Horrible job! Contracted to acid wash our pool. Mark left several of his shoe prints on our concrete (guess he got the acid on his shoe). After his pump drained the water from the pool it leaked oil all over the bottom of our pool approx. 18" x 3 '. He did not treat this spot and refilled out pool with water. We now have beautifully acid washed pool walls and several new stains. Our pool is not new but it looks terrible. In discussion with Mark about the stains he remarked, that our pool is not new and would show some wear. I would not recommend him since he will not restore or correct his own mistakes which have nothing to do with the age of our pool. Sorry Mark but I don't want someone else to have this experience, especially when you won't correct your errors. Yes and you were very well paid (full asking price) since we also bought a new pool pump from you. The electrician installer was excellent and knew his job. He was contracted by Mark to install the equipment. I have never posted a yelp review but this is on my mind every time I walk out to my pool. Not happy with service at all. In the beginning things seemed to be going good, and then we needed to have our heater fixed. So I trusted that the person that he sent to my house knew what they were doing. It was the most horrifying experience I've ever had we are lucky that they didn't blow our house up. We were sitting at the kitchen table, and we heard a thrust and then a woosh. As we turn our heads we see a layer of gas floating in the air over by the pool equipment. Then before we can get out side it happens again. Luckily no one got hurt, but it cost me $750 for this nonsense. Not only was my heater still broken, but after they got done with it we were never able to use it again. Not a good company. Use them at your own risk. read more

Mark was working on a neighbors pool and they mentioned to us how good he was, and that he even went so far as to replace a hose that his guys had damaged a bit without even being asked. Mark is a very honest and nice guy, and I could not recommend him enough. He ended up re plastering our pool too, and although we had an issue with the tile that the plaster guys didn't follow through on because we were out of town when they did it, so it was more difficult to manage from afar, he did his best to fix it. Our pool was turning into a swamp, and since he had already given us an estimate, I called him and he took care of it right away, moving other things around so that they could get to it as soon as possible. I live in Rancho Cucamonga. I was very disappointed with Marks Pools. I called them to fix two values for my spa to work the jets. The technician came out replace both values but left a nail sticking out of the values. I called Mark, he sent another technical out and this time he said those type of values shouldn't have been placed that he would raise the values to be outside on the cement and cover. This would be an extra cost to me. I already paid for values that they didn't fix why would i need to pay for new values. I talked to Mark about this and i still got nowhere. I am left without jets for my spa. It will cost me more money to find another trustworthy pool company to fix this, but now i'm not trusting anyone. Good luck if you choose marks pools. read more
