Not bad. Not bad at all. Who knew? $3.99 on special.

Came in for libations with my husband for our mini vacation. Courtney (dark hair, fair skin), wrung us up wrong. 6 different bottles of wine with 30% discount per. Husband noticed she did it incorrectly, charging us the same price for all 6. When he said something, she looked at him, changed one, but left the rest. Weird. Wasn't sure if she was just in a rush because of the line behind us, but c''mon now, you have one job. Do it right. Fast forward 2 days later. We trekked back from where we were staying to get our difference back (ie, the money taken from us). Young man Dylan helped us - this kid is quick, intelligent, and respectful and needs to be recognized. No doubt he'll be someone's boss someday. Thank you, Dylan, for making up for a coworker's incompetence.

Wow! Ralph's in San Clemente has a stunning exterior. Plenty of carts, a lovely terrace, and even a water fountain. Inside, the store is well stocked, especially with high end personal care items. I didn't mind the stop. I grabbed some lip balm and eye drops!

Customer Service is Questionable. I'm not sure why most of the Employees act like they don't care about Customers. They don't Greet you (Cashiers)... Don't say Thanks. Cashiers and mostly everyone that I have seen in this Store... Are so Rude. Except the people working outside and some others working in around the store. And for that reason I will give (1-) Only.

Gotta give it to Ralphs for its subtle seasonal decor (spring).

March is definitely spring season and there were so many fresh flowers at store front. Picking up groceries was mainly the purpose of the day. From snacks to salads to basically anything you might have forgotten in your toiletry bag. Price is always right, service from all clerks and cashiers are very consistent whenever you visit any Trader Joe's in any state. What I didn't expect to see was crowds and crowds of customers at this location, and the store clerks were extra friendly. Also bought a bunch of reusable canvas bags to use on the way home and more to give away as gifts. Trader Joe's is always a must go whenever on the US Mainland.

I live in Irvine, and I stopped by the Trader Joe's in San Clemente while visiting the outlets. The…read moreservice I experienced there was completely unacceptable. The staff came across as dismissive, unfriendly, and openly irritated toward customers. In particular, the male employee at the first display was extremely rude and spoke to customers in a very unpleasant, condescending tone. His attitude alone completely ruined what had been a good day for me. As an Asian customer, I couldn't help but feel like I was being treated differently, which is deeply concerning. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but also raises serious questions about how customers are being treated. The contrast with the Irvine locations is striking--the staff there are consistently friendly, respectful, and hardworking. The San Clemente store clearly falls far below that standard. Management seriously needs to address this and provide proper staff training.

The owner has created an incredible space warm, intimate ambiance, an outstanding food menu, and one of the best wine selections I've seen in a long time. Everything felt thoughtful and elevated without being pretentious. Our server, Tatum was professional, attentive, and extremely patient. I happened to be seated nearby during an interaction with a group of women who were openly rude and condescending toward her from the start. Despite that, she remained calm, polite, and handled herself with grace. If anything, she showed remarkable composure under unnecessary pressure. Service jobs aren't easy, and it's disappointing when unfair situations get misrepresented online. Based on what I personally observed, Tatum did nothing but her job and did it well. Highly recommend The Cellar for the food, wine, atmosphere, and overall experience. We'll absolutely be back.
