steeped, in my opinion. However, when the ice cream melted, it decreased the bitterness, and tasted a lot better. Because the vanilla ice cream is sweet, I suggest decreasing your usual sweetness for the milk tea. read more

Boba is fine, but the student workers are rude and slow. Would rather pay the extra dollar and buy from iTea (which is right next door). Low ratings due to the poor customer service and I have been to this place at least forty times. It just gets worse and worse when the manager is not around. read more

Went here last week when they weren't busy but was too disappointed with my drink. Got a matcha milk tea that was WAYYYY tooo bitter. I get that matcha is supposed to be a little bitter but my drink was super bitter. Didn't even finish the drink and ended up wasting $4 for the drink. Worst part, told the workers that it was way too bitter. And they started talking on a different language and all i could understand was "matcha"..."bitter" SMH, if you have something to say, say it in my face instead. That way i'd understand better why the drink turned out to be that way. Overall, i dont recommend this place. Just go to Mandro read more

It is really good! Except that the regular sweetness is very sweet for me. I usually enjoy going with 30% sweetness. Fresh taro milk is the bomb!! read more

Delicious snacks and delicious drinks, just love this place, definitely recommend for friends. thank you

Whenever I'm in the mood for a fruit flavored milk tea I come here. The mango green milk tea and the peach green milk tea are definite winners. This place is priced higher than the Old Tea House, Teabo, and MandRo but not by much. read more

Most of the stars are for the location convenience. The actual drinks are pretty average, nothing special.

Not my favorite boba place, but whenever I go, I get the passionfruit green tea or peach green tea with lychee jelly. I feel like the quality of ShareTea in Davis isn't as good as the ones in Berkeley or San Jose, but that might just be me. read more

I think the best part about this place is how close it is to campus. Otherwise it is just an average place.

Tea is sometimes inconsistent and always too sweet. The boba however is spot on. Try getting less ice less sugar and it gets a lot better.

I had the taro milk tea and honestly it wasn't even average. My friend had the mango tea which sorta tasted like perfume, the syrup had clumped up and we had to throw it away. read more

In my opinion, Sharetea is the best Milk Tea shop in Davis. Drinks are flavorful and cheap. Also, the staff is friendly and they make the drinks really fast. Sharetea is located right next to campus, so that is a big plus. I also like that they have a rewards program, with the 12th drink being free. I definitely recommend the Passionfruit green tea with lychee jelly or the Matcha green tea creama. read more

Not the greatest, pretty pricey. But service is quick & it's convenient for Davis students.

Great location - very close to campus. Everything is a little too pricey, but it's understandable because they're new and need to cover the costs of starting up. The boba is average. read more

I ordered the black sesame bubble tea with less sweet, it was actually less sweet! FINALLY! Usually businesses still make it over sweet so Tia was great. I think it was 3.50 for a large tea , their only size. Great ambiance with fast and friendly service. From Taiwan too! read more

A nice go to place for boba if you're near the Quad area in Davis. I've only ever had the milk tea here, but it has my approval! Compared to the other trendy new drink places opening up, I personally like it when I can actually taste the tea in my drink, and they do it nicely and even have special accommodations for the amount of sugar and ice in your drink. The interior design is trendy and popping with vibrant colors and wall art. It's small, but I guess that's what makes it cozy. They also have a non-smoking outdoor seating area in front. The workers are nice, and I have never had a bad experience there. read more

do not order tea eegs. they are not fresh and overcooked. i'm just hoping i won't get food poisoned from the eggs....

While not the best boba in town, Sharetea offers a decent amount of boba/jelly/milk tea for your buck. Flavor is good and they offer less ice options if you want even more of your drink. The only downside to that is that if you order milk tea, it gets warm pretty quick. Less sweetness options are abound as well. The service is fast on most days and there is only a wait if there are a ton of people around. I would avoid going between 12-2pm to miss the crowd. It is a little pricer than other boba joints around Davis, but for the location right on the edge of downtown and campus as well as the cute atmosphere, you can't go wrong with Sharetea :). read more

This is one of the better boba place in Davis. However the downside is a bit on the expensive side. Personally I think it's worth to go the extra mile since it's hard to find a place like this. read more

I went here soon after it opened, and it smelled like a dirty bathroom on the inside. Definitely not a place I would stay at or meet anyone at, but if it had good milktea the location could make it a place worth going to. But nah, the tea isn't so great. They asked me what level of sweetness, I said 'normal' which apparently means 1000% sugar. Maybe my sugar tolerance is lower than most people, idk, just wow I couldn't even finish the drink (and it was like 8oz!). Teabo cafe all day, would rather take W line to south davis than go here, its worth the extra time imo read more

I have been to the Sharetea in Berkeley and Concord numerous times, so when I discovered the Davis location I was very excited to try it out. It did not let me down! I usually get their classic green milk tea w/ boba, but I have also ordered the matcha fresh milk and the mango green milk tea. They are all very good, and I'm hoping to try one of their ice blended drinks next. Such a convenient location for Davis students; it only takes a couple minutes to bike there from classes. Not to mention its a great study spot! Avoid going around 2:30-3 bc thats when it gets very busy. All in all I love this Sharetea Location! read more

The most bitter Hokkaido milktea ever. Sorry but this place doesn't even know what milktea suppose to taste like. Threw in the garbage after the first sip. They are under the same management as Tea One which is the worst milktea place in Davis. Also, the monolid Asian girl with glasses gave me an attitude for no reason. Super rude. Never coming back. Bye. read more

The service at sharetea is horrible. they're really disrespectful and their employees don't know how to treat customers. After I went in there and ordered my drink, first off they took at least 30 minutes to make the drink and they didn't even give me the right one. after i had gone up and told them it was the wrong drink they told me That I was wrong and refused to give me the right order. They even went as far as to say that I would have to order a whole new drink and pay again. Not to mention too that their prices are higher than the other local tea spots. I had to show them my receipt to prove they had gotten my order wrong and even after that they were rude and disrespectful and blamed me as if it were my mistake. it again took them forever to make the drink and it didn't taste good. when they gave me the drink the employee straight up told me to "not come back here" again. I am a very polite customer but I must say I am appalled by their service. I would not recommend coming here. I strongly dislike this place and would give it 0 stars if possible. read more

They offer overpriced bubble tea. They know it's convenient and jack up the prices! The workers were awkward and didn't know the product they were serving. The place smelled kinda bad, and they don't even have a bathroom! Would never go back! Besides the terrible service they take forever with your order. read more

March 26, 2016 I went to BISTRO 33 in Davis, California at 3:00 pm, March 26, 2016. I asked the waiter if it was 3:00 pm yet? This is the start of Happy Hour at this Bar/Restaurant. He said YES before I started to order. First I asked for a glass of water with lemon but no straw, spoon or sweeteners. He served me the water without the lemon. I went to the area in the bar where the lemons are kept and helped myself to a lemon slice. Then, I asked for a glass of Rodney Strong Cabernet wine. The waiter provided it. Then I asked for a food order of Italian Pizza on flat bread with the Happy Hour Price. The waiter provided the food order as requested. The dispute is over the price of the wine-by-glass. The waiter insisted that I ordered the wine prior to the beginning of HappynHour. I was careful to request the time of day before I ordered anything. The waiter disputes that. The allegation by the waiter is very HATEFUL TO ME. Basically,Mae is calling me a "liar" . I protest the way I was treated by the waiter at Bistro 33 in Davis, California. read more

oh HAYYY, I see you, Davis! ;) ...And suddenly, just like that, UC Davis has become a relevant contender for college campuses you MIGHT JUST WANT to attend. Since I am no longer in the area, I had no idea where Sharetea was located -- thank goodness my predominantly-Asian, eclectic little family of misfits did. Upon learning of it's location, I was honestly a little weirded-out. Oshio cafe?? Really? You mean the awkward Japanese restaurant that everyone used to pass but never went into...? ...Interesting. On this particular Saturday evening, the location was almost EMPTY, a stark distinction from many of the reviews about opening day (....nothing quite like that Davis-hype huh??). The location wasn't nearly as awkward as I imagined in my head and if anything, its, as others mentioned, CONVENIENT for STUDENTS!! Maybe now, finally, we'll stop seeing all those HUGE, over-sized watered down cups of milk tea from Open Rice on campus. Among my group, we ordered the Okinawa MT, the Black Sesame MT, some lemon-green tea drink (?), and the Peach Green MT. The Okinawa was clearly the standout favorite among my friends -- strong and sweet. Admittedly, I also actually took a liking to the lemon-green tea drink as well (refreshing, although I wouldn't necessarily order it if I were craving *boba*). Black sesame was good -- there was actual black sesame blended into the drink, not simply flavored as so. ***A caution to all of you date-goers however, the black sesame very easily gets stuck in teeth -- a fact my baby-faced, consecrated-no-longer little friend immediately discovered. I didn't try the Peach Green MT but I didn't hear any complaints from my fiery-freshman turned sulky-sophomore (a Korean So-Cal resident with standards for FOOD as high as his HAIR). Overall, I like ShareTea better than Mandro (ESPECIALLY since they don't have mango sago anymore...). To me, Mandro's milk tea is a little too "flower-y" while ShareTea has a stronger, "truer" TEA flavor. The pricing, as other's mentioned, is high, although perhaps only slightly higher than Mandro's pricing? I, for one am proud of this location -- convenient walk to/from campus, and delicious MT. read more

The worst sharetea I've ever had. I had gave it some many chances but each time makes me disappointed. Sharetea in other location is way much better than this store. I believe it's due to the employees' brewing techniques and tea quality which gives their milktea the terrible flavor. read more

Pretty expensive for boba and they only give you an option of 1 size which is pretty much large. I got mango black tea with lychee jelly and it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Inside the place is small so it's not a place to study, more of a place to hang out. I'll probably only go here during times that I am extremely craving boba but besides that, paying $5 for a drink? No thanks read more

This place is convenient, right across the street from campus. I came here a few days ago, the line was out the door. The wait wasn't long and the cashier was friendly, she was the chubby Asian girl with thick black glasses. I ordered the honey milk tea and I love it. It had strong tea flavor and I can also taste the honey. I want to try the ice cream milk tea but it's currently unavailable. read more

Service was good compare to other boba shops and I hate to say this but their boba milk tea is realllly unpleasant-it doesn't taste anything like it. Ugh! I was really looking forward to a new boba place because I will never again go to 'Bambu'. BUT since Sharetea's service was impeccable I may try some other drink and give them another try. read more

Not too shabs! I've heard of Sharetea plentyyyyy in the Bay Area, and I had not realized there was now a location in Davis conveniently next to campus. Located on the corner of A and 3rd streets, Sharetea is a much better option for boba versus Quickly and The Old Teahouse which have dominated the market in Davis for a long time. I stopped in here on a Saturday night, and yes... there was quite the crowd of teens (high school versus college, I couldn't tell to be honest.... I just felt old.) but the line moves quickly. The space is located down a set of stairs in the sunken area of a two story plaza. There are some tables outside and inside as well. There is one main menu board close to the register and also some handheld ones that are floating around. Tons of choices in terms of milk teas, iced teas and such. You are allowed a free topping in the beverage of your choice including boba, ice cream and pudding. The regular drink size is sizeable... you are also allowed to choice how much ice [regular, light, or none (for a fee)] and also the level of sweetness. I had the peach green milk tea with boba, light ice and half sweet. It was the perfect amount of sweetness without overpowering the tea. The boba is fresh and chewy and nothing about the drink tasted powdery. Excited to see a Sharetea in the valley and would recommend it! read more

This place is pretty good. The drinks aren't too sweet and there are variety of choices, if you don't want too much sugar or ice. I've tried other Shareteas in other locations such as San Francisco and Union City and they are all pretty consistent in delivery. Personally, I tend to like sweet things, so I would order the Okinawa and Hokkaido. Nice big caramel flavor and the boba balls are warm and nice to chew. For those who don't have much of a sweet tooth, I would recommend the High Mountain Tea/Milk Tea, or the Sesame Milk Tea. The best I've had so far is either Okinawa or Hokkaido with boba, served warm. The drinks aren't sweet and the boba balls are really nice, warm and chewy. Kind of like eating some warm pudding on the go. Service is nice and fast, and the drinks come out in about 3-5 minutes. This place is a little bit more expensive, compared to the other boba places in Davis. However, the price difference is probably about 25-50 cents. I will say it's definitely better than the boba that is served in the CoHo on the university campus. So for those who are craving boba and are on UCD campus, you can go to Sharetea! read more
