I order a birthday cake from the bakery Dept from their website 3 days ahead of time. The cake I requested was all black buttercream, when I went to pick up my birthday cake the employee behind the counter asked if I was here to pick up the "black cake" I said yes. The employee proceeded to tell me they don't have black buttercream and that they have to mix it, she showed me the cake it looked like garbage, not even close to black more like a green grayish creation. They should have called and told me as soon as the order was placed instead of waiting until I showed up to pick up my order the day of the party. read more

This use to be my go Ralph because was close to my work and really clean and organize. However the tags and no in order. I went to self checkout and the price was not right so I wait for someone to came help me. The "manager" (blonde woman ) said she can not leave her station to go check and sent a kid that came back after 10 min slowly with the wrong picture of the item but to my surprise the "manager " who was not able to leave her station was walking around helping other customer and looking for stuff for them. Now I went myself and tuck and picture came back and she still no owner the price said was another item and that someone can go grab it for me. On the end no one came with the item and I left without anything after 30 min on the store. Horrible I will think2 times before I came back. read more

Same run down store, still over-charging. As much as possible I try to not shop here, but it is very close, and I'm desperate I have no choice. You truly have to be on high alert when you go to this store, scary people are always lurking around. The store always seems a little messy and crowded. The employees are the best thing about this store. I'm usually rushed, and many times over-charged from the marked price, but no time to get it corrected. I think they count on this. I would gladly pay more to go to a store that is safer and I'm not over charged repeatedly. read more

The store is fine and reminds me of any other Ralph's. The biggest problem for me is that it always seems like one of the registered people is watching me. I understand they're just there to do their job but to feel like a criminal any time that I go to check out is uncomfortable and honestly just feel like I'm profiled. My go-to gas station when I am either getting on or off the 5 freeway in the area. The lines can be crazy depending on the gas prices and the time of day! Some days, this place is a major traffic jam, while other days, you wonder where did everybody go! There's only one entrance into this station, but you can maneuver your car the other direction, too (shhhh...) and get some gas. Just be nice, people! read more

The wait time at around 8:38pm was unacceptable... I think I waited in line for about 12 plus minutes.. one regular check stand open and the self checkout were only open. This place was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. The parking lot was full and there's alot of parking available. It's not as big as other Ralph's but has lots of lanes open for check out (actual clerks and self-service). Plenty of pretty sunflowers upon entering the grocery. Nice bakery area too. Soda aisle was stocked. Those are the only aisles I went in... didn't need much. read more

Had a nice experience shopping in here last night, they had a digital coupon for $3 off on a 12 pack of soda, but the coupon wouldn't load on my phone after I scanned the QR code. It's 9am on a Saturday am. It's just a few days before TG. They are short staffed with a condescending manager by the name of John. He was demeaning and condescending to an employee in front of customers! It's ridiculous that people like him are allowed to manage staff. The employee was 20 minutes late to restock pies. "I can't be down here every 20 minutes to check if stuff is restocked" " you told me 20 minutes ago you were going to stock the pies" instead of criticizing her why didn't he help? Instead he spent 10 minutes demeaning her in front of of employees and customers. He was loud enough for many customers to hear! It's a busy weekend, start unloading and restocking John. You should lead by example not by intimidating employees. I will be reaching out to corporate. John should be reported to the labor board and Union. He should be forced to take anti harassment classes. He was intimidating, unprofessional, loud and rude to his employee. He is a bad representative for Ralph's. All the employees have great customer service. We must do better towards each other. read more

I just left this Ralphs and I won't be coming back. I always use self checkout when possible which is what I did at this location. As I was leaving the cashier at the only open register assumed I was shoplifting and was all hello in a condescending tone and asked where I was going. Maybe pay attention to who is using the self checkout to avoid an assumption like that in the future. read more

To be honest, I've been coming here weekly for over 20 plus years, but lately the last few times I've been coming the people that are working in the produce department seem like they don't like their jobs, especially the guy with the long curly hair. Then the quality of the fruits and vegetables is lacking not sure what's going on. Then I notice usually at the checkout stand, they'll ask you your phone number so you can get your discounts the last three times they never asked I had to remind them. This is my local store but they are atrocious at enforcing any mask wearing. I was just there and saw 4 people not wearing masks and about the same number with their nose sticking out. One of the massless wonders was checking out so it's not that the staff don't see them. This isn't the first time either. Places like this are why Anaheim and Orange are getting so many new cases. If you won't give me a safe shopping environment I am going elsewhere. NOT SAFE! read more

Ralph's always provides great customer service from front of store to the back I love shopping Ralph's I even know majority of workers

By far this is the oldest looking Ralph's I have been to. The inside is so cramped with isles it's suffocating. It's dirty, and the deli is questionable. The freezer where you might get a refreshment of adult content, yes the beer case, the freezer is so old and loud, as it is on its last legs, it doesn't keep the liquor cold. Who wants warm beer?!!! I've gone a few times out of convenience but won't anymore, the staff are not too friendly either, they all look unhappy. I will drive further to smart and final, which is not the greatest either but it is better than this Ralph's. Judge for yourself. read more

Like most other establishments I've visited in the past few months, Ralphs adheres to COVID-19 safety precautions. I went early, so there weren't too many people. I was able to get all the items I needed (and then some). The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's also convenient for me since it's just down the street from where I live. read more

They have a pretty extensive plant-based selection which I love! I've been a kroger plus member for about 15 years now and this is the most extensive low cost selection I've seen. However I was quite surprised when I got home from grocery shopping Monday night, 11/1/21, that I had picked up expired vegan French onion dip by accident. Believe me I meant to buy vegan French onion dip, but was disappointed to see that it was actually expired. Be sure to check the expiration date on their items. Love going to Ralph's because my grandparents used to frequent the store. Since moving to Orange, this location has been great! They always have what we are looking for in a pinch. Sales manager, Pricilla, is possibly the WORST person to be in customer service on the planet. Blatantly rude, disrespectful and should not be working in the service industry. Unlike every other Ralph's and business that serves alcohol, according to her, Ralph's does not accept my paper interim license WITH my expired driver's license card. My drivers license card was expired and I had gone to the DMV the week before to renew it. They give you an official slip to use with your expired card until your new one comes in the mail. She stated, because I didn't have a passport, I was not allowed to purchase the alcohol I had gathered up for our WEDDING happening down the street that ran out of beer. To make matters worse, she put me on the spot and tried belittling me in front of everyone in line telling me to physically step away from the alcohol as it was "illegal" for me to touch it anymore. After calling around to several Ralph's, it is evident that there is no such policy and this woman was lately lying about it being a 'Ralphs policy'. read more

This location absolutely needs a new manager/supervisor on Saturday and Sunday mornings. No room in the aisles to walk through, boxes and stacks of products just all Over the floor. It's literally a safety hazard!! Nothing is ever fully stocked because it's all Sitting on the floor in the aisles. Don't open your store if it is not ready to be in Business. Metal carts everywhere blocking walk ways. Also the employees try to force consumers to use self check out. The one cashier they place to actually ring people up is extremely slow moving pace. Wether they place him there on purpose to have everyone else go to self check out or it's some Type of condition he might have, he should not be placed to be ringing people Up, during busy hours especially Sunday mornings . Worst Ralphs to shop at, Sunday mornings bar none. I went In during the week in the middle Of the day completely different atmosphere! Amazing! This is a nice new gas station very clean and great gas prices !! They have no inside to shop its like Costco gas they do have an attendant here who is very nice and provides good customer service !! Lowest gas prices in the area and if you shop at Ralphs you can get 10 to 20 cents off if you have enough points . read more

The store is super clean and well stocked. They have a nice fresh deli section and there are even Poke Bowls. My 5 stars are for Antonia who went above and beyond to help me. Floral department was closed and I needed balloons ASAP. She went out of her way to help and got what I needed super fast and was still very friendly. This place is down the street from MainPlace Mall. We just went in to get a drink since it was a hot day. They didn't have a lot of clearance items so we just decided to get the drinks we needed without conducting unnecessary browsing. They had clearance oatmeal at the time. Four self checkouts were available. They went at a normal speed. read more

Went to buy organic food for my 11 month old baby and I opened the bag of the organic sweet potatoes and was full of mold. I find most of my grocery list all times, deli department seems to need more associates all times, they seem stressed

This is the closest grocery store to our apartment. First the parking, it's hit or miss depending on the day and time you go but when it's busy it's really a mess. The rows are all one way, so jams are frequent, and there are a lot of bad drivers. To the actual good, the selection here is quite limited. We used to live in Irvine and the selection at the ralphs over there was 100 times better. Most items only have a few choices. Many times we have shopped we couldn't find what we wanted. The meat selection is OK, but produce is limited and quality is sometimes not the best. Don't get me started on the bread selection, it's pretty dismal. The one thing positive is the price, it's one of the cheaper traditional grocery stores around. Definitely less than Vons, and sometimes even Smart and Final. Bottom line, we come here out of convenience, limited selection, decent prices. read more

Today my husband bought some groceries and didn't notice until he was home that our milk didn't make it into the bag. Frustrating? Sure. But when I called to tell them what happened and ask if I could come by to replace the carton if I only had a picture of the receipt, there was no hesitation from the gal I spoke with. She immediately said, just swing by and grab a new one, you're good! We live in Morrison Park, which is a grocery store black hole, but we are happy to drive over to this Ralphs for our groceries, knowing we always receive good customer service and can count on good quality produce, awesome pre-marinated tri-tip, and so much more. This review is for the deli. I don't understand why they're always out of Caesar dressing at the salad bar. They're always out of the salad dressing cups too. I don't care for any dressing other than Caesar and I like my dressing in a cup until I'm ready to eat it. Having Caesar dressing on hand should be an easy task, so I don't understand what the problem is. read more

Ralph's is owned by Kroger, who posted massive corporate profit increases last year on the backs of their workers who were on the front line of a worldwide pandemic. And yet, when asked to share some of that profit with those who's labor earned it, Kroger responded by shutting down 4 stores in southern California; shop somewhere else. They said profits are "razor" thin, yet profits increased 90%. Never again will you catch me in a Ralphs or Food 4 Less. read more

So we started intense training this week so our nutrition had to change. I came here before tonight's workout to get pre and post workout food. Legs and Abs tonight from 9pm to 1am. Yeah, I know. I walked through the store and it looked pretty clean and very big. Well staffed with a lot of registers open. It was prime time, around 7:30pm so it was nice to see that people were working in stead of being lazy at peak hours. Floors were well polished and shelves were stocked. Aisles were wide and everything looked like they were in place. My emphasis was in the deli. Got two sandwiches - turkey and roast beef, and a cheese, veggie and hummus. Afterwards, added pretzels, mustard, olives, gouda, and a rotisserie chicken to my basket and I was off to the express register. The lady behind the deli case was courteous and did a good job manning the fort all on her own even though she was well into her 50's, arguably into her 60's. Some dude came out towards the end and helped me with my sandwiches. He was very nice and accommodated my picky health nut specifications. The lady at the checkout register was very fast and efficient. She said "hello" and "have a nice night" and wasn't too obligatory about it. I also saw the store manager making his rounds during my visit and he said "Hello" to mostly everyone. For a grocery store, I was very impressed. I don't think I've ever had such a well rounded experience in any grocery chain. Good job Ralphs. If only the Ralphs near my house was as good as this location. read more

Idk how he works there, one of the self check out machines isn't working and he was up front near the self check out stations, he sees me struggling and just walks away.
