Just received and witnessed the worst and rudest customer service I have ever seen in a grocery store. I started to approach the check stand and was screamed at that she was not open. It was not just me that noticed as more than a few people looked to find out what was happening. I held my temper which does not seem to be the norm, probably should have screamed and thrown everything on the floor following the standard set. I thought it was maybe me she did not like but not the case. While at the self check out trying to not get yelled at for buying groceries,I heard her yell the same thing at another customer again loud enough many people took notice. Yelled at for approaching the check stand does not make sense, maybe she is just very selective of who gets service and who does not,as I was walking out she waited on someone without yelling at them. I love their meat and bakery the most. I go in when they have a good sale on meat and the items I use most. The veggie dept is the best. The prices are a bit higher but I can live with that we don't buy much only 2 of us now. read more

When I drove by I was thinking what is a Raleys? Is that the name of the shopping center? The sign was not very pretty. However, due to circumstances we had to go in and I was rather impressed by this supermarket. It was very clean and had a variety of items to select from. read more

I've always loved Raley's, but the experience I just had topped the charts. I came in to get a sandwich tray for this evening but realized the trays were only for big parties (I'm only serving 6 people) so I decided to just order sandwiches that I could cut up and plate later. Lonnie in the deli went out of his way to make all of the sandwiches, cut them in half, put condiments on the side, and even put them on a tray for me! His customer service was outstanding and he deserves all of the recognition for it. Thank you Lonnie and Raley's for another exceptional experience! read more

Everything about a grocery store you would want...! It's peaceful, nice people, clean!

My husband and I have been going to Raley's in Galt for 17 years. We go once a week or once every other week. I loved going for the quality of the food and did not mind how expensive it it's. The past year has been very disappointing and frustrating going to Raley's. I have witnessed moldy fruits, expired foods, flies in the bakery goods, and my milk going bad way before expiration date (tried all brands of milk). Have had to return multiple items and always out of popular items even on Mondays or Tuesdays. No help on the floor and deli always closes earlier than 8pm (8pm closing for deli). Going to SaveMart for fresh food on the other side of town. So inconvenient. read more

It's either here or Save-Mart on the other side of town. Raley's has a better Deli and higher end cheeses and wines than Save-Mart.

I don't come here often because this gas costs as much as the chevron. So if your getting gas here you better be running on fumes. Service is fine if you need to get some snacks for the road. It's located in a shopping center so if you buy groceries the the grocery store raley's the. There would be a discount. read more

Awful customer services. My sister has told me of her treatment at this specific store. She has a mental disability, and absolutely loved to go into Raleys and get a free cookie for her and her daughter. Recently the bakery has denied service to my sister and her child, who also has a disability. She told me, so I went in to do a bit of research. I made certain that I "stood out" so to speak. Low and behold from the moment I spoke to the girl in produce, passing through the Chinese food and deli, then finally arriving to the checkers, it was Completely obvious that they were having a discussion through there headsets about my appearance. I have filed a complaint with the ADA, and the department of justice for discrimination against disabled persons. Discrimination is treating a person, or group of people, less favourably on the basis of an attribute that the person, or group of people, has. The attribute might be the person's an intellectual disability or their race or their gender. The ADA applies to persons who meet the definition of "disabled." A person is considered disabled, if he or she either actually has, or is thought to have, a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits what the ADA calls a "major life activity." Major life activities are the basic components of any person's life -- including walking, talking, seeing, and learning. Privately-owned businesses and facilities that offer certain goods or services to the public - including food, lodging, gasoline, and entertainment -are considered public accommodations for purposes of federal and state anti-discrimination laws. For purposes of disability discrimination, the definition of a "public accommodation" is even more broad, encompassing most businesses that are open to the public (regardless of type). There are also state laws that broadly prohibit discrimination on the bases of race, color, religion, and national origin in places of public accommodation. To determine whether your state has such a law, you should contact your state or local human rights agency, or your state attorney general's office. Feel free to add these LAWS into your employee handbook. Not only do the have no morals, but they are also BREAKING THE LAW. read more

I always had outstanding customer service. But not today. Went to the deli to get a sandwich for my lunch break they are always fast and friendly but today was the worst. Wasn't event greeted and was skipped 4 times and was looked over like I was a ghost. One girl was just taking her sweet time talking to a co-worker and the other end didn't even care that I was there. the guy who was working just looked me and just went to the customer behind me. That was not nice at all. The people working today at the deli this afternoon were very rude. I've been in the restaurant industry for 12 years.. this had never happened before and I'm a very nice and understanding person. Ruined my lunch don't think I'm going back on Saturdays anymore or when those people are working. read more

Ok. I only slightly agree with Sven's review about the bakery lacking compared to that of other Raleys. I ordered a cake here for my daughters birthday party. The cake was delicious and looked fantastic. However, the meats, deli, and seafood kick butt. Quick, convenient, clean, but expensive. This might be the highest priced gas in town. However it's in a nice safe area and there is a car wash and a small convenience store. Staff are professional and friendly. If you need more than crackers and juice you can always cross the parking lot and shop at the Raleys. However, if you are looking for cheap gas, this isn't it. read more

Good friendly service. Prices are ok. Higher than others in town. Was better when they first opened. Didn't mind the higher price when the washed the windshield for you. Recently used the car wash and was surprised. $5 for a good wash and nothing scratches you car. Touchless but actually gets my truck clean! That's pretty amazing in itself! sometimes the lines get a bit backed up but if you time it right it's great. read more

I like Raley's over Walmart friendlier people customer better service. Today I had my first bad experience at Raleys. AT the checkout line bagging groceries box boyz picking his nose 4 buried treasure. Luckily by the time I got up and my groceries came through he had moved to another checkout stand. read more

Every time I go into Raley's after work, Kevin is always working. He constantly greets me with a smile and asks about my day. He is one of the most efficient workers I've seen at the store and he takes the time to make sure everything is done accurately. Seeing Kevin is always refreshing and brightens my day. I wish that the other employees of this store would exhibit the superior customer service that I consistently receive from Kevin. read more

If you want to make sure the cupcakes you took great care to not have tip over during your entire shopping trip look like they rolled around the back of a truck, then definitely have the checker Kevin ring you up. He will certainly just throw them around as he's ringing them up for you and then give you crappy customer service on top of that. read more
