Came here for lunch with the family on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed but the food was great. We were lucky to grab a table right as a group was leaving, but every table was taken for lunch. The line moved quickly and the employees at the counter were nice. Our food was also ready pretty fast, we didn't have to wait long the chicken was hot and crispy, same for the fries - they were nice and crispy, no soggy fries thankfully. The canes sauce was fantastic - it pairs perfectly with both the chicken and fries. The coleslaw was good too. We found parking without too much of a hassle - but I will note, this area is SO busy with the outlet mall and all of the other businesses right here in the area. Traffic is insane, so just prepare yourself for that. Will definitely be back! read more

I went right after 11am one Sunday so I anticipated that the food would be fresh and it was, thankfully. The chicken and fries did not taste like it was cooked in old oil. The chicken strips were flavorful and the fries were crispy. I went through the drive tru and the service was somewhat slow. What I did think was trash was the cost for an extra sauce. You get one sauce with the 4 piece chicken strip combo and the extra sauce was 40+ cents. IMO I think that's a rip off. read more

This is good chicken! Ordered from the mobile app coming from my son's soccer practice so that it could be ready by the time I arrived. I opted for mobile pick up instead of drive thru and the experience was smooth and easy. First time I set up the app so it took a few extra steps to add what car I had and payment type, but once that was saved the I order process was quick. The pick up process was efficient and the staff is super nice, you can also have the food brought out to your car. The menu has various combo meals depending on what you like, chicken finger baskets or sandwich combos, as far as sides go the meals usually paired with the crinkle fries, slaw and Texas toast but you can modify the order, swap out or remove sides. They have catering options to feed a large crowd too if that's what you need. The sweet tea is so delicious. Also gotta have the Canes sauce with your meal, it just makes the whole meal complete and soo so good! It's Raising Canes, the chicken speaks for itself. And Florida does like its chicken eats! Here's another one in Wesley Chapel. The good part about this place has been the food both times I've dined. Cooked hot and juicy. I love the sauce. Staff is friendly and helpful. But...the 3 stars is simply because location is super inconvenient, parking lot is minuscule as is the dining area. Once we got our food there wasn't a single place to sit. And staff isn't aloud to request guests who aren't eating to clear out. There were tables of guests just sitting while new guests were piling in. Poor planning on Raising Canes part. Not staffs fault. So note to self, if you're eating at this location grab your food to go! Especially during busy times. read more

It's hard to find the entrance to the drive through and then if you go the wrong way there isn't a good place to turn back around. Also after I ordered my food I felt like there was no place to stand and wait for my food without being out of the way. Raising Cane's--Finally in My Backyard! I first spotted Raising Cane's on a road trip, then saw YouTubers raving about it--so when it opened near me, I had to see what the hype was about. The setup is clean and efficient with two drive-thru lanes and cooling fans. The menu is simple, mostly chicken finger combos. I got the Box Combo. The tenders were juicy and flaky, though I wish they had a bit more seasoning. The fries were your standard crinkle-cut, and the Texas toast was buttery with just the right crunch--easily my favorite part. The combo comes with coleslaw, but I didn't try it. They have two sauces: Cane's Sauce and Honey Mustard. Both taste mayo-based to me. Cane's Sauce reminded me of mayo and ketchup with some seasoning. The honey mustard was lighter than I expected and had a unique twist. Taste them yourself and see what you think. The staff was friendly and efficient. Visited the New to me Clearwater Beach location to see if it lived up to the memories we had of this chain in Louisiana. This location has now been open a little over a year and it seems to have gathered quite a following as it was busy on the Thursday lunchtime that we visited. We both got the box combo which came with 4 chicken strips, a side of coleslaw, fries and a drink. Everything was fresh and delicious and exactly what we remembered Raising Canes to offer. I had 3 finger meal with their special sauce ( which basically taste like thousand islands, mayonnaise, ketchup) honestly I don't see the appeal to the sauce. For those that have never had the pleasure of Raising Canes it's simple, the menu is made up of 5 options the box which is 4 fingers, the 3 finger, the caniac which is 6 fingers or the sandwich 3 fingers in sandwich with the fixings and for kids 2 finger combo. You do you, but I will say the mother load of all mother loads. The sauce is the boss. If you are like some and want to bath in the sauce just say "I love the sauce get me the big one" they will serve up the sauce in a cup. I guess I got ripped off. I ordered a Caniac Combo with 6 extra fingers, and 8 extra sauce, a diet coke and a water. When I got my food there was no diet coke, just a water. So I said "I ordered a diet coke with my meal", and the girl at the drive thru said "check your receipt ", so I did and I said "well it just says water, no diet coke". She says "you got a tap water with your meal, if you want a diet coke its an extra $2.49 plus tax!". Who ever heard of a tap water being charged for? I paid the extra $2.66 for the diet coke. Not sure what all the fuss is about. This was one of the worst fast food meals I've had in a long time. They have a very limited menu. Only fried tenders, which you can get by themself of on a bun. Fries and coleslaw. The chicken was saturated in grease. I got 2 tenders fried original, and two naked. I could not choke them down. Fries were average. You also only get one thimble of their "special" canes sauce, even for such a large meal...And are charged $0.49 cents a cup for more. We were excited to get there on opening day and receive some free swag! The line was LONG but we timed it and it only took us 30 min to actually receive our chicken from the time we got in the line. I'm sure the wait will lessen over the next couple of weeks as the newness wears off. The interior is super fun with disco balls and lots of fun seating. I wanted to give Raising a try and today was the day (a Sunday). This location was packed in the drive through and a line inside (again, a Sunday). The service was not too bad for the amount of people that were there. We nabbed a table to eat in. You make you order at the counter, step aside or get a seat and they call your name. Its all about the tenders, their main entrée and ingredient for their chicken sandwich. I got the combo - three tenders, fry's and a slice of bread, and their famous "Lemonade" to drink (it's not on the fountain and an extra 30¢ upcharge). The tenders - three stars, They were moist with a touch of seasoning. I have definitely had more favorable, larger and crispy tenders at many other places. They were served hot temperature wise. The fry's also were nothing special, Just a regular crinkle cut lacking any distinct flavor or crunchiness (unlike a CF or PDQ offering), but the temp was good, three stars. The lemonade - I did like the lemonade, decent flavor and not overly sweet, BUT no free refills. So a extra 30¢ upcharge to the combo and if you want a refill you have to pay again? ONE star. All-in-all, I would not visit these guys again. In the world of "Chicken" places, Raising's is OK, but there is much better offerings out there in both quality and value. Fantastic experience! We have been here twice now! The chicken is nice and crispy and the sauce is so good, I have told my kids to please not drink it (LOL). It is that good! I highly recommend getting extra sauce (so your kids do not try to steal your sauce too lol). The soda at this location is extra crisp too! I thought I was eating churches chicken right out the frier. Nothing wrong, just expected, different because with my eyes closed, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Juicy not dry. raising canes is definitely one of my comfort restaurants! i love eating in the restaurant because of the cute decorations but i typically eat outside when it's nice outside. the service is AMAZING here as i never have to wait over 5 minutes for my food and it's always piping hot. my usual order is a box combo with sauce instead of slaw (the slaw is still really good i just dip everything in the sauce) the fries are really good and they're always crispy, and their texas toast is super crispy and buttery, compared to dave's toast which is just a plain slice of white bread. the tenders are really crispy and juicy, but they're a little plain. they're perfect when they're dipped in sauce though! read more
