I love these little restaurants that are only open half days the food is so fresh. The atmosphere was nice I sat next to a window second story and it was quiet. Very nice place Service was friendly and the food came out fast as well.

Not at all what I expected when I walked into the well-known biker joint, but I was greeted by extremely friendly staff and cozy interior. The prices were very fair, especially for the generous portions available. The food was very tasty, there were impressive specials, the service was fast, and it felt like home! A great place for a Saturday brunch with family, I now know why it's my mom's favorite spot.

    Mimosa & orange juice comparison

Went here with a friend over the weekend. I've never heard of this place but it's the cutest little ma & pa kind of breakfast place. I ordered a mimosa & it looked pretty similar to the regular orange juice, shown in pictures. So there wasn't much champagne in it. I'm sure this is regulated with Utah Laws though. I ordered am omelet with avocado, mushrooms & tomatoes. It was delicious! I'm a little worried that omelets are undercooked, but mine was cooked to perfection! I also had the sourdough bread & it was really good!! My friend ordered the Strawberry Lemon crepe special & WOW! We were both blown away by how delicious these crepes were! The only complaint we had was we wish there was more strawberries on top of the crepes. Filling in the crepes was really yummy & portion size was perfect. Vegetarian options were a little hard to find on the menu because they weren't easily noted on the menu & it looked like most items had meat in them honestly. The omelet I originally ordered had bacon in it & I substituted out the bacon for tomatoes. Our waitress was fantastic! Very attentive & friendly!

I was greeted and sat right away. Service was very friendly and attentive. The coffee was very delicious. I am still sitting here getting some work done and they are totally okay with it. I'll be back next time I'm im the area.

Sundance Scrambler to go. It was really lovely and huge. Too much for one person.

This is a rad place. A great place here in Bountiful that has some good drinks. Service - Out waitress was really lovely. She was attentive and super nice and was always around when we needed help. Food- My friend for the Huevos rancheros and she thought it was wonderful. I've had the breakfast burrito and it is on point. I also got the skillet and loved it. ALSO, the have homemade jam. Just a great spot.

Steak and Eggs. Great portion size, taste and price. I would recommend the eclectic country diner to those passing through Bountiful, Utah.

Really good classic diner breakfast, kind and friendly staff and expedient service. Very casual and family oriented. Good views of the mountains from a corner booth as well.

Food came out suspiciously fast... They must have everything already prepped sitting in containers back there and throw it together. My partner had eggs Benedict and didn't think it was very good.

We did peep out some breakfast joints around the area the night before and Penny Ann's Cafe popped up. The reviews were good so we decided to head over after we grabbed gas. This joint is conviently next to Costco so we didn't have to venture far too find it. Walking in, we were instantly greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth by the breakfast bar. Yohe ( I know his name started with a Y) greeted us. There was a gentleman named Cesar that was shadowing him for training. They both grabbed our drink order while my mom and I were checking out the menu. I did creep out the menu the night before. You can not not be curious over these famous "heavenly hot cakes". When you add the word heavenly to hot cakes, you know they are going to be hella good! So for breakfast, I got the Big breakfast which comes with a little bit of everything. My mom got French toast that came with a side of eggs and bacon. My plate was no joke! I got a good helping of potatoes smothered in country gravy, a chunky sausage link, bacon, ham, eggs and 2 fluffy pancakes. I'm so happy I didn't get the toast. I was offered to have my toast turned into French toast and as much as I wanted to say yes, I declined. I had enough carb options with my huge stack of pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I knew the French toast would put me over the edge. My potatoes were perfectly cooked! Crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The country gravy on top of my potatoes was savory and thick. I normally don't like sausage gravy but this one was really good! My eggs were fried hard, just the way I like them. My bacon was crispy. I do like my sausage links to be overcooked and I forgot to tell my server about having it overcooked. The sausage was hearty and big! It just needed a little more browning for my liking. I did have a couple bites of my ham, I was just super full to finish it. Now, the pancakes were topped tier! They were fluffy! Airy! Topped with a hefty chunk of butter. The pancake syrup was warm. The combination of everything listed above made eat bite of pancake magical. I ate half of my stack and had to tap out. I really could have finished that whole plate of pancakes but I know my stomach would be so upset with me on my 5 hour trip home. What I appreciate most about this joint is how clean it is! I love that the syrup containers, salt and pepper shakers, hot sauce, ketchup and creamers are all cleaned and put in the back after each table is done. It's amazing how many condiment containers are so dirty but not here. I feel safe using thier condiments here. Especially with my new kidney and having to be extra precautious with communal things, that was one thing I didn't have to worry about today. The service is great! The pancakes are legit good. The venue is clean and nicely ran. My meal was fantastic! I look forward to bringing my husband here in April so he can try the Heavenly hot cakes. He loves pancakes and I know he will love these ones. And I will most definitely have to have my hot cakes Dubai chocolate style! Truly a must try. See you in April!

The in-restaurant menu gives the option of ordering fries, onion rings, or a cup of soup for an extra charge ($4.25 for soup). So I ordered a cup of the French onion with my burger. My wife ordered the Monte Cristo crepe with the French onion. I really enjoyed the burger, which was spicy and flavorful. My wife did not like the Monte Cristo crepe, which was lacking in texture and not very tasty. Apparently a Monte Cristo doesn't work as a crepe? The French onion soup was a glutenous ball as the bread became incredibly soggy in the broth. But the broth itself was flavorful. The food was mixed, but the bigger problem came when it was time to pay the bill. I was shocked when it turned out to be almost $20 higher than expected. I was charged $12.95 for each soup. I pointed out the discrepancy and the server took one of the soup charges off the bill. I pointed out that this was still an overcharge based on the listed price of $4.25 on the menu, but apparently the "cup of soup" on the menu did not include French onion, which is something that should have been clearly shown on the menu or at least explained by the server when I ordered it. Not wishing to argue the matter further I paid the bill with an abbreviated tip and left. Given the lack of communication and the exorbitant prices charged for middling food, we will not be back.

Is Heaven a Bagel?…read more Is a question you might ask yourself after going to Cheryl's Bagels. The bagels here will ruin you for all other bagels in Utah. The bagels are perfectly made. They're chewy and soft and spun with magic. You think you hate plain bagels? No you hate other plain bagels, because these ones will have you questioning all bagels you've had before they are made of pure heaven and glow with all gloriousness. You think you've had a good bagel sandwich? In Utah? No. These sandwiches are the most perfectly made sandwiches, the eggs are cooked so well, they don't fall off the bagel they're buttery, they are well seasoned. Every bagel sandwich I've tried is somehow my favorite and when I go I have to resist the urge to order multiple. Thankfully my husband loves to go halvsies so I never have to experience bagel sandwich FOMO. You want just bagels and cream cheese? You will get the best cream cheese of your life. You want a flat bagel to rip apart and eat? The enormous Flagels are in their own ballpark of delicious, they are crispy, they are salty, they are an incredible vessel in which to get cream cheese in your mouth. I have never been to New Jersey and New York but I almost feel like there is no need since Cheryl brings a piece of New Jersey with her to Utah. The cherry on top for this beautiful bagel sundae, is the wonderful customer service. Everyone is kind and Cheryl herself an absolute gem. If you leave this place hungry you're doing something wrong. After you eat here you may wake up in the middle of the night with a bagel craving that can only be quelled by a Cheryl's bagel. Any flavor you are blessed enough to eat will be one of the best bagels you have. I have included pictures but two of the items I bought were devoured instantly. The flagel is was devoured and only a small piece is left of this delicious creation.
