The ambiance is everything here. The beautiful outdoor patio is nestled behind the Ralph Lauren store in the heart of Boulevard Saint-Germain. Nothing on the menu is super memorable. The fries are great and all the sandwiches are decent. Try the crab cake as your entree if you're not super hungry. I have eaten here numerous times and always come back while visiting Paris. Although I have never been to the store, the restaurant is awesome. The decor is very classy and there is a huge fireplace. I also love the fact the menu is only in English and the food is strictly American. I love the club and everything they have to offer. I suggest coming here for the great ambiance and the food. Incredibly disappointing experience. We love The Polo Bar in NY and were very excited to visit, by all appearances this is a spot that the brand and it's leadership have long forgot. Rude, sloppy, and absentee service, had to order certain items three times because server forgot to place order, nothing special regarding food and drink presentation (unlike NY), pillows and dirty tables in bar lounge went unclean for 30 minutes. Had a table in the outdoor courtyard - setting / furnishings, etc were perfect.. initially, wait staff was engaging and attentive....and then deteriorated... a number of the entrees and sides were not what was ordered and staff was indifferent...was FINALLY corrected after 3 attempts and then staff vanished. Customers were left to retrieve & serve their own wine from the service stand multiple times as the wait staff passed with no interest. Save your money.. don't believe the hype...LOT'S of better places to spend an evening in Paris. read more

I was just in Paris for a month on holiday and I visited Ralph's for dinner three times during my stay. First discovering Ralph's last August when I was there, I thought it'd be the perfect place to take some friends that were visiting from the states. Abby is far the star employee of Ralph's. She remembered me from August of 2011 and greeted me with the traditional double kiss. On my first visit last month I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail (which were delish and huge and def enough to share) and the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection and served with the most delicious mashed potatoes. If you've been to Paris, you've noticed that their cut of meats aren't like the US. This was by far the best steak I've ever had in Paris. On my second and third trip to Ralph's last month, I was not as impressed with the service of our servers (they mixed up a few of our party's orders) as I was the first time. However, Abby made up for it by her great personality. I would definitely go back to Ralph's as the food is quite impeccable. Over the course of three visits I was with about 10 other people and they all raved about their food. Ralph's is also is a great location; the Saint Germain area is great for shopping and wandering around. read more

After 2 weeks in France we were desperate for some American food. This place did not disappoint. Admittedly I was in it for the caramel corn, but everything about Ralph's was charming. Great ambience. We sat inside as we hadn't made a reservation but it was nice and cool and we sat by a window facing the courtyard so we felt we had all the benefits of being outdoors. I will admit I am biased. I have loved everything Ralph has done since the original Polo Stores. We sat down and waited a bit for drink service which was annoying. Once service got started things evened out. The crab cake was very good as well as the watermelon salad. Next up Ralph's burger amazing and my wife's steak was cooked to perfection. The wine list was perfect. Many French and some American choices The brownie dessert was also great. Only reason 4 vs 5 was the initial service. Fix that and 5 star. Ever wondered what it feels like to be sexually harassed at an expensive restaurant? Go to Ralph's! I came here with a group of friends for a birthday dinner and have never in my life been treated so inappropriately, not only by our waiter, but by the manager as well. I refuse to even review the quality of the food, because this experience was incredibly scarring and left all seven of us reeling. Here is how we were treated by our waiter: --Came to our table juggling several glass tubs of condiments, joking about how his hands were shaky carrying so many things, and drops the condiments on one of the ladies in our group, spilling her red wine all over her blouse, the table, and her meal. He laughs, doesn't apologize, and does not return for several minutes. When he does return, he promises us free desserts (more on this blatant lie later), and offers to pay for the dry cleaning...if the diner "brings him her shirt in person." Disgusting. --Comes to pour champagne and purposely elbows me in the face, then winks at me, saying, "Oh, I am just kidding." --Tells one of the other ladies that if she gets too drunk, he will "carry her home," then proceeds to fan her with a menu and tell her she's looking "very red." So, the waiter takes off from his shift, and we are left with a different waiter who, at first, appears to know how to work in the service industry without inappropriate advances. We order the free desserts that were promised to us, and upon seeing the check--shocker--the desserts are on the bill. We ask to speak to our replacement waiter, who claims that the original waiter had "no authority to promise us that." We ask to speak to the manager, and after over 10 minutes of waiting, the manager still does not come over to us. We had to threaten to call the bank and cancel the charge on the credit card in order to get him to come over to us. The manager did not take our complaint seriously, even insinuating that the original waiter might not have even promised us this at all. ALL seven of us diners heard our waiter, and we all speak French. It is unprofessional and sexist to insinuate that a group of seven women cannot understand the meaning of "free desserts." He offers no solutions whatsoever, except to email some assistant and explain the situation, claiming that this is the only email that will get to a higher-up at the restaurant (a claim that was quickly disproven by a simple internet search). On our way out, the manager gives a look of disgust and contempt, despite this situation being entirely the fault of an incompetent waiter. One of our diners was so disturbed by this treatment, especially during a birthday dinner, that she returned inside to let the manager know that we were going to follow up about this, and that his lack of propriety and his treatment of us was nothing short of sexist and demeaning. He smiled at her, on the verge of laughing, further proving that this is a disgustingly misogynistic establishment. For a 700€ birthday dinner, this sort of treatment is unfathomable and unacceptable by all accounts. I could've had better service at a McDonald's, and maybe not gotten elbowed in the face or had to witness a waiter harass my fellow diners and friends. read more

Amazing venue; exceelent food; perfect service only downside is that the beautiful garden cannot be used by those of us who refuse to dine among smokers! The decor inside is also lovely so a small price to pay to have a great lunch or dinner. Plan to have my 80th birthday brunch here. read more

If you can manage to get a reservation, I highly recommend dining at Ralph's while on vacation. We have made it somewhat of a family tradition to go whenever we are in France. And I'm yet to be disappointed. Ambiance, whether inside or outside, is divine. I love the complimentary fried olives they give when you arrive, and the complimentary caramel popcorn they give for dessert. Service is very good and attentive, although it took a bit too long for the dessert to arrive this evening (my only complaint). Must-Haves: the burger, the chicken paillard, the frozen yogurt dessert, the veggie burgers, the tomato soup with grilled cheese.Great menu, and great vibes. read more

When I miss American glamour I come here! One of my favorite places in the 6eme arrondissement. Great service and amazing food. A little pricey but it is worth it for the atmosphere and the quality of the food. Try their steak or the tuna burger! You won't regret it! Great ambience and nice overall image to this restaurant. The food is good but nothing to make you go wild or off your feet. The Ralph Burger which is their speciality and famous dish was disappointing and I would not recommend it at all it was as if eating through thick hard chunk of beef with no taste. Following a recommendation from a French friend, my family of four went to the Ralph Lauren Restaurant in Paris. We were a little hesitant as some of the reviews online were not positive but we decided to stay with our booking. I am so glad we did. As many have commented, the presentation and ambience are hard to beat, the interior is very beautifully restored and decorated. The staff were welcoming and very polite, we were given our menus quickly and offered drinks, water came immediately. We are Australian and the English speaking staff gladly used English where they could, the language was not a barrier, funny sometimes. Our meals were served in good time and were generous in portion. The side sauces, dressings were delicious. The bread also. Our meals varied from crepes, salad and steak, all were excellent, properly presented and cooked and delicious. We then shared desserts as we really didn't need them but couldn't resist and they were delicious also. We had different staff attending throughout the lunch and all were polite and smiling and sometimes laughing if something went amiss. The restaurant was full and we could see that others were being attended in the same way. All in all, if you want a really delightful and slightly special experience, we would highly recommend it. The host was very friendly and even came over to engage in conversation with my party as well as the party next to us the food was awesome and although we were told that they had another party arriving after us and i was a half hour late we never felt rushed. A laid back niche in St Germain des Pres. The restaurant is usually booked last minute, so it's good to call in advance a few hours or a day even. A nice selection of classic American food but the menu should offer a bit more, as there isn't much to choose from. The bar is alright, I expected a better selection of alcohol. Overall, one would really go to Ralph's to ease the question of where to have lunch that's good and feel comfortable sitting for an hour or two but be served something from hot cocoa to wine. read more

We just spent a week in paris and had dinner at Ralph's twice! Once from the regular dinner menu and the second time for Thanksgiving. Both dinners were amazing. The boneless ribeye was perfect and the Thanksgiving dinner was the BEST thanksgiving meal I've ever had. The presentation was beautifully done and the food was delicious.
