Came into ralphs looking for nicks mint chocolate chip ice cream, left the store getting scolded by some russian lady. Firstly, the door doesn't even open and is covered by $21 watermelons. If you open the ice cream fridge door with the scoops, the entire setup will fall and you will spend 10 minutes give or take trying to fix it while people give you disgusted looks. To add on to this complaint they did not have the pepperccini kettle chips for my girlfriend , disappointed is an understatement. And to end this crazy last minute ralphs run with an absolute bang, a lady working the self checkout gave me a dirty look, and then proceeded to ridicule me and my girlfriend for walking away before pressing no cash back. One amazing part of this experience was the $6.50 terriaki bowls located in the chip isle. Have fun! Do not recommend. read more

Late night and needed milk and water for our stay. It looks big but it's one of the smallest Ralphs I've been in. Or does it feel small because they have crammed so much stuff in the aisles and anywhere they can find space. It took me a while to find what I needed because the layout is different from the one in my hometown. There were not cashiers only self-checkout. This is one of the worst grocery stores I have ever been in; more specifically their produce dept doesnt deserve any stars. I want to say its handy because it is very close to my house, but since I repeatedly find that when I need something in a pinch like celery yesterday, they are all out. Their produce dept is poorly stocked, if stocked at all. They are often out of produce staples such as celery, green onions, and squash. What they do offer often looks less than fresh. Sometimes the items that can be found in the Organic section, forcing you to pay more or go to another store. Honestly, two stars is generous! I can not believe they get away with such poor service in such a high end retail space like South Orange County. I should have taken a picture of how bad it was, but instead I just left empty handed yet again. read more

Came in for libations with my husband for our mini vacation. Courtney (dark hair, fair skin), wrung us up wrong. 6 different bottles of wine with 30% discount per. Husband noticed she did it incorrectly, charging us the same price for all 6. When he said something, she looked at him, changed one, but left the rest. Weird. Wasn't sure if she was just in a rush because of the line behind us, but c''mon now, you have one job. Do it right. Fast forward 2 days later. We trekked back from where we were staying to get our difference back (ie, the money taken from us). Young man Dylan helped us - this kid is quick, intelligent, and respectful and needs to be recognized. No doubt he'll be someone's boss someday. I used to shop at Ralph's when I was in college, so this was kind of a nostalgic trip down memory lane. I came to purchase bottled water, Gatorade, and bananas. I found everything I needed with ease. I used the self checkout kiosk, and the woman working the self checkout section was extremely helpful and friendly. I wasn't able to get my Ralph's card to link as it's been a while since I've shopped at Ralph's and she did not hesitate to scan her card for me. I paid and was on my way. read more

Hello, I would like to complain about this store and the self check out. I have been shopping here since this store opened up. Back before covid this store was great. Never any waiting and the policy was if three or more people waiting they had to open another check stand. Now you go in and there are no check stands open from 6am to 8am that I have ever seen and the clerks stand there and watch while we the customer does all the work. It makes no sense what so ever they are getting paid to do this job and we are doing all the work and paying triple the price for groceries. Lovely store and area. Ample parking and well organized, inviting store. We stopped by to pick up some necessities and lunch. The deli area is amazing! Aritsan meats and cheeses galore, including the Boar's Head brand of premium deli meats and cheeses. They were quick and efficient in making our sandwiches, which were delicious. The deli is top-notch and I absolutely recommend getting lunch there. Gorgeous floral department, clean store, friendly employees, and it was such a pleasant shopping experience at this Ralph's store. Thoughtful offerings for this area, such as swim goggles which we picked up as well. Do not hesitate to stop by this Ralph's grocery to pick up items that you need. horrible customer service. the taller older man with glasses has a stick up his a$$ everytime i go in there. he denied me and my family service multiple times because we "looked younger" when purchasing alcohol. Has a bougie exterior (for a Ralphs) with a nice-looking slide-door entrance, but what's kinda funny is that this particular entrance operates only at a certain time of day for vague safety reasons. Late-night shoppers (like me at the time) have to use the inferior entrance that's off to the side lol. Mmkay. Anyway, dropped by here to try to find something on-a-whim. Couldn't find it here, which I didn't really mind. Though, I noticed that the staff here in general seem pretty stuck-up. Idk what some staff members were doing, but some of them were walking up and down the aisles so rigidly that I could've easily mistaken them as store security officers lol. Also, while I was heading toward the exit, a staff lady and I were walking opposite directions toward the same narrow walkway. I moved off to the side to let her through first, but no 'scuse me or thank you from her, not even a smile. Double mmkay. It's a Krogers store, so if you expect a high end shopping experience, you might want to find a mom & pop hippie grocery and pay for it. Feels ridiculous to have to write this all over a flower arrangement but here we go! Management needs to know how I was treated today, including my family. I am a local, and have shopped here regularly for years. Today I went in and browsed their flower department because they have such unique pots and beautiful flowers. I picked a pot for myself and sent a picture to my boss to pick him up one as well. Keep in mind there are 6 pots in front of me. It's just me, my husband and sister. Upon standing here and getting 2 pots. A associate starts swarming me, no exaggeration. Truly would not leave me alone standing there, and she wasn't there before. I'd feel differently if I was invading an area she was in, or if she needed to stock, or was bringing more pots in because I always want to be respectful of those around me. But this was not the case. I was in a area where no one was.. Upon standing here and picking my pots, Auzy would not stop being in my personal space. From fake cleaning and moving pots, I could tell she wanted the pots that I had and began taking them away. I told her I was purchasing two and to leave these aside because I was getting them. She said she can't do that because she needed to trade them out with other plants, (they are perfectly fine plants, not dead or chipped pots). She began taking the plant out of the pot and arranging which pot had the better plant and said she "had to do it". I was confused but I didn't think anything of it, because I clearly told her I was buying 2 so I thought she was just arranging them, but then she grabs them quickly and walks away. I look over and see an employee telling her she want more pots, including the pots I have. Again confused, because I am the one with the pots, I can't physically hold them and I AM THE ONLY ONE STANDING THERE! I only want 2, not 6. She then comes back and says someone already purchased these. I asked how was that possible when I just told you I was getting you these, and she said "sorry but she wants them" and pointed to the employee. With a sarcastic smile and attitude. WHAT?! Who does that? The employee was working and didn't buy them? But told her to hold them for her. I feel the need to stand up for myself because it was SO RUDE. Not only did she lie to me, wouldn't leave me alone, hovering around me, and frankly just being annoying with no social graces or manners but she took away purchases I was making. If someone says they are buying something and they are the only ones there. Please just let them be. I told her how I saw what she did and she said I should talk to the other employee and see if she doesn't want them, and I just laughed. I don't need to barter on something that I had, that was taken from me. It's unprofessional and just weird. I left the store and just awkward laughed with my sister about what a strange encounter that was and how some people just don't have it in them to be kind to others. But the cherry on top as to why I had to write this was my husband walked in prior to us and met up with me in the parking lot where I gave him a run down. He goes was it the woman named Auzy? This store is surprisingly well stocked for its smaller footprint. Aisles and aisles of choices. The produce section looked sharp and fresh. The deli grab n go was convenient and fully stocked with several different meat and cheese choices. The wine, beer and liquor aisles were fully stocked and did not lack for choices. The meat section was fully stocked too. All sale prices were clearly marked. To finish this review -- I'll mention the one employee we had contact with -- the cashier. He was courteous, asked if there was anything we were looking for but didn't find, reminded us about ice and said 'see you next time' on our way out. Well done read more

The crazy lady working the self checkout wouldn't let me just do my purchase I knew how much of each item I had. She instead insisted that I need her help and that I actually couldn't do my transaction even though it was snacks at the self checkout because I have to put all of them on the left side of the register. Needless to say at some point In the drive I had to pee bad. Guy in produce provided me with the directions. And code to the bathroom! An angel. I am unable to walk and first I ordered to have groceries delivered and my delivery guy was Justin. I ordered 27 items so I could eat cuz I can't walk. Then the delivery guy suddenly turn to a guy named Bobby with long hair I added milk to my car for another order on top of 27 items so 28 items to be exact. Bobby canceled my milk order and only brought me seven items and then ignored all my messages after I asked what happened to all the groceries. I'm never shopping at Ralphs again. I always love going to Ralph's even when it comes to doing Instacart, but Norma was not nice at all. Instead of getting a hello, she abruptly asked me, "Is this regular or online pay?" I never understood her question, and I told her, "Regular." I then forgot to show her my barcode and she rudely stated, "Well when I asked you you should have given it to me." Miguel another worker could not help me, and seemed to take her side. Norma's behavior was not acceptable. She is not my mother because when I was in line she sounded like it. I would have a manager speak to her about her behavior, because that was not acceptable. If she is like this again, I would want her to not come back for two weeks. Two stars because employees are usually pretty friendly. However, I just want to put a warning out to others, if you go there in the morning before 830 or so, they do NOT even have one cashier to help you. Your only choice is to use self check out. If you are not aware of this, you might fill up your car only to get let down. I like to use this location since it's close to me, so I try to remember that this is the case so I don't accidentally grab all the items I need. I never get all my items and leave with a pretty small amount once I remember I have to check myself out (then head to a different store later; I don't have time in the morning). Customer service is horrible and just bad manners from employees at this location. Auzy was working in the floral department today and my sister and I were looking at the potted plants. We had two potted plants on the counter ready to put them in our basket, deciding what color pots we wanted. Auzy's coworker saw us looking at them, and comes over and tells her to put them behind the counter because she wants to buy them.. Auzy comes over, steps in front of my sister and I without an excuse me (literally getting within inches of us) and starts grabbing the plants. She walk back and forth grabbing them stepping right in front of us taking the pots we want plus two more. All she said was "I'm working" aka get out of my way. When we asked why she started putting them away, she said she had to "switch them out" but then said they "hadn't been labeled yet", leaving two plants left that we dying/ leaves were damaged. When my sister confronted her about it saying we were buying those, she said her coworker had already bought them so there was nothing she could do, and why don't we go ask her coworker to trade... This is completely unprofessional and rude. Who does that? She was super unpleasant towards my sister when she asked why she kept getting in our personal space and taking the plants and putting them behind the counter. Kept changing her story and getting loud instead of just saying I'm sorry. Customers shouldn't be treated that way, and employees shouldn't be buying or setting stuff aside during their shift, especially when they see a customer wanting to buy the product, let alone being super rude about it. We shop here weekly and will not be anymore. Auzy, learn some manners and learn what personal space is. And when a costumer confronts you about your attitude and manners, try listening instead of being rude and getting loud, you're a work. Yikes. read more
