Monday night lobster special
Elaine F.

We met friends for dinner tonight at Rams Head Road House. It was a lovely evening, so we sat outside (they have umbrella tables). They have various specials throughout the week, and Monday night is Lobster Night. For $29, you get a 1 1/2 lb lobster with drawn butter, an ear of sweet corn, and a baked potato, plus a good-sized house garden or ceasar salad. It was all well done, and the server was pleasant. We shared the fried green tomato appetizer, which was ok. All the food came out promptly. We will be back!

My family and I dined here this past Wednesday night. We really had a great time. Place was packed with customers and generally had a laid back vibe to it. They have several specials available throughout the week. Sunday is burger night for $6. Tuesday is prime rib night and Wednesday night is kids eat free with a purchase of an entree. The only negative we had was we waited over 10 minutes to be greeted. With kids, that can spell disaster! A gentleman server approached us named Matt. He decided to take our table and provided Excellent Service. We just chalked it up to a misunderstanding. Our food was delicious! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Thank you so much for being open during the pandemic. Using a after market delivery service I placed an order with Rams head roadhouse for a Nashville chicken sandwich and fries. A bit skeptical that when the meal would be delivered it would be either soggy and cold or dried out, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the sandwich was piping hot and the fries were crisp. I've eaten some Nashville chicken around the United States and I have to admit the spices are mild and smooth, with a hint of tang to it. The bun, lettuce, tomato and pickles were crisp, fresh and flavorful. Love at first bite. The sandwich was an instant hit, I will be ordering it in the future. Now on to the french fries how can you go wrong with hand cut fresh cooked lightly salted potato spears. These french fries might be some of the best in Annapolis. That includes some of the big chain stores. If you wanna be local friendly during the pandemic order from the roadhouse, their menu is eclectic, local sourced, and extremely flavorful. Thank you so much for a great meal.

Great Food, Good service. Happy hour 3:00 to 6:00 Monday thru Friday with 1/2 price appetizers and reduced prices on Beers on tap. Indoor and outdoor seating. All their appetizers are excellent. Some of our favorites are Ahi Tuna, Fried Green Tomatoes, Shrimp Toast and the Rockfish Bites.

We picked a lovely day to go out and eat. I really wanted to eat somewhere outdoors given the absolute perfection of the day. We settled for Rams Head roadhouse. Right off the bat We were seated outside and the spot had a bit of sun but nothing terrible. A young lady (our server) asked if we were comfortable there. We said it was OK but she offered to clean the nearby table that was a bit more shaded. We happily moved and continued to order up everything. We got an order of Ahi tuna and I ordered the Nashville chicken and my lovely ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap special with perogies. Everything was delicious! Its been awhile since I have been in a rams head establishment and I wasn't let down. Plus our server, and gosh I wish I could remember her name, was amazing. A young lady with red hair. Very very friendly and helpful! We will be back because everything was delicious.

Another great happy hour at Rams Head Roadhouse bar with my son. Great 1/2 price deal on apps. I had the tuna fish with ginger and 'wasabi' and we each had a set of wings. My son also had a non-HH burger with the really good bacon on it. All of it was prepared just like we like it and it came out fast while we enjoyed delicious Fordham-Dominion drinks on HH special. The bartenders, as usual, took great care of us and were friendly and fast. We enjoy the familiar, 'local' atmosphere of the place.

Ask the Community - Rams Head Roadhouse

Is this a good place to watch Thursday or Sunday Night Football? When visiting the parents who live nearby I'd like a good Ole watering hole with friendly clientelle to escape to and catch the game as needed.

How's the parking here?

Parking? I certainly had no problem with this aspect. Whether there are busier times? -Surely, but at the time I was there the place was packed and I found a space without… Read more

About a 1-1.5: Sorry, Taqueria El Primo, it's all you, not me…read more We made the trek to check this taco truck out, seeing that they had some great reviews, especially for their birria that's served on the weekends. Their menu offers various tacos, American-style tacos, grilled entrees, tortas, and even kid options. We ordered: +an order of tacos - I liked that they allowed you to mix-and-match, which was nice; we had 2 of the Asada and 2 of the Pollo +an order of birria - you can ask for a taco version or a quesabirria version, in which we opted for the taco version +guava juice - generous pour in the container, but this was super watered down/diluted The chicken tacos were pretty inedible - honestly, it was one of the worst chicken tacos we've ever had from a food truck. The chicken just had an off-putting taste to them, but also that they were super bland and had a weird texture. The carne asada was okay, but it could have used more seasoning. The tortillas that were used were dried out, so we weren't fans of those and sort of picked the pieces of meat out. The birria, on the other hand, was okay, but the consommé had a pungent odor to it, so I was not a fan of that. We also noticed that, even when we were super clear when ordering that we didn't want any cilantro (isin cilantro!) on either the birria or the tacos, and didn't want any cheese on the birria when asked, those were not honored; the tacos were heavily dressed with the cilantro, and the birria had cheese at the bottom and on the exterior of the shells. The red salsa is super spicy, and spice fiends would probably enjoy it. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and there are a few picnic tables set up for those who'd want to eat al fresco. Most seem to get their orders to go. I just wished I had the same or similar delicious experience others have had with Taqueria El Primo, but no dice. Located at the Sunoco station, there are some spots available to park; just watch out for broken pieces of glass that can found all over. +avoid the chicken tacos! +consommé has a pungent odor to it +inaccurate orders/customizations +friendly staff +at the Sunoco gas station

Senor Sombrero - Pork burrito -- the pork is seasoned similar to al pastor

I've passed this…read morespot multiple times by my house and never thought to go here until the other day when I was pumping gas. The person working in the gas station said it was really good and so I gave it a shot. The food truck is very unassuming, but the service was great. The woman who took my order was really kind and answered all of my questions about the menu. She said the pork was similar to al pastor as opposed to carnitas, so I decided to try that because I love that combination of sweet and heat. It took about 10 minutes to get my food which wasn't a big deal, but it's worth noting as there's no real place to sit down or wait aside from your car. When I got home, I was shocked when I opened the container and saw just how much food they gave. The fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned. The hot sauces they gave me, a roja and a verde, packed a punch. But the burrito... oh my goodness... so flavorful. The pork was juicy and tender and melted in your mouth with minimal chew. The pico de gallo tasted fresh and it helped cut through the fattiness and richness of the pork. The rice and beans were typical rice and beans, nothing to write home about, but everything was really balanced. My only real note was the juices were overflowing so I had to resort to eating with a knife and fork. Also, while I loved that they toasted the burrito on the outside, it gave me store bought vibes; if they used freshly made tortillas, this would be incredible. Not enough to knock it down to 4 stars from 5, but something worth knowing for future visits. I am really excited to try their street tacos and tortas after this!
