    Bang Bang Shrimp

The first time that I experienced Bonefish Grill was at a location in the Austin, TX area that no longer exists so I was pleased to have the opportunity to relive the great culinary experience that I had in Texas. To get the old palate in gear, I ordered an Old Fashioned that was executed to perfection and did not disappoint. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer which was a very good choice and for my main course, I had the Rockefeller Butterfish which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxed as it was a Thursday night, not crowded nor noisy and our server was extraordinary.

Every now and then you just want some bang bang shrimp. You can always have either a casual meal or a celebration dinner at BFG and everyone will find something to try. The service was excellent and our server Jorgé was great.

Another fabulous dining experience at the Bonefish grill. My girlfriends and I had our monthly 5 courses meal experience. It was amazing as expected with great food and drinks, excellent service, and amazing ambiance. Well done Bonefish Grill. I can't wait for next month.

Arrive for a late lunch and we were seated immediately. In our party of 3, 2 of us decided to order apps as our entree and they were satisfying enough that there were leftovers. The Crab Loaded fries were nicely topped with Lump Crab meat and could of just ate that by itself. The Imperial dip was creamy with chunks of Shrimp through. The side of chips did taste a bit stale. The Scallops were perfectly cooked however the slaw left a lot be desired. There was a few times our server disappeared for awhile but otherwise service was fine. I would come back when in the area.

Yum yum yum! We showed up on a Saturday and to our surprise, all appetizers were half off! The bang bang shrimp is a must! Absolutely delicious if you like a kick of spice. The crab cakes were fresh and delicious ious as well. Our wait was the bomb. Very attentive and let us know about the happy hour for apps. Always circling to ensure we were good. Overall the ambiance is nice here at Bonefish. It is a great spot for any seafood lover.

Brand new Bonefish building. Independent building with good parking space. Food is fresh. Space also wider in compare to the old one. It is definitely a big improvement. We got the grilled rainbow trout with skin and the sea bass. The trout is slightly grilled with blackened flavor. The fish grill perfectly. It come with rice and mixed veggies. I would said one thing, they could have add more rice rather than on scoop of rice. The restaurant should think every customer should go out fill stomach. The sea bass is good thick piece. Good blackened with rice and coleslaw. Overall service is good. I always like the bread and the dipping olive with mixed spice.

I love Bonefish...I always have. This location near the outlet mall on 54 was good...not the best but good. I was seated about 6:30 PM this past Thursday. I was sitting there for about 12 minutes and no one had come to my table so I had to ask someone to send my server. The server was sweet... But he was busy. So we had to ask for a few items more than once....bread and my friend's drink. She got a side salad and bang bang shrimp... Delicious as always. I asked them if they could still make an off-menu item called Saucy Shrimp that has always been my favorite... Happily, they could. It was so so good. I never get sick of that! I also saw the bacon macaroni and cheese and decided we should have that too...great flavor but not overly cheesy...perfect. I took half of it home and ate it cold out of the refrigerator at like midnight and it was still awesome!

I just want to say if I was only rating my food I would give this 4 stars because the bang bang shrimp was good and the pork chop was cooked to perfection honestly one of the best pork chops I've ever had. My suggestion is to get the pork chop and put the butter or any other topping on the side. My partner got the pasta with shrimp and it was disgusting I took one bite and couldn't swallow it. The noodles were over cooked the shrimp was cold and the sauce was terrible. Also the service was nice and our waiter was very friendly.

Excellent customer service, friendly staff, good tasty food. We got to enjoy the happy hour and their wine was pretty good for the price.

So many nautical nods in the decor-rustic coastal-in sort of an 80s/90s way (love). You can almost taste salt in the air-you expect the Gorton's fisherman to walk in. Yes, I could settle in here for a while. And I did. There are chalkboard drink choices on the walls-and a large menu. Happy hour and daily specials add to the options. I asked my friendly and helpful server to help me choose. She was spot on. The onion rings basket was a thing of true beauty. That batter is incredible-so light, so melts-in-mouth good. I'd go back for them alone. (and to try the hush puppies and fried green tomatoes) But then came the main event: a gorgeous piece of fried haddock that hung wayyyy off the bun on both sides-and loads of tasty fries. I swapped out coleslaw for green beans. What a feast! This is a lot of food! And every bit of it was really tasty. The haddock was huge-and so well cooked. It was tender-flaky-with another light batter, that complimented the fish perfectly. I ditched the bun and ate it with a knife and fork. It was just yummy. The fries had a good crunch to them and the bowl of green beans was deep. This is a massive value for money! Oh! And the margarita was good, too! A little tangy-I like that! (There's a full bar area, if you care to belly up) My sweet server was easy to talk to and super efficient. She knows the menu inside and out-and reads her customers well and early. The restaurant was cozy and comfy-it's a casual spot, but well tended and very clean. You really do forget that the busy world is right outside the door. There's tons of parking, but beware on super rainy days-there are low spots in that lot. The water came up fast while I was there and another server warned us to check our vehicles and move them, if needed. I decided to make a dash for it-so didn't get all the pics I wanted-but that's just another reason (along with the scrod and the mahi taco, etc etc) to go back. The Great Catch is a great choice. You can trust the Gorton's fisherman!

We had the smoked salmon bruschetta to start, no picture because it was too yummy to remember beforehand My husband had the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta, extra spicy and it was very good and very flavorful. However, the standout was the skirt steak chimichurri with green beans and jalapeño mac and cheese the steak was so tender, the chimichurri was so fresh and a perfect match for the steak. The green beans were seasoned well and the jalapeño mac and cheese was phenomenal! Overall, a great place for a delicious meal!

We were really disappointed with our experience at Grillsmith tonight…read more The most frustrating part is that when I originally called to make our reservation, I specifically asked for 5:30 PM. I was told they were too busy at that time and that we would need to come earlier if we wanted a reservation. Because of that, I rearranged our evening and our plans to make sure we could get there earlier and accommodate the restaurant's schedule. We arrived around 5:00 PM for our 5:15 PM reservation, so we completely understood that we were early and were prepared to wait until 5:15. What was disappointing was the attitude we received when we arrived. We weren't asking to be seated early--we simply would have been happy to be seated if a table was available so we could get our three kids settled and ready to eat. Instead, we were made to feel like arriving early was an inconvenience. At 5:15, we were ready to be seated and there were several open tables. We were told that an 8-top had just left and they needed to clean the table and floor. We understood that, but then we were left waiting without any updates while we watched other guests who arrived after us get seated. By 5:25 we had been there for 25 minutes total. With three hungry children, we decided we'd waited long enough and left to find somewhere else to eat. What bothered us most wasn't simply the wait. It was the combination of the attitude when we arrived, the lack of communication afterward, and feeling like we were being ignored while other guests were seated. The most irritating part was that we had specifically rearranged our evening because we were told 5:30 was too busy, only to arrive early as requested and then feel like our time wasn't valued. When we finally said we were going to leave, we were simply told, "Okay, have a great day," without an apology or any attempt to address the situation. We understand that restaurants get busy, that tables need to be cleaned, and that arriving early doesn't guarantee an early seating. We were not expecting special treatment. We simply expected basic courtesy, communication, and for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we left feeling very unwelcome and disappointed, and ended up taking our family to the living room for dinner and had a great experience there. After going out of our way to accommodate their schedule, it was frustrating to feel like our time wasn't considered valuable as well.

I grabbed a seat at the bar where I was greeted promptly, and my drink order was taken immediately. I enjoyed several ice-cold bottled Bud Light beers while looking over the menu and taking in the sites. Throughout the night, the bar staff of three were very friendly, engaged, and attentive to the needs of all the guests seated at the bar. After placing my order, I was offered complementary bread with extra virgin olive oil. Although the bread was very eye appealing and tempting, I declined the offer because I didn't want to get too full before my meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Stuffed Shrimp which is described on the menu as jumbo shrimp stuffed with lobster imperial, topped with lemon butter sauce, served with seasonal vegetable and jasmine rice. The Lobster Stuffed Shrimp was very good, and I would order it again. First, the dish was elegantly presented with every ingredient perfectly placed to enhance the presentation. There were six overstuffed jumbo shrimps topped with a lemon cream sauce and lightly garnished with diced tomatoes and shallots. The shrimps were perfectly cooked, firm and tender. The lobster meat stuffing was also very good with a few chunks of lobster (probably one piece per stuffed shrimp). The jasmine rice was light, fluffy, and paired well with the main ingredients. OMG, the broccoli was probably the best broccoli I have ever tasted. The broccoli was done right, tender, crisp, well-seasoned while the natural taste of the broccoli came through. .
