Leo Camarillo Roast Beef
Cara B.

Their sandwiches are the best. You can never go wrong with a roast beef Leo Camarillo. I try to make a stop every time I am back in town, I crave it!

As always, the food is tremendous! Sandwiches are tasty, the bread is fresh and awesome, and the side salads are very good. Can't be in a hurry however, it took us about 45 minutes to get our sandwiches.

Honestly, the sandwiches here are delicious. I've been here so many times and I'm never disappointed with the food. It is unfortunate they close relatively early and that you're almost guaranteed to wait a long time for your order but the food is worth it.

Seriously I just had the best sandwich ever here!! The sourdough roll was bomb: warm, soft & delicious. I will definitely be back to try a different one, they all looked delicious. Service was good even during the busy lunchtime. Warm, fun, old Italian vibe restaurant

Great sandwich, great service and the setting made it feel old school. Most importantly, very good ice tea.

Amazing food. It's so good that it's not out of the ordinary for there to be no available tables or chairs to sit at.

As we drove into the parking lot bright umber kumquats welcomed us to old world Italy. Thee bright eyed host graciously showed us to our table even though we were tardy to our reservation - we had travelled a great distance winding through backroads lined with orchards of apples and almonds. Offered the choice of dinning room or neon lighted gladiator hall - we chose the former and fell into our seats in view of the chefs and gallant servers. After a mere 10 minutes water appeared at our table in clean glasses with cube of ice. Promises of bread were made. As dawn turned more to dusk and the moon rose over the sierras and orchards, neither bread nor server came to fruition. After beckoning the cheese boy we were able to request arancini, salad, two glasses of crisp Chardonnay , and Sean's special. More dusk came... The wine and salad arrived and appeased our hangry souls. Never has a Caesar tasted so Kraft fresh and then came the ten rolls. I swear you could taste the thawck and pop of the pillsburry tube in every biscuit-y bite. The cheese boy generously offered heaping spoonfuls of brownish minced garlic to accompany we don't know what? Perplexed, we politely declined. Finally as trumpets sounded and the leaning tower leaned a bit more our Sean's special pasta arrived. Never since the fall of Rome has Italy suffered a greater insult. We could've for $3 more, ordered the vodka sauce instead of the pink tinted cream. There was no cheese boy to save us. The redeeming ray of light was the in-dinner entertainment of observing two awkward teenagers on their third ( maybe second ) date. Silence...screen time ...silence. It was beautiful to see them wild and free in their natural habitat. One night with you Firenze will fill our hearts for a lifetime. Love, D and R

I can't eat a lot at one time, so despite some adverse reviews I'd seen online about the fried calamari and shrimp, I went ahead and ordered it-and I'm so glad I did! It was hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked-not greasy at all! My hubby had the meatball sub-despite it not really being available during dinner hours, but he's not really a fan of pasta, so the waitress (and chef) kindly made special accommodations for him. We didn't ask, they helpfully offered to do so. Hubby said the red sauce was really good, and he enjoyed the sandwich. I felt bad because they appeared short staffed for the amount of business they had, and they had run out of a few things, but the pressed on gamely and made the best of it. All of the staff was kind and very helpful. We will definitely be going back again soon! I want to try the yummy sounding seafood risotto.

It's quieter and less busy. You can tell the staff take pride in cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. The pasta is definitely fresh/ homemade. I disagree STRONGLY with the other review that suggested it's pasta-roni style sauce. The ingredients are fresh and food was good. We've tried the Rigatoni, Gnocchi, Lasagna, Fettuccine, Lobster Ravioli, Mango Panna Cotta, and Torta Al Cioccolato and their fresh hot bread; all were enjoyable. When we've come the staff took some time to tell us a bit about the family history- passed along traditions and it's clear the recipes as well. This is a family-oriented legacy for these folks. And there's honor in that. If you're into just food, vibes, and low prices- this is NOT your venue. This is a place to celebrate a family (the owners) sharing a bit of themselves with you and yours. Note- people who complain typically mention price without thinking it's not just the food cost, but the lease, utilities, the insurance, staff wages. You're not going to get out to dinner here less than $60 for 2 (with a nominal tip and no booze). But THATS THE POINT- I'm thankful for the care, time, and heart that is put into each dish. We will be back and share this oddly-located, pretty tasty place with our friends and family.

No one knows that brucetta is toasted crostini FIRST then place the tomato/garlic on top!! The died ravioli was so dry tasting bland. Chicken picatta had zero flavor and side veggies were hard as a rock. Rick shrimp pasta was super bland as well. We stated it was a birthday celebration and he acknowledged it upon greeting us but didnt do one damn thing when we ordered the bread pudding! We were seated wayyyyyyyyyyyyy in some back room by a busy walkway that people kept going through. The helper servers come by wayyyy too often to fill water which was very annoying- here's a thought- leave the pitcher or get bigger water glasses!! The helpier that picks up dirty dishes came by and wanted the dirties the second we were done (and sometime before we were done)! He even disturbed the waiter as he was talking to us about our next order and asked the waiter to pass him one of the dirty app dishes!!! So basically, the chef needs to hade others taste his dishes to see they need more seasoning and the wait staff and their helpers need to read the room....not bother the waiters when they're speaking, leave pitcher of water if they see us drinking it too fast for them to keep up! And for gods sake, when people say they're celebrating something, acknowledge it!!! We spent over $200 on a mediocre experience and didn't even get a flipping bday candle!! No desire to return.

We were quickly seated to our table and what a great spot it was. We had our Granddaughter and there was an adorable playhouse out there for her to play with which she truly enjoyed. For our meals we selected the mushroom prosciutto truffle pizza and classic pepperoni, again incredible taste.
