We got a gift card about a year ago and finally decided to go. We tried different location years ago. I would say it was the most affordable place I have ever seen. With $100 we were able to get two mocktails, which were great, seafood platter for two, a whole plate of mussels, two soups, and 3 sides. Service was friendly and attentive. Place is very clean and modern inside. We came in with our toddler and honestly it was great. Definitely a great place to bring your kid with you, it's spacious and has a great menu. My wife and I met one of my college fraternity brothers for lunch at Bonefish - Lutz/Wesley Chapel this past Monday afternoon. We met there at 1 PM and left at 4:30 PM. We were treated by having a server named Maysonne assigned to our table. In short - he was exceptional - always knew when to stop by and when you disappear! Previously one of my favorite! Ordered curb side to go - noticed a $5.08 fee so I assumed it was a new imposed tip for curbside. Added no tip. Turns out, it is a new imposed"surcharge" of 5% for all curb-side orders. Reportedly to "cover packaging and packing materials". I'm sorry, but I'm hard pressed to spend $100.00 two or three times a week on meals at a restaurant and then have to pay a surcharge for packing it and putting it in a bag. Thanks but no thanks. I let the Manager know that my days of dining from their takeout are over. It's a shame, because of the food is delicious but I will not pay a 5% Service fee for someone to put my food in a bag. I have been to this is Bonefish location a few times since they moved from their original location on BBDwns. I wanted to review today because the service with Matt was exceptional. My husband and I went for late lunch yesterday and Matt's service was truly appreciated. I even overhead him on another table trying to accommodate someone who is vegan. I enjoyed their prix-fixe lunch with the seasonal winter martini. My only regret is that I didn't realize I had a $10 off reward through December 7th that could have been used. I met my husband at Bonefish Grill so that is our anniversary restaurant. This year marked our 12th year anniversary. The restaurant is always clean and the servers very attentive. I love the decor, classy and minimal. This year for some reason the food all seamed a little off with flavor. I started with the grilled oysters, not bad but nothing to really talk about either. I can say the bread and dip is always good and offer plenty of it! We will return in 2026 for the 13th anniversary because it's just our thing but hopefully the food will be back up to par. Tonight reality hit - this is a 3-star restaurant. Sometimes a little better, and sometimes a little worse. Starting with cocktails - one was perfect. The other, a premium Whistle Pig old-fashioned was missing a very important ingredient. There was no candied peppered bacon. And that would've made this special. I asked about it and it took about 20 minutes before they finally almost had some bacon, but didn't. And by then the cocktail was gone. No attempt to make it right. And no apology. Next, the main courses. We both had bourbon glazed salmon, which was a little spicy, but very enjoyable, otherwise. However, it seems they ran out of dinner plates as they were both on a salad plates. This made it very uncomfortable/difficult to eat. I mentioned this to our server. His smart ass answer was, "would it have tasted any better on a big plate?" Good response in a comedy club not so much in a restaurant. The first time that I experienced Bonefish Grill was at a location in the Austin, TX area that no longer exists so I was pleased to have the opportunity to relive the great culinary experience that I had in Texas. To get the old palate in gear, I ordered an Old Fashioned that was executed to perfection and did not disappoint. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer which was a very good choice and for my main course, I had the Rockefeller Butterfish which was absolutely delicious. You can never go wrong by starting with Bang Bang Shrimp. This dish has been a staple at Bonefish for years and is packed with flavor, featuring a slight kick of heat. It pairs perfectly with the complimentary ciabatta bread they drop off at the table. Today, I went for lunch and ordered the Bang Bang Tacos. They are fresh, seasoned, and light, served with fries. It's the perfect portion for a lunch-sized meal. I usually go for the sirloin and crab cake combo if I come for dinner. Enjoyed my dinner at Bonefish Grill tonight. I arrived around 8:00 PM and the restaurant was extremely busy. I grabbed a seat at the bar where I was greeted promptly, and my drink order was taken immediately. I enjoyed several ice-cold bottled Bud Light beers while looking over the menu and taking in the sites. Throughout the night, the bar staff of three were very friendly, engaged, and attentive to the needs of all the guests seated at the bar. After placing my order, I was offered complementary bread with extra virgin olive oil. Although the bread was very eye appealing and tempting, I declined the offer because I didn't want to get too full before my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Stuffed Shrimp which is described on the menu as jumbo shrimp stuffed with lobster imperial, topped with lemon butter sauce, served with seasonal vegetable and jasmine rice. The Lobster Stuffed Shrimp was very good, and I would order it again. First, the dish was elegantly presented with every ingredient perfectly placed to enhance the presentation. There were six overstuffed jumbo shrimps topped with a lemon cream sauce and lightly garnished with diced tomatoes and shallots. The shrimps were perfectly cooked, firm and tender. The lobster meat stuffing was also very good with a few chunks of lobster (probably one piece per stuffed shrimp). The jasmine rice was light, fluffy, and paired well with the main ingredients. OMG, the broccoli was probably the best broccoli I have ever tasted. The broccoli was done right, tender, crisp, well-seasoned while the natural taste of the broccoli came through. . We decided to eat here on a whim after we had an extremely disappointing experience across the street at Food+Beer restaurant where we walked out since we weren't getting any service. As soon as we walked into Bonefish, we were greeted right away and sat down at the bar where the bartender promptly greeted us and provided us menus. We were already so relieved that we decided to come here. They brought the fresh bread out promptly as well which we appreciated. Food was very good, my only comment is in regards to some staff members talking right in front of us and one was also commenting how they get to go home soon (one more hour left until restaurant closes). Arrive for a late lunch and we were seated immediately. In our party of 3, 2 of us decided to order apps as our entree and they were satisfying enough that there were leftovers. The Crab Loaded fries were nicely topped with Lump Crab meat and could of just ate that by itself. The Imperial dip was creamy with chunks of Shrimp through. The side of chips did taste a bit stale. We did takeout and I must say how disappointed I was. I believe the mussels got me sick and I'll leave it at that. There are just some things that don't belong in a closed container. For example, the bang, bang cauliflower and shrimp were no longer crispy and they put the sauce on the side, so when you add the sauce and mix it in you get a mushy mess; the breading starts to come off. The sashimi was dry and tasteless. Close to 20% of the mussels didn't open and I believe, as I mentioned early, made me sick. We also had dumplings which were way overcooked, almost hard. They were also very salty. My dinning experiences in other Bonefish Grill's have been pretty good on average. Maybe not the best place for takeout though. read more

We got the grilled rainbow trout with skin and the sea bass. The trout is slightly grilled with blackened flavor. The fish grill perfectly. It come with rice and mixed veggies. I was sitting there for about 12 minutes and no one had come to my table so I had to ask someone to send my server. The server was sweet... But he was busy. So we had to ask for a few items more than once....bread and my friend's drink. She got a side salad and bang bang shrimp... Delicious as always. I asked them if they could still make an off-menu item called Saucy Shrimp that has always been my favorite... Happily, they could. It was so so good. I never get sick of that! I also saw the bacon macaroni and cheese and decided we should have that too...great flavor but not overly cheesy...perfect. Let me start off by saying I'm a big bonefish fan but this location is the worst I've been to. The service was slow and inattentive. We ordered bang bang chicken as an Appetizer since we had a shrimp allergy in our party that was the only good thing about our visit. We ordered the sirloin dinner which was overcooked and chewy when I asked for it to be medium. The salmon was also overcooked and rubbery, my side of asparagus was raw. 2/25/24 - Our previous visits were wonderful but quite some time ago. So many new places to try in this area that we were definitely overdue for another dinner here. We've eaten at other Bonefish Grill's but this one always seems to have friendly outgoing, yet professional servers. Food portions may be a bit smaller than other restaurants but the presentation, flavors, temperature and quality are factors that matter much more to us that having a plate so full we can't see it. We like the lighting, having booths rather than tables, a good bar and nice wines at a reasonable price. It just feels like dinner in a nice place as opposed to a big open kitchen-like eating area. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary, as well as my husband's 75th birthday. Reservations are required but the restaurant was fairly full so I always make a reservation. Although we've always been greeted warmly, our visit started with a truly gracious one from Nathasha. She escorted us to a booth, asked if the setting sun was a bother, and though it wasn't, she explained how easy it was to adjust the shades if we thought it necessary. In addition, she gave us menus and explained the chef's choice and the dinner for 2 options. However during our visit we also noted her kindness in helping others with walkers, crutches, etc as they got seated. This is far beyond what we've had elsewhere, but speaks volumes about hospitality here. After such a delightful start, our experience got even better with our server Addison. After coming promptly to the table, she asked how we'd like to start, and brought water then gave us a few minutes to review the wine list. She returned and asked if we were ready to make a selection and offered to answer Qs if we had any, which we did. Her comments encouraged consider an "Interesting Red" a Portillo. We weren't familiar with it and she quickly suggested we taste it first. It was earthy but not heavy. We definitely liked it and ordered a bottle. We weren't yet ready to order our meals and she seemed to know exactly when to return to the table, again offering to help with information for us to decide. Addison's explanations made everything we asked about sound exceptional, and our needing a few more minutes to decide. We selected the smoky tomato grouper, sides, and loved every morsel. I just want to say if I was only rating my food I would give this 4 stars because the bang bang shrimp was good and the pork chop was cooked to perfection honestly one of the best pork chops I've ever had. My suggestion is to get the pork chop and put the butter or any other topping on the side. My partner got the pasta with shrimp and it was disgusting I took one bite and couldn't swallow it.
