I was looking for a bulk of ginger which they didn't have so had to settle for this
Nicole S.

It was my first time at this Ralph's and it was disappointing to see they didn't have many things I was looking for this Memorial Day weekend. They didn't have fresh garlic, fruits, and dressings. The people here were nice, but I didn't like that things weren't very organized as other Ralph locations and it was frustrating. Also the ambiance isn't the best as there are cameras everywhere! There's literally 20 cameras going down the checkout lines which leads me to believe there's a lot of theft here. That didn't make me feel like the customers coming in are very safe. Probably won't go here often, just for emergencies.

Clean, difficult in this area, nice workers, across the street from the sportsman's lodge. Plenty of parking of course. This store is run down and it shows but they always have what you need. Good deli and hot food area. Regular grocery store. I come here at least once a week. If you're looking for an inexpensive meal, this is the place. Haven't had a bad experience

Bought 01-15-23 expired 11-03-21

I don't know why when these workers see you with a cart full of groceries, knowing you're about to spend over $200 at their store because they can see your cart is full but still treat you rudely. Today they sold me beef jerky that expired TWO years ago! I tried calling to let someone know as there's a bunch more left on their shelf but their phone system makes it impossible to get through to anyone. I should have known better and kept an eye out. Not the first time I've bought expired product here.

Nice flowers outside the store

The only time people were not personable was at the poke station. They said "thank you!" to only the white people and it was obvious. I don't care if they're not from here, that's not normal. The poke station folks at the north Hollywood location are always kind and speak to everyone. Other than that, this location is still my fav.

Didn't get any greeting from any one of the employees. They were busy on their cellphones. Armando, one of their employees was just walking around pretending that he was doing something close to nothing. I wanted to get couple of grab n go sandwiches from the in-store Starbucks. The guy inside had the lights off, and pretending that he is counting money in the dark. How cool is that? I asked if he could help me without looking up, he said register is closed and that he doesn't work for Starbucks. I got a mini watermelon, a small jar of ginger, 6 peaches not fully ripe; and one was even a little bruised. It was in a bag. I saw it when I got home. 5 bananas, 3 big, nice Envy apples, and 10 piece Spicy Tuna Roll from their ready made section. Lines were long, employees were just chit chatting, no one opened another register, and they kept telling me to use the self check out that I personally don't like. Cashier was one of their managers at register #11. The guy who packed my groceries was helpful, kind with a nice smile. It's a very big store, and it was clean. Can't forget to mention that they need new ink for their receipt. I had to write down everything on another piece of paper to itemize the items. Glad that I did. Used their restroom. Out of toilet paper, barely any soap, and no seat covers. Can't forget to mention that the toilet was not even flushed. Huge parking lot shared with other businesses. Also, underground parking along with elevators are available for your convenience. The rest, you can read in my previous review.

The line was long, but it moved pretty quickly; the only thing that slowed the line from moving are the people in line who have no courtesy of moving the line up. :( My friend and I came for the honey butter pancake, lunch combo, water, and coconut water. Our total for all that ended up being $78 - the most I have ever spent on lunch. The honey butter pancake is so overpriced, but so delicious. EACH pancake is $18. It is a big sized pancake, that is definitely shareable and should be less than the price it is. Would I get it again though? Absolutely. Our lunch platter included Korean short rib, miracle noodles, and broccolini. The short rib was so tender and well-seasoned, the noodles are calorie free and tasty, the broccolini had the perfect garlicky crunch in each bite. Haters will hate, but I think it is worth giving the hot bar a try.

It has a great selection, it's clean, and the employees have always been friendly. I also appreciate that this store values inclusivity and gives meaningful employment opportunities to people who might not always be given the chance elsewhere. The only thing that has been a bit of a hassle has been renting their rug cleaners. The wait is often long (been stuck waiting for assistance for more than 30 mins on multiple occasions). I was also given a faulty rug cleaner that I had to come back and have replaced, which was kind of annoying to have to lug it back to the store and then once again wait to get a properly working one. But, all that aside, this continues to be my favorite store.

Approached this one older man and asked him if he could make me a bowl of Poke, he said no, you have to do it yourself and as I was still talking, he kept walking away from me. I approached him and said"I am talking to you and you keep walking away from me". That is rude and unprofessional. He didn't even apologize. His name was Mario in the seafood department. Poke looked very fresh along with all the other toppings and ingredients. Just by looking at it, it was super OVERWHELMING! He had nothing else to do, because he had both of his hands behind his back and just walking around. If he wanted to to help me, then he would have. This was on the morning of 7/17/26 a little before 9AM. On the other hand, Tony, who worked the Sushi Bar, in the same seafood department, saw what happened and apologized on Mario's behalf. The fridge for Sushi and other ready made fish items was EMPTY. Tony asked me what is it that he can do/make for me? I replied Spicy Tuna roll. He even wanted to know how many pieces? I told him 8. Right away he went back into the kitchen and made me what I have requested. For 8 pieces was only (12.99). Not a bad price. Came back and handed me the Sushi. Got home and tasted the food and it was very fresh and delicious. Next aisle that I visited was their frozen section. Needed to buy few waffles. There were 2 guys, that absolutely refused to help me. Wouldn't even let me speak. So, I looked around and found the waffles that I was NOT looking for. I wanted the Belgian Waffles and didn't see any. Got the Vans brand Power Grain Protein waffles, and gluten free Original Waffles. So for 4 waffles together came out to be $18.89 with tax. Next disappointment was, went to check out and there was no one at the registers. Waited for like 5 minutes, until this woman came and turned the light on for register # 4. Couldn't catch her name.
