Store is fine but gas station I will avoid going to at all costs. Our debit cards have been cloned here (along with many neighbors) twice in the last year. This is the only location we have all been to that we've used our cards at. The pumps are poorly maintained and the scanners for discounts are often broken. Avoid the gas station if you can. Raley's really is a great grocery store. Things I love about shopping at Raley's: 1. The store is always clean and well stocked. 2. The staff are super friendly and helpful. 3. They have a nice little organic section of produce. 4. Their meat counter is one of the best in town. 5. They have a nice selection of local wines. 6. Good deli selections. 7. The "Extra" magazine. Things that are not my favorite about Raley's: 1. Everything seems to cost a little more at Raley's. 2. Not a great selection of organic dairy products. 3. Hmm... I guess that about sums it up. Raley's is a great store with friendly staff but their pricing is a little higher than some of the other stores in town. Very happy to see the measures Raley's has put in place in view of the Covid19 pandemic. As a senior, going to the store has become my most stressful essential outing. But having the sneeze guards in place at checkout, and marked spaces to keep a safe distance while waiting in line, and controlling the over-buying of paper items by keeping them at checkout, has all made this easier for me. So much better than my recent experiences at Walmart. Yes, the prices are higher. But safety measures make it worth it to me. read more

Very good experience at Raleys for the most part. I spend about $2000 per month on groceries and at least expect to have a courtesy clerk available to help me out to the car. It seems there is a lot of management just standing around not assisting when needed. A lot of times my husband has to pack our bags are groceries and no one is available to do so. A good example is Mike a courtesy clerk, he always takes time to check my basket to see if I will need to help out. He can pack my car like nobody else can. His statement to me was," the price was there". He said it 3x's. I really had to bite my tongue because no one was asking him and his comment started to sound like he was being a smart ass. Love Aisle 1. Seems like they're always busy, but well worth it, if you shop at Raley's or BelAir. I am constantly getting $.50 off per gallon just for doing my regular shopping and spend what I would of spent anyway!!! $0.50 off when you spend $150.00+ $0.25 off when you spend $100.00+ $0.10 off when you spend $50.00+ What this really looks like: $3.75/gal is now $3.25/gal if you spend enough on you're grocery bill. Deli: Over the last 6 months of traveling through, I have stopped to get a sandwich. The 1st sandwich was excellent and would of given it 4 stars. Since then, I have given it numerous attempts to redem themselves with awful sandwiches: Stale bread, not having everything for the sandwich where they say it has(mixed greens, you know that yuppie greens? only to have old bruised romaine). My last attempt was a breakfast burrito. They did not have any veggie ones which once again they say they have on menu. I ended up getting a a bacon one which made me very sick later that day. I even picked the bacon out! Phew, thank goodness, the porcelin was not my best friend for long! For now on when I am driving south on 99, I am going to keep on driving right past Raleys and skip that trip to the deli. read more

I got here a few times a week. I like it when I get the 10 cents off or 25 cents off groceries. The people are nice. Super clean. They are always sweeping the floor! My son loves to get his free cookie and free Raley's balloon. now he also like to sample the cheese from the deli guy ;) I get there e coupons as well, sometimes there is free items in there or really great deals. i like there add too. I had went to get my coffee made they had to remake it 2 times and when I told her about it she waved her hand at me and told me she didn't care! MIND U I WORK AT A BEL AIR!!! We ordered a cake in the bakery department. It was delicious. I called in the order and the person wrote down the wrong name and number. When I went to pick up the cake it took a little searching since the other employee wrote down my name and number wrong. Thankfully the cake was correct and I hadn't requested a message for the cake. I work in the shopping center where this Raleys is located and I absolutely love it. The organic section cannot be beat! It is absolutely one of the best ones I've been to. Not only that, but everything is always clean and faced. Which those two things always create a great shopping experience. I live in Lodi and wish the one in town there was more similar to this one. I love Raley's deli and salads. I eat my lunch there practically every day. Recently they relocated the salads and moved them near the sushi bar. The cooler is too cold and the salads are freezing and the lettuce has been wilted. I will not buy them anymore. Can you please correct this! I miss my salads. read more

Unfortunately, I have to shop here all the time. The service is at the checkout is horrible. I find them to be incredibly rude. The prices are very high and I rarely get offered help to my car with my groceries. Which would be very helpful being I always have two small children with me. In Galt we don't have a lot of grocery stores to choose from. I find it very sad when I get better customer service at Walmart. ***I usually have a positive experience and the deli and bakery, I often order trays for entertaining and they are typically very friendly and helpful. Raleys today for on line as always went well. I called in and pressed 4 for the meat department. It rang off the hook. After the many rings Cathy picked up the phone. i explained what my 2 phase question was for the meat department. the questions were the sodium and cholesterol content on the Beyond Burger Plant Based Burger Patties. Cathy said she would check on it and call me back. Within 5 to 10 minutes Cathy called back and gave me the needed information,. The sodium count was too far over my allowance. I thanked Cathy for her great help. This is customer service above and beyond the normal reactions to same. If you want the best do not settle for less. Make Raley's you #1 choice as it is the best. I grew up in San Jose which didn't have a Raley's. Every summer we would vacation in Lake Tahoe which did. Without a doubt, it was our favorite store. With it's fantastic selection, large isles, great customer services, and descent prices, we couldn't be any happier. Now I live in the Central Valley and am happy to drive right past other stores to get to my Raley's. It's clean, well lit, stocked full, and the meats and produce are always pleasing. While this locations bakery is lacking when compared to other Raley's, it still puts out a great cake or two and I love those eclairs! :) Having become accustomed to the Raley's in Manteca, I still find myself two years later still looking lost when trying to find an item. Some of the products are placed in areas that don't make sense to me, but for the most part, you can find what you're looking for fairly quick. One other benefit is the Raley's Aisle 1 which is the name for it's gas station. The gas isn't the benefit but rather the discount (10 cents for $50 spent and 25 cents off per gallon for $100 or more spent) at the pump you'll get. Without that discount, Isle 1s gas is pricey, but with the two bits off, you'll be cheaper than those "cash only" discount places at times. I state at times because it takes them like weeks to reduce the price to reflect the market. When it does get corrected, you quarter off will nab you a great deal. read more

I used to shop at this Raley's when I lived in Galt because it was closer to me than Save Mart. It was decent and it was great whenever I wanted to use the wifi. You can stay for hours and no one would bother you. What I can say however is that you MUST be careful of the expiration dates when it comes to cheese. There were a few times I would go to the store for a specific cheese and find it tasted funny. When I looked at some of the packages, I would see that it was expired by months past. When I tried to return it, the manager took it back but suggested that I look at the date before I open the package. I recently purchased a 10 lb. bag of potatoes. Upon opening them as soon as I got home the first two potatoes out of the bag were rotten and growing eyes. I figured no problem Raleys will refund me since I have never had a problem in the past. I went back to the store with the receipt and stood where I have stood for the past 15 years waiting for someone to come assist me. I stood there for at least 10 minutes making eye contact with no less than 6 employees, including one who came behind the counter and ignored me and walked off while I waited for him to fiddle around behind the counter. I figured I would have to wait it out, so I sat on the counter hoping that I would then get someone's attention. A young lady at least 40 years my junior walked over from the self check out area and stated that I wasn't to sit on the counter. I told her I was in need of assistance and she then informed I was standing in the wrong spot and informed me that I needed to move over approximately seven feet.... which I did then she walked off. She then came back from the self checkout lines and assisted me. I attempted to point out to her that there was no signage of any kind indicating where to stand for customer assistance. She stated well this is where the cash is, it might just be me but I think I had just been insulted... after completing my shopping I asked to speak to the manager. He listened to my story and attempted to validate his employees behavior then walked off. With Walmart moving in across the street, I suggest that Raleys try just a little harder to keep the long-time customers instead of driving them away... read more

I was curious to see if people review grocery stores on Yelp and it looks like they do. Some people will review just about anything! Here is my review... I buy food and household goods here. It is convenient and they have what I need or a reasonable substitute. Thanks to items purchased at Raley's I have yet to starve, have kept up on my personal hygiene and my house is reasonably clean. I can also get my meds at the pharmacy. I have been unhappy with Raley's in Galt for some time now. You have to really watch their expiration dates of dairy. I mean REALLY watch it. And they are as I see it VERY dishonest when it comes to many sale items. I've watched an item for some time for it to be on sale, the sale price remains the same as before and they tell you you are saving a dollar as the original price was a dollar higher. I went in today and found it true over and over. I was so angry I discussed it with another customer. She agreed and does most shopping elsewhere. This is the high end quality clean store that you have been searching for if you are new to Galt! The service is terrific and they have a coffee bar that serves multiple milk options that I just found out about today, that's why I am happy to share this with others! They just started serving almond milk I was told a few weeks ago and found out by surprise today! I highly recommend this store. They even have a natural foods/organic section which is where we mosey over to. Just received and witnessed the worst and rudest customer service I have ever seen in a grocery store. I started to approach the check stand and was screamed at that she was not open. It was not just me that noticed as more than a few people looked to find out what was happening. I held my temper which does not seem to be the norm, probably should have screamed and thrown everything on the floor following the standard set. I thought it was maybe me she did not like but not the case. While at the self check out trying to not get yelled at for buying groceries,I heard her yell the same thing at another customer again loud enough many people took notice. Yelled at for approaching the check stand does not make sense, maybe she is just very selective of who gets service and who does not,as I was walking out she waited on someone without yelling at them.
