Came for a late lunch and was happy with the overall environment. The staff was friendly the patrons eating were friendly so great environment. Got the club which was delicious! So much food! Will absolutely come back!!

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Orders were taken quickly & efficiently. Building had lots of parking, but not recommended for RVs. Interior was very nice, old school cafe look. Food had a great taste & plenty of it. Very much an older clientele. Lots of room for a large group, if you call ahead. This is a busy place. Give them a shot.

Hubby and I came on a cold evening. I wanted comfort food, and we got a warm hug in the cozy down home dining room with Cracker Barrel Style vibes, but unique to Christie's. We were served by a young, personable and attentive waiter who confirmed the chicken pot pie was as excellent choice. Everything was fantastic! 5/5 will return

Ordered the Jane's Way chopped steak ( this is 1/3) Delicious! I went and picked it up. It was so warm and so fresh when I got home!!

I went here for lunch on September 16, 2025. My first visit. There's a lot of parking available and good signage. Inside there are nice big windows resulting in lots of natural light. The decor is casual. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu is an interesting blend of American diner food with Mexican food choices. The special today was tuna melt, and I had it with a side of potato salad. My dining companion had a very lovely sandwich called the harvest. You can see from the photos, that it's stacked high with lots of different vegetables and she described it as delicious. The tuna melt was nicely done and I really enjoyed the potato salad. It had a little bit of celery in it to give us some crunch and interest. Prices are reasonable.

Christy Mae's serves up exactly what you'd expect from an All American diner! My friends and I were craving a cozy meal, and we all came for the chicken pot pie. We stopped by on a Friday evening and received prompt and friendly service. Even though Christy Mae closes relatively early (~8pm), our group appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality from start to finish, despite arriving later than we hoped. By the time we placed our order, Christy Mae's only had one chicken pot pie available, which I was lucky to enjoy as an out-of-state guest. My two friends ordered the Turkey and Green Chile Pot Pie, which our server suggested and spoke highly of! Portions were huge, and our meals were well priced. If I could change anything, I'd recommend more seasoning, but overall, I left very satisfied!

Had a rebate thru the upside app. So I decided to give it a try. They have a pretty good size menu. I got the chicken fried steak with corn on the cob and mashed. It was delicious and came out pretty fast. The service was excellent and the place was clean

I had the lighter side half le chicken croissant sandwich & cup of green chili chicken soup. Was so good. I had good service. The waitress was so nice refilling my water with lemon and doing my takeout order.

Lunchtime & here we are. this place is good ole country style comfort food. A break from places we normally go to. Lots on the menu. In addition to comfort food, NM cuisine is represented. It's the Reuben Sandwich and Chicken Tenders. The Reuben Sandwich was piled high with primarily meat. It almost seems like veggies were an afterthought. Of course there's another slice of bread in between The piles of meat. Mine was messy - for me not a bad thing. It was definitely moist. The tenders were good, & moist. Their consistency was similar to what you might get from some fast food places. Again not a complaint. I can see why they're busy and been around for 40 yrs. Good service from friendly servers, country kitchen atmosphere with excellent comfort food.

Le Fritter - A ceramic plate holds a cheeseburger with a toasted bun, melted cheese, and a beef patty. Accompanying the burger are sliced red onions, tomato slices, and a serving of potato salad with visible potato chunks and mayonnaise. The plate is placed on a wooden surface, with a knife partially under the burger.

I was looking forward to eating here as it has been several years since I've had my favorite chicken salad croissant sandwich. Disappointed to say that they no longer serve it with alfalfa sprouts nor walnuts in their homemade mixture. Had a side of potato salad and it was pretty bland. BFF had a country fried steak sandwich with a side of potato salad and he said it was good but not anything to write home about. As for service, it wasn't bad but it was a little slow; however, they were busy.

Cup of Cream of Chicken w/Green Chile Soup - A ceramic bowl filled with cream of chicken with green chile soup sits on a red paper napkin on a wooden table. The soup appears creamy with visible green herbs and chunks of chicken or vegetables. A metal spoon is partially submerged in the soup. In the background, there are some packaged bread or crackers and part of a person's arm is visible at the top of the image.

We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.

I believe we all liked the interior deco and the ambiance of the place. The oak floors are truly beautiful. The lighting is a bit intimate which I prefer to high intensity lighting. The drink menus were alright. My friends loved the martinis and cocktails. I found the beer options to be limited. The one wine I wanted to try was unavailable, but I found another and had 2 glasses. The wines are priced at an acceptable range ($7-10). The food menu is a bit limited, but we all found something to eat. I opted for just an appetizer (artichoke + pita). One lady had their pasole, which I guess was the soup of the day. She thought it too spicy. The three other folks had salads, entrees, and dessert. BTW, they did not have an actual dessert menu but the server listed several options which they found appealing. So, the guy who had the ribeye steak ($54) though it just ok. In fact, he took most of it home. The other two had the elk medallions ($30). They found the portions of elk to be sort of tiny. They thought the potatoes were excellent. They sauce that smothered the elk was pretty spicy, or so I was told. Would we return? Sure. I would give it another try. How was service? Good and a bit slow coming out of the kitchen. How busy? When we arrived we were the first there. Several tables filled within the 2 hours of our stay. I feel this newer addition to Nob Hill is still trying to find its niche amongst a large array of eat-and-drink establishments. I hope it finds its true identity as a unique brand and that they survive long term.

The interior decor is also really nice with the High Desert vibes you would expect from the name. We each had one of the specialty burgers (Valley burger and I forget the name of the other one). They were both very tasty and the portions were generous. They have amazing fries- both the regular and sweet potato. Service was great (it was so busy we had to sit at the bar since we were in a little bit of a hurry). The encrusted brie was a crowd favorite (who doesn't love fried cheese?) but I thought the addition of bread was unnecessary when the brie provided its own crispy texture. The mussels were good but a little spicy so beware! The sopaipilla was my least favorite dish. They served bite sized sopaipillas with cheese on top. A delicious idea but the sopaipilla was chewy and flat rather than fluffy. All entrees come with the option of a soup or salad. French Onion Soup: This was my side of choice and it was super salty. Norwegian Salmon: The salmon was perfectly cooked. It was flaky and moist but had crispy skin. The saffron tomato risotto that came with it was undercooked. The Farm: This comes with duck leg confit, lamb chop, and rotating protein (elk for our meal). Each meat was perfectly cooked. The duck meat fell off the bone easily and was succulent. The lamb chop and elk were tender and not overcooked. The green chile risotto that came with it was quite spicy! However, it does seem variable as others had the same side but it was less spicy.
