Love this newer location: the facility, the design, the service and the food! Has a lovely patio despite it being in a busy section of town. Our party of eight called ahead and asked if they accommodate dogs on the patio and they had our table and a dog's water now all ready for us! Delicious coffee drinks, blue corn piñon pancakes, green chile hash browns, chilaquiles, regular pancakes (which are HUGE), biscuits and gravy, and a tasty southwestern bowl. We love that they have vegetarian and vegan options. Something for everyone at this homegrown New Mexican restaurant!

It's been 7yrs since our last visit. Maybe it's time to revisit. Here we are, Saturday morning and it's busy. Maybe a good sign? A couple of things that catch my eye in the lunch menu. But it's too early. I spied the Chilaquiles and decided that was the way to go. The flavor was good, fresh fried tortilla chips, plenty of cheese, half an avocado with eggs on top. The green chile on the side added to the taste. The wife got the Southwest Bowl - flavorful, with tasty veggies, green chile sausage, eggs, pico de gallo & cojita cheese. Service was excellent. This was a far different experience from our first time.

My friend who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico recommended this place for lunch. She frequently eats here and enjoys the food and atmosphere and she's right. The decor is quirky and fun which really appeals to me. Plenty of seating and plenty of parking space outside. There's a bar on one side of the restaurant. We ordered a burger and also taco plates that were fresh and delicious. The menu had a nice variety of food to choose from. The waitress was friendly and nice. In one corner, there's some unique gifts for purchase. The walls had colorful art hanging up from a local artist available to buy. There were bakery items to pick from too. I never heard of this chain and surprise to know they are also located in my state of Colorado. Definitely going back.

We go here often. Generally it's really great and consistent. Service typically good, too. Their desserts are amazing albeit expensive. We've been to all of the Range Cafes, they are amazingly consistent in quality across the locations.

I think I could've made this better at home. I wasn't impressed with the flavor or texture of this meal. the service was super slow, but friendly. our food took probably about 30 mins to come out and refills weren't offered until we had finished all of the food. everyone else at my table seemed to enjoy.

5 stars for the 3-6PM happy hour at Range Cafe on Coors Blvd As of Dec 2024, that's $5 beers and $6 nachos (veg or non-veg). Rejoice! And they call happy hour "Happy Hora" which is a ridiculous Spanish cherry-pick and I freaking love it. If you give this place 3 stars, as some do for service apparently, I suggest you specify that it's not for happy hour so that mngmt doesn't discontinue the special. If one must nitpick, complain that the best t-shirts they sell aren't available in S M L sizes. Keep it real,H-Hora playa'.

Amazing service! Loved the hot turkey plate and cream puff! Will come again just for the cream puff.

Had the dirty chia and eggs Benedict.

I got the green chili burger with bacon and it was delicious. It was a bit pink- more than I like but I ate it and it was yummy. No ketchup needed. Very much New Mexico and full of flavor. We had to get shakes since they were recommended by the staff at the hotel. I would have gotten it anyway cause this seemed like the perfect place for it. They were think and so good. I saw some other desserts and I think I might have rolled over in my seat if I even tried them. They were huge! I got 3 glasses of shake and after a half marathon, it was well earned. My friend had the fish and chips and malt. She lived both. My shake wasn't fully mixed with peanut butter but it was still thickly delicious. I'd go back for a burger and shake fix. Might need my prom dress next time.

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. Five star service and food. I highly recommend Vick's Vittles and hope that I'm in the area again so I can try more of this delicious food.

Placed our order, had to correct the waitress several time on our order. Waited quite awhile, long enough to need more coffee. None was coming so had to call out to another waitress to get more. Our waitress did come back to bring the coffee. Before she got there we were discussing the fact that the entire staff was new. She must have overheard us and took it as some kind of slight to her. Two minutes later the manager came over to inform us that we were being rude to her server and that she would be taking over our service. After some discussion my wife said, "this is ridiculous, guess we won't be coming here again" the manager said "well I'll cancel your order and you can leave now". We said we didnt want her to cancel our order and she just said have a nice day. So we left. Sooo not the Vicks Vittles of the past.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming and attentive without ever feeling intrusive.
