Mini Gujarati thali
Amruta F.

Mini Gujarati thali: Was great. The dal was very authentic Gujarati dal- a little bit sweet sour. Combo #2: it consists of 4 chapatis + 2 curries, Raita, pickle. This was good, but the okra I took was just fine, was expecting a amazing one as my friend had heightened it for me. Pros: Great food for a inexpensive price! Cons: Kinda casual dining, small place. Good for takeout though.

Mini cocktail samosas
Priyanka M.

A small restaurant located behind an Indian grocery store. I have only tried their mini cocktail samosas which turned out to be delicious appetizers! They are very good. 3 mini cocktail samosas for $1 which is pretty decent. Very crisp and the pea potato filling was great too! They were a total hit at the party! However the mint chutney that came with the samosas was way too diluted and watery. The tamarind chutney was ok.

Mini Gujarati Thali with undhiyu and roti

Excellent little restaurant! We ordered the Gujarati thali and the combo #2 along with the moong daal wada and the Mohan thaal, puran poli. Everything was excellent! Really enjoyed the food.

Gross half frozen dahi puri! Buyers beware!

Fresh. Cleanest indian restaurant in the metroplex. Small place inside a grocery place, but refreshingly relaxing.

This was not a busy evening and we were seated right away and able to give our order but, the server who should have been following up on us was unable too which led the only other server to be able to not be available as much. We ordered chaat which was nothing special, i make better at home and a masala pav bhaji with cheese which was also ok. It innovative but, the delivery lacked. The chai was good and i enjoyed that. Overall just an okay experience, a quick stop if you go but, you're not really missing much.

Our servers make sure our waters were refilled at all times. All of the dishes I tried were so amazing! We ordered family-style so everyone could try multiple things. Also ordered a bunch of naan, which was so soft and yummy, and it paired well with many of the other dishes. Mango lassi was also refreshing and sweet, which helped with the spice of many of the dishes. The inside is not the cleanest, but there are large and small tables for groups of all sizes. They also sell baked goods and desserts in the front near the cashier. Parking is super easy, and there's a large lot in front

It just feels very manufactured. The menu is varied. If you've read my reviews before, you know that I'm a Texa-fornian, so there are a lot of places in Texas that don't suit my palate (or my waist line.) I was easily able to find a couple of things that I would have enjoyed. Based solely on the calorie count, I picked the salmon with cauliflower rice. It was a little oily, but it was good. I cleaned the plate. It's dark inside, like a steakhouse. Not for me, but if that's your thing, you would be happy. It's clean the food's fresh and if you're a drinker, there is a lot of beer. I'm not a drinker. Maybe you're asking why did you even go? Someone gave me a gift card and someone gave my daughter a gift card, so we had to use them.

They're known for massively tall "yard" servings of beer, though I didn't see anyone trying one on my lunchtime visit. They do have a good 4 pages of beers on the menu! The place has high ceilings with exposed pipes lending an industrial vibe. The menu helpfully marks vegetarian options as well as lower calorie choices. I was impressed to see power outlets along the purse hooks below the bar - if you wanted to bring a laptop and catch up on work emails, it'd be possible. Our waitress was business-like and a little unfriendly, and service was terribly slow. The food was good. Free refills on our drinks flowed freely. I tried a veggie burger which was a bit spicy and oaty. I wish I'd tried a salad! Still, I appreciated that they worked with me on reserving tables for a large group all with separate checks.

August 22, 2025 review:…read more ------ Back in the India, I've always been a fan of Bikanerwala. I had heard that there was Bikanerwala in east coast but had never tried in USA before. Being in Austin, I was definitely craving for food north Indian food so thought of making a trip to the Irving, TX. Food: 10/10 Ambience: 10/10 Food prep time/service: 10/10 I reached there on a Friday around 11:50am, pretty empty but people started walking in right after we got the table. It's a fast food restaurant so basically you place the order first and grab a table and they will call your order number. We got chola bhatura, masala chai and Raj kachori. The Raj kachori came pretty quick and was full of flavors. I loved it completely. It was crunchy and had well mix of chutney at the same time. Chai was ok, it was pre made just like any other restaurant. Chola bhatura was amazing. Bhatura was being made just next to the food window. So as soon they were coming out, they were out on a plate and served. Bhatura was not oily, and almost every single one of them was fluffy. I saw chola bhatura plate on almost every single table (at least 6 tables were occupied at that time) Chole was also good, little bit on spicy side. It came with a side of pickle packet, onion and cucumber, fried mirchi. Most of folks were also trying their Thali. We got the deluxe thali which came with dal makhni, Shahi paneer, mix veg, Raita, pickle packet, onion, cucumber and lemon, rice, a sweet (which was mathura peda in our plate) and 2 breads (naan, laccha parantha). They can provide to-go box if you have some item leftover from Thali. None of item disappointmented at all. We got also the sweets,Rasmalai and some dry snacks for to-go. You can choose, mix and make your own box. Price for sweet is around $20 per pound. For 1 pound, we got 12 pieces of sweets platter. Overall restaurant was clean, water and utensils were there. Restroom were also clean. This place is around 1 year old but have been maintained good.
