Thai iced tea is perfect. Best Panang Curry I've ever had and I consider it one of my favorite foods! Crab rangoon is crunchy and the crabmeat melts in your mouth. Ordered the Honey Lemongrass Chef Specialty, and it was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat, although a bit on the sweet side. I asked for medium hot, since hot varies so much from one place to the next... and that was nice, but not hot enough. So Brian brought out the hot sauce selection. #1 Powdered Chili, plenty hot! #2 Sriracha... decent. #3 Nam Prik Pao... Oh Yeah! #4 Spicy Fish sauce.. Ok! They changed their menu since the last time we were here. Came in and seated immediately. Got our drinks and ordered our entrees. I got the garlic and black pepper chicken which is not my usual but thought I'd give a try. Ugh I should've stuck with my typical Ginger chicken. This was so bland and lacked any flavor. We sampled chicken satay, papaya salad, yum salad and fresh rolls to start. They were all good- saucy to a fault. The entrees were all good too- we tried the pad Thai, drunken noodles, pork stir fry with chili and basil and the pad se-ew. The prices are reasonable. I just ordered tonight and I'm still eating my food right now, but I just had to pop in here and say this is SO GOOD. I got the pad see ew and the noodles are so flavorful even at the mild level. Also tried a bite of the pineapple fried rice (tomorrow's lunch), and I literally had to take a knee it was so tasty. Super efficient (said 30 min but had my stuff to me in 15!) and friendly staff! My family have been eating and enjoying this restaurant for 3+ years now. Tonight has changed this forever. I have never been treated so disrespectful in all my 51 years. Here is what happened: 1) 10mins on hold to place my to go order 2) Was told it'll be ready in 15mins and I waited 30mins. (I wasn't even upset) 3) I drove home and the Panang Sauce had leaked out all over the rest of the order 4) The Medium spice (which we've had before) was too spicy to even eat. So, I drive back to the restaurant to ask if they can re-make the dish. 5) the host said: THE CHEF SAID THAT WAS MEDIUM AND HE WILL NOT REMAKE IT AND NO REFUND! This was the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced and I work in hospitality. I was so disappointed because we are extremely loyal to our restaurants. We finally tried the food here. I've been wanting to go to the Brandon location for some time because I was hoping it was the same chef that use to be at Arroy Thai in Wesley Chapel. The menu is the same as there and the Thai Chili Pepper in Brandon. This is a nice restaurant set up with very good social distancing and masking here. I wish they also utilized their outside space and had tables out there as well. I ordered the pumpkin curry and my husband had the pad Thai. We were both pretty happy with our meals, but I didn't remember the pumpkin curry so watery as this was. I like it thicker. Our server was great and helpful. The background music strangely enough I need to comment, but it was pretty sleepy. I feel like going out to eat is like an experience all around. I think I'd feel bad about the people working there hearing that music all day. I'd fall asleep even standing up. I think it should be a little bit more upbeat rather than sleepy and depressing, but that's just me. read more

This was not our first choice but the other place did not open till way too late. However this did not disappoint AT ALL. We went about an hour before closing. The only people coming in were pick up orders, door dash and Uber eats. Anyway we sat down as instructed by our fantabulos waiter. Think her name was Mary maybe Marie Hubby and I realized she looked like the lady on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. We showed her pics and she was ecstatic. Ok not only was she so lively and excited she was working those orders coming in and just genuinely pleasant. Ok the real meat and potatoes or should I say savory thai cuisine. I would said their food is more to sweet side. This is their second stores in Tampa. Their original store is near Riverview. I have visited that store in Riverview. I think this store is better. There was no one eat in during the lunch time. But when we are leaving there is a couple walk in. My wife have the spicy drunken noodle with tone down heat. She have the chicken drunken noodle. The noodle is still wet. Not dry enough. But they do have a lot of quantity. Enough chicken meat. I have the garlic pepper shrimp. This dish is $15 with 8 big shrimps. Shrimp size is great. They do come with Thai hot like I ask. Burning spicy. I would said their technique is in good categories not in great categories. I still like it. It is great to go with rice. Service is great. First, being able to get out and done in is great, but it doesn't color my opinion of Thai Chili Pepper. My wife told me they were here and I had no idea! Turns out they opened in March around the time we all got put in lockdown. Luckily they are still open! When you walk in, its a modern international of a Thai restaurant...not the usual old school decor. The hostess immediately sat us while doing double duty to give pickup customers their orders. Off the bat, the menu is simple and full of the usual and a few other specialty items. Being our adventurous selves, we ordered chicken rice soup, fried spring rolls, chicken pad thai, and beef pad see ew. Since we order this at pretty much every Thai restaurant, we had a good sense of whether we liked the food or not. One note, they actually use Thai spice so if you ask for thai hot, the hospital is 5 minutes away. We got medium spice and that was enough heat to make me sweat. The soup was aromatic with a nice touch of garlic and scallions. The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful. The chicken pad thai uses a tamarind sauce, which was interesting. Since the ladies don't like scallions, peanuts, and bean sprouts it was hard to get a good take on the taste...definitely not anything the restaurant had to do with. The beef pad see ew was exvellent...nice blend of sweet, savory, and spice! This place is right down the road for me so now I know where I can get a quick Thai fix! I love this place! Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. Both their locations are great. Spicy drunken noodles, panang curry and red curry are my favorites! They can make the curries vegan and noodles without fish sauce which is a huge thing for most vegetarians! I ordered a Thai tea ($4.95), fresh roll appetizer ($10.95), and Pad Thai with chicken and beef ($18.45) and house fried rice ($14.95). Service was prompt and presentation was nice. Temperature of everything was excellent. The flavor was basic. It was typical American-style Thai dishes. Nothing really stood out in taste. My lunch bill rang up to a whopping $50. I have had the pleasure of ordering twice. While both times, I ordered the same thing, Pad See Ew with chicken, it was excellent both times. The perfect level of spice, balanced flavor, fresh ingredients. I can't wait to try more, though it will be hard not to keep ordering my favorite dish! I haven't had a dine in experience yet, but the to-go experience was great. Friendly, fast and all needs were met with my items and what was needed (napkins, utensils, etc). We've learned so much about Thai food, Bangkok and American Thai restaurants. Very sad, I love the food but service? There is none. Ordered some takeout on Mothers Day for a laid back meal. Didn't go according to plan. Arrived when the order was said to be ready to a complete state of panic, rudeness and incompetence by staff. After watching staff mock and berate other customers for about 1/2 hour while waiting for our food my order was tossed out on the " to go" table with little care who picked it up. I kinda had to fight through the others waiting to grab it before someone opened the bags and sifted through them. Everything looked to be there but got home and sure enough one of the appetizers was missing. Not the end of the world but hey if you're going to make me wait an extra 30 mins atleast get the order correct. Tried to call them for 2 days straight to have it removed from my bill. They don't answer their phone and let everything go to voice mail. Left messages but no one has bothered to return them yet. What a shame I really enjoyed their food. read more

More of a 3.5 stars. The food is fresh and nicely presented so I'm bumping up to 4 stars. We dined in, there were two other tables in the establishment. there was an odd smell upon entering. I've worked in the restaurant business and completely understand being in a strip mall It could have been drainage issues from all of the establishments being connected. The place was clean really don't think it was any fault to the restaurant. The menu was pretty expensive and offers drunken noodles, fried rice dishes, Tom yum and tom kha, all the basics with a little twist. Prices are reasonable and our server was super sweet. You could tell there was only one chef in the back preparing all of the meals. You're not going to get fast service but that's okay as long as the food comes out hot and fresh. Unfortunately there were bits of my dish that were cold. It makes me think my dish was prepared before my daughters and sat in the window. Even still, my vegetables were fresh and the chicken was also tender. I'd revisit again, especially since there arent many good Thai restaurants in the area. read more

LOST CUSTOMER... service was not as expected for a repeat customer. I hate to leave negative reviews. Today I picked up an order. It was raining so I was trying to get in and out. I did not check the level of soup in the container until we got home. As you can see from the pictures it is not filled. I called the store, spoke to the manager, JuJu, and she told me to come back up or put it in the fridge & bring it up another time. They do not have the ability to receive a text or email with the photos. She would not give a credit or partial refund unless I brought it back up. The food here is incredible! Very flavorful with a great balance of heat and flavor. The spicy fried rice was my favorite. Best fried rice I've ever had! Incredibly tasty. And the bangkok wings are also great. Very crispy! The service was fast and attentive, think the waitress work at the time was named Maltilda who was fantastic and super nice! And the place isn't super big and has nice decor and pleasant music to set the relaxing mood. Definitely helped to enjoy my experience here. 10/10 highly recommend! read more
