****Please read this, it will save you a lot of grief*** I used this service for over a year. They would charge me more than the quoted price because there was always something wrong with the pool. I didn't think much of it because the house was vacant and I just needed to keep it looking nice. I should have realized something was wrong when the gardener told me the pool water was low. I called the pool guy and he told me there was probably a crack in the pool. I immediately called a leak detection service who came and and did a full inspection for $450. In the end they said there was no leak. The problem was the drain in spill off for the infinity pool was not being cleaned properly so the water was over flowing. I basically had to pay $450 dollars because Trueblue was not doing their job properly. I told Barry this and he didn't offer to pay any part of the leak check cost. About 3 weeks ago I went to the house and I saw the pool was completely green. Barry recommended we shock the pool for $292. I told them to go ahead and do it. I stopped by again the following week and the pool was even greener than last week. Trueblue already charged my CC by this time even though no work was done. Barry told me he will look into this and possibly refund a portion if no work was done. Really? Just a portion for no work? He then texted me back and said the work couldn't be done because there was a broken pump propeller. What Barry didn't know is the the pool tech already texted me that he apologized for not being able to make it out there to do the shock treatment. Barry was trying to charge me to fix a perfectly working pump properly. Even after I told him the shock treatment wasn't done because the tech never came out, he still wouldn't give me a refund. I decided this was the last straw, so I canceled service. They billed me for the full month of August but didn't come out once. If they stop by, they would have seen the green pool instead of having to hear about it from me. He also refused to refund my august service fee even though no work was done. These guys are dishonest and will take your money and do zero work. I've included my invoice for the shock treatment so Barry can't say I wasn't a customer of his, like he did to another person posting a bad review. read more

This is the absolute worst company! Please do yourself a favor and do not use them. Barry sounds sweet and professional, but that's before he messed up. He takes more time lying, then being professional, and trying to solve the problem. He sent a kid over to drain my pool and caused my backyard to collapse. They are supposed to check on it the day of and the day after, but they did not return to check on it until two days later the kid Noah claims that I told him to drain it in into the backyard which I did not. True blue being a professional company should know the proper placement of the drain holes. Why should they take advice from me? As you can see from the pictures, he put the holes right next to my supporting wall, which caused the area to collapse. Afterwards, he also claimed concrete was already cracked, which I also showed him pictures with specific dates showing the concrete was not cracked. He also claims that we did not have an active work order because I did not pay him before hand. However, on the day of service, they did not request payment and I did agree to pay him after the work is complete. The work is never completed because of the damage. We do have an active contract. He also claimed the kid who drained my pool is an independent contractor however I have recordings on Ring with him admitting that he works for Barry and he went to pick up his girlfriend when he was supposed to come back and check on pool. *Update, Barry responded saying our damage was already there? I live on a hill side HOW does it get flooded? WHY would I tell you to drain to an areas that's already damaged? So you are saying your worker have no expertise and common sense of their own they drain to damaged areas? Excuse me, I sent you numerous videos showing you the condition of my backyard before your service of how there was NO damage. And I uploaded photos on Yelp. After the incident, DID you try to help me? You ignored my messages and pushed off responsibility. Your worker damaged the area and then you said he is independent contractors. Is the kid even licensed? BTW, do you even have insurance? I NEVER even called any insurance company, there wasn't any claim filed. Can you provide the claim number that got denied? Because you did not provide insurance info, I had no choice but to file a bond. Damaging property is a violation of the bond. I have pages of text messaging history with our conversation you really want me to upload them??? How many times I asked you to come and check it out? Asked for a quote to clean the pool. They sent a service contract. I asked them to come and check the pool in person so that the quote is accurate. They want $60 to come and check the pool to give a quote. My pool's condition is not good and typically when the pool company checks the pool they charge me extra. That is the reason why I always want them to check the pool, its condition and issues so that I can get an accurate quote. Asking to sign the service contract or charging $60 to give an accurate quote is ridiculous. It shows their careless mentality. Anyway, staying away from this company is better. read more
