Although I was about to purchase a hot tub from a large, well known dealer in Corona, I decided to look at Custom Spas Direct, which has good online reviews and happens to be very close to our house. I'm glad I did. I was not familiar with the Vita spa brand that Custom Spas Direct sells. There's very little information available online. After doing some digging, I determined that Vita is a decent, mid-range spa with competitive pricing. Nothing fancy, but it's built with good components from companies like Balboa Water Group. Dealing with Custom Spas Direct has been fantastic. It's a small company and we interacted directly with Jim Galpin, the owner. Jim is a straightforward guy and he was very helpful in choosing a spa. Since I was unfamiliar with Vita, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. He quickly responded whenever I sent him a text with a question or request. After the purchase, he was super flexible with regard to delivery, setup timing, coordinating with the electrician's schedule, etc. The delivery and setup was quick and well done. The installer did a good job answering all of my questions. We've had the spa six months and have had a couple of minor issues. One was probably due to user error on my part and the other was not. In both cases, Jim responded to my texts immediately and quickly resolved my issue, even during a holiday week. RYAN responded, conducted an inspection of the spa, and suggested a "clean sweep" service, which included cleaning the interior and exterior of the spa cabinet, removing pest evidence, replacing a non-working part, draining the spa, cleaning it, refilling it, and getting the chemicals back in order. RYAN was very knowledgable and friendly. Regarding the cost, it was very reasonable. At no time did it appear RYAN was trying to sale anything; just an honest inspection without any hidden fees. In addition, we were able to have the work scheduled and completed within two days. At the conclusion of the work, RYAN provided before and after photos. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I will not recommend Premier Pools & Spas. You also never mentioned to me, prior to excavation or even before I accepted the project proposal, that I needed to hire a plumber to handle or standby for possible gas or water line issues. What was communicated to me was that your team was aware there could be unknown lines and that caution would be used during excavation. We bought our hot tub last month after several months of scouting from different vendors. Gloria…read morewas the Sales Manager who accommodated us and she was great from start till now (every now and then I'd call/tx being a first time hot tub owner and she would take time to answer all questions and make some recommendations). We wanted a WiFi on the hot tub that we liked and Gloria made it happen by placing one for the first time. Upon delivery, the guys Eddie or Edward, Elio and Daniel (sorry if I forgot the names) were also very good. However, the hot tub stopped working when they turned on the high jets. I was nervous thinking the tub might be a lemon. They changed the fuse and it worked. We decided to buy the Aqua Lounge Plug N' Play so it took the next day for us to soak wt the desired temp. Then we had another setback when the tub stopped working again once the high jets were turned on. The bluetooth of the hot tub was still working fine so it meant that it was not our electrical/outlet problem. At that time, we were really nervous and sent a tx msg to Gloria that night. She texted back, "don't worry, we got your back". We wanted the tech to come over the next day but they couldn't so I was a bit frustrated as we were having a family event that weekend. The tech Vincent finally came after a week and did a few tests and tightened the fuse holder and it worked. He also recommended to place a 30 amp outlet. It's been two weeks and we haven't changed into a 30 amp outlet yet and the tub is still running great! Aside from the competitive pricing among other vendors, we are very pleased with the after sales service. I hope that the tub's fuse won't blow off again but God forbids it will, I know that Gloria and her team is just a phone call away. So yeah, go buy your hot tub to this branch and ask for the famous Gloria that every happy buyer is raving about!

They sent out their technician and he identified there was a problem with the motor and it needed to be replaced. The issue was the warranty is with Hayward and Dennis explained to me that I would need to contact them for the warranty. Fast forward, I went to pick up my repaired pool cleaner at the store and expressed that it was a little inconvenient for me to contact Hayward for the warranty and that I had purchased the cleaner from Gary's. Dennis, heard and understood what I was saying and told me to not worry about it and take the vacuum. That is not what I expected and really appreciate him taking the time to hear my story. I tried to pay him for his service still but he told me to pay him when I get my warranty settled with Hayward. I was surprised by this level of service and even though I tried to pay him still, he would not take the payment and shut off his computer. Thanks Gary's, I will keep coming back for my pool needs.
