Stopped in after a long day of sight seeing and opted for patio seating. Nice variety on the menu from burgers to steak, great for a family, Service was fast and friendly. Food was all quite good. Toilette for the men was a bit different as the urinal was open but tucked around the corner downstairs and not confirmed but it seemed like it would be in direct view of someone leaving the ladies washroom . I can't think of any downside other than the fact that sitting on the patio in Europe means you are among smokers and that we were too full to try anything from the dessert menu which looked really good.
After a busy day sightseeing beautiful Paris for the first time we got hungry. Busy place, so immediately we assume must be good. Took long to be seated, once we were server took for ever to come. Maybe there was a staffing issue so it's ok. Ordered escargot my son want to try them and it's Paris. I'm not sure what to expect but he enjoyed eating them as I passed. I ordered a what said shareable prawns for me and the husband. We had a scheduled dinner so wanted to eat light so this seemed fitting. There were only 3 prawns Not sure I would return we had fabulous food elsewhere but enjoyed the experience. It's a different country portions are different as here is the US everything is huge on most places.
Was excited for our first cafe and French breakfast, found this place on our way to the Louvre. Place was very quiet and took a bit for anyone to pay attention to us when we walked in. We were sat inside to my disappointment. Menu was pretty small and not many items without ham for me. Service was a bit slow, food was just ok and not filling. Would be cute if you just wanted a drink or snack, not for a filling breakfast.
It was late at night and most places do close at 10pm. For a simple french cafe, I do love this place. I ordered foie and it was nice and came with crispy toasts. The regular french baguette does pair better for me here. The seabass came and I was impressed. It had lots of various vegetables under it and the fish was crispy on the skin and tender. The presentation is beautiful. My expectation for cafe is nothing like a fine dining french bistro. This is a great late night meal for me.
This is a solid mediocre restaurant. I don't think there's a burgeoning chef downstairs vying for his first Michelin star tonight. I won't go ..... but I swear my veal was chicken breast!
I stopped into the cafe with my boyfriend right before we visited the Louvre on a Wednesday. The fromt of the cafe is gorgeous and caught our eye. Even with the amount of people in the cafe the service was quick and we were immediately seated. The drink selection is great and the passion fruit Caprihina is made with fresh passion fruit and 10/10 was the best Caprihina I had in Paris. The shareable selections is great! The calamari was superb and really high quality. Probably the best calamari I've ever had in the states or abroad. To top off our night we got the desert platter which is absolutely perfect to share. There's a little bit of the best types of desserts so it's perfect to split with someone who has different dessert preferences than you. All in all this is a great, chic, and cozy little spot. I would highly recommend it for couples, solo travelers, and small groups.
Found this gem! They have the best service, the coffee is delicious the atmosphere is very welcoming, clean place, affordable and the staff are amazing. Highly recommend if your visiting
Walked around and showed up here after leaving Bar Hemingway and doing some shopping. I grabbed a seat at the bar and had a good time chatting with the guy back there named Damien. Since I had some whiskey drinks at Bar Hemingway, I decided to get an Bulleit Old Fashioned while I scoured over the menu. Lots of items looked pretty good but I figured I would go for the duck breast with honey along with caramelized pears and mashed potatoes. This may be the best meal I had in Paris as the duck was very tender and the caramelized pear definitely added some extra flavor to the dish. Very attractive place especially at night as they have a nice mood going along with decent music in the background. The place is dim lit and is good for dates or dinner with friends. I wanna come back for another meal whether it be breakfast lunch or dinner.
In our last hours in Paris, we made it a mission to have a glass of wine and share a charcuterie board. This place was near the tourist spots and had a good selection of wine. We were seated right away. Our server was very nice and helpful with the different wines. The charcuterie board came quickly with our glasses of wine. The charcuterie board came with so much stuff! It came with many cheeses and meats, as well as tuna, jam, and pickles. The bread was also nice. The wine and board went well together. We're glad we found this place. They had a lot of outdoor/patio seating with cute lights. It was convenient and had lots of options. It's definitely a more casual setting, but very spacious. I would definitely recommend.

Party of 8, seated at 19:45. Server didn't come over until 8:01. He said we couldn't get happy hour because it was one minute after. He said I can go ask the bartender if I could get happy hour. No, he should go ask. So I ordered only fries. This is the first place I didn't tip this entire the waiter and I always tip at least 20%. I still wanted to tip the bar staff for making our drinks so I ordered at the bar. The service was fast and Amin was cordial after this so I actually decided to got ahead and give him a 15% tip. Until he came up to me and asked if I had a problem with him and I didn't want him serving me all the while pointing a knife at me. I told him I didn't say that, I just ordered from the bar. He then started arguing about it being 8:01 and too bad happy hour is over. I tried talking and he just started talking over me and not letting me talk. I have over 20 yrs restaurant mgmt experience so I know customer service. At this point he says if was a restaurant mgr I would know how happy hour goes. I lost it at that point and told him "Fuck you give me the bill!" This is the first time I've ever swore at staff because I know what they go through. So he got no tip! The mgr at least listens to me on the way out. The photo is before we ordered and to prove this isn't a fake review I just noticed that's him in the picture.

Petit restaurant situé à proximité du Louvre. Bien qu'il y soit très près, les prix ne sont pas gonflé comme la majorité des endroits prêt des lieux touristique, ce qui est vraiment bien. L'accueil fut rapide et efficace. Le serveur semblait cependant débordé. Il n'a pas arrêter de courir entre les tables intérieur et extérieur le pauvre. J'ai prit le Bacon bbq burger avec pomme de terre grenaille. Il est possible de choisir le degrés de cuisson du burger. Ce dernier était très bon. Les pomme de terre grenaille semble cuire dans le beurre. Elles étaient tendre et très bonne. Ma conjointe a prit le blue burger qu'elle a dévoré. Les frites étaient tout aussi bonne. Une chose dommage est que la fumée des fumeurs a l'extérieur entrait aisément à l'intérieur de l'endroit, mais c'est quelque chose de commun à Paris. read more

We stopped for cocktails and an appetizer. We enjoyed the drinks and Les Oeufs. The reason we didn't give a 5 star rating is because we felt scammed by the server who asked us for a tip and insisted it was customary to tip when we knew it was service compris. He kept talking about adding a tip, which is so unusual. We finally added a tip like we do in America to get him to leave us alone but walked away feeling taken advantage of. read more

What a gem amidst a sea of tourist "good enough" restaurants. To all Paris jet lagged tourists who need a flavorful dinner that isn't fried- come here. Donatello Jogs around the floor ensuring his diners are well attended to. read more

This is a marvelous sidewalk Cafe. We sat here enjoying a nice fried cheese salad, wine, an peach tart and then espresso. I literally didn't want to leave. A wonderful and iconic Paris experience. read more

Great tasting cafe in Paris.. we went after picking up some paris passes.. I had the ceaser wrap salad and it was awesome... others in out group had the roasted chicken and the soup.. both were equally enjoyable! I loved out food read more

We are tourists and this place clearly caters to us, which means that you are likely to get mediocre food and spotty service. Or not. We stopped here after doing the Louvre and were pleasantly surprised, knowing full well that it was a tourist area that is likely to be overpriced. Yes, it was really overpriced (9.50 Euro for a pint of Heineken?). Nonetheless, we had a quite pleasant lunch. I had not had a burger in 6 weeks so I got a cheeseburger. It needed salt, but overall it was above average. It was cooked perfectly medium as requested, the patty was substantial, and the bread was excellent. Not sure about the Russian dressing type-sauce but it was not bad. Overall, a juicy, flavorful burger. Came with fries. And the waiter brought some ketchup. The wife got confit de canard (duck leg) and loved it. She said the meat was moist, tender, and very flavorful. Our service was very good. The waiter spoke English well and had a sense of humor. Overall, I don't have any major complaints except for the fact the lunch cost 50 Euro with tip, which is a lot for a burger, beer, duck leg, and glass of wine. But what the hell, it's vacation so you have to enjoy. read more

So after exploring the city on the hop on hop off tour we came across this gem. Wow what a great choice!! We were promptly greeted and seated by warm smiles and a bonjour. Our server was very nice and very patient since we are not French speaking and couldn't pronounce some of the dishes. I decided on the duck breast and mashed potatoes. I was feeling Adventurous and I'm glad I did it was soooo good. The gravy was flavorful and the potatoes were even fluffy like clouds. My bf has chicken it was good as well super flavorful. For dessert I got creme brûlée - which is my fav fav dessert in the world. It was creamy , smooth and I could tell it was real vanilla beans. Bf got some apple tart - I didn't care for it could be I'm a sugar addicted American- but it wasn't sweet at all and had a weird consistency like hard chewy jello. Again thought you can tell the apples were fresh if that makes sense. We also had wine- a sweet white one. Overall a great first meal in Paris. Truly enjoyed it read more

We arrived in Paris after flying overnight from the US and Le Musset was beautiful and welcoming! We rolled up with our luggage and they said Bonjour and motioned for us to seat ourselves. The chocolate croissant, the hot chocolate and the eggs were all very delicious! They have plenty of outdoor seating if you want to people watch and the inside is lovely and clean. We enjoyed our meal and the service and would highly recommend this gem. read more
Stopped here for a drink and a quick dinner! The inside had a cool vibe and the waiters were super friendly and accommodating (even after we asked to be moved inside because it got chilly out). I had the Grey Goose Ginger Mule-which was lovely! For dinner I had the poke bowl which was surprising fresh and delicious. We shared fried calamari which was the perfect touch to a great dinner! read more

This was my first meal in France, and it caused me to be very disappointed in French cuisine. Where were all the aromatic smells and laughing guests and delicious dishes that I had seen on TV? This place has none of that. Basics: This is an overpriced tourist-aimed spot in Paris that was empty even at dinner time. We only went in because we had just gotten off the plane and were desperate for some food in the area. Food: +duck entree: I enjoyed the syrup on top of the deck because I'd never had sweet duck before. Other than that, the duck was cold and not outstanding. +beef stew, lamb: Nothing special +escargots: This had a weird bad taste and was cold as well. +foie gras: Jam was good with the foie gras. It tasted pretty good to me, but maybe that's because I'm no expert with this. The "mineral" water was € 7.90. WHAT THE HECK. Other restaurants just ask if you want tap water for free. DO NOT COME HERE. It's expensive and subpar--you're better off spending your well earned money somewhere else. Go to the other side of the river where there are a lot better restaurants. read more
