We arrived around 2 PM, and the restaurant was about 75% full. Fortunately, we ordered at the front and were seated quickly. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered Tonkatsu and Miso Ramen. I chose the Miso with medium spiciness, which was topped with Sichuan chili oil. While I like Sichuan chili oil, I prefer my ramen this particular chili oil; without the peppercorn and Mala flavors in my ramen broth. Both bowls had generous portions and tasted great. The pork chashu slices were flavorful, likely marinated and pan-seared to enhance their taste. They didn't taste gamey, which was a plus. 3.8 rounded to 4 stars. Did not have that sweet umami broth flavor at all. I mainly tasted the oil, something's lacking for sure. The egg, bamboo, and pork slices were decent though. Service: Wasn't that great. The egg, scallions, corn and seaweed just add to the mix and the texture of the ramen is just right. The black garlic ramen is their most popular ramen here. My friend said that after trying the chicken, the pork kind of disappointed her. Which is surprising, but is a testament to how good their chicken ramen is! The BBQ mix is a great way to try all the different meats they have available. My dad prefers rice and usually gets this. It's a generous portion so there is enough to share with the rest of your party. Overall, I would totally recommend this place to anyone who wants a meal and a break from shopping. I ordered takeout for dinner and it wasn't busy early evening on a Thursday. I asked about the Yelp check in promotion but they said it isn't valid anymore. Everything was ready in less than fifteen minutes. I got the black garlic ramen, BBQ mix plate, and lumpia. I don't have a high tolerance for spicy food but I could eat the medium level for the ramen. The flavors were good and there was a good ratio of broth to ramen and toppings. The beef was the best part of the mix plate but I wouldn't order that or the lumpia again. Better to stick with the ramen. read more

After a long day at the outlets, came to this place for ramen. We got the Black garlic Ramen, it had a rich broth garlic flavor on a medium spicy level with roast pork that was tender. Tonkatsu Ramen, had a nice texture mushroom and a nice soft boiled egg and noodles were cooked just right. The Grilled squid was perfectly grilled, a nice chewy bite to it, went well with the dipping sauce. Takoyaki was one of my favorite, soft and chewy tiny squid as you bite into it with a nice crisp on the outside perfect while it was served hot. A great place for ramen. I would give this place zero stars if I could. The customer service was absolutely terrible. We were charged for an extra soda, which we didn't mind paying for. They even brought us a "receipt," so we assumed the charge had already gone through. Instead, as soon as we walked out, a worker came running outside yelling at us in front of everyone, accusing us of not paying. We were really craving for ramen and at the same time we were looking for a ramen spot where they had outdoor seating. So we spotted this restaurant and we knew it was located at a plaza that was relatively really new and still had lots of vacancies, so it seemed like a good place to avoid the crowds. And the Tonkatsu ramen was good! The soup base was very creamy and tasty. I asked them for less cooking time on the noodles and they happily accommodated my request. I also asked for "spicy" and I loved the spicy chili oil/sauce they used; it had a spicy numbing sort of flavor to it. And the toppings were quite plenty - fish cakes, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, two thick pieces of pork, green onions and a soft boiled egg. This bowl of ramen was beyond hearty.
