Typically do take out. Food is fresh, and we have always enjoyed whatever we get. Great sushi and green curry chicken is always good.

My dad was visiting from out of town, and since he loves trying new restaurants, we took him to Thai Samurai. Our first visit was great -- we spent around $120, and he said the sushi was some of the best he's had in a long time. He liked it so much that a couple nights later, before he left town, he wanted it again. We even waited about 45 minutes in the parking lot for them to open (they open at 4:30 on certain weekdays) because he was craving the Spicy Conch roll that badly. For our second order, we got two Spicy Conch hand rolls, a spicy tuna roll, and a Lollipop roll. We live about 20 minutes away, and because our first experience was perfect, we didn't think to check the bag before driving home. When we got home, all of the hand rolls were spicy tuna -- none were the Spicy Conch rolls my dad specifically wanted. The receipts on the bag clearly showed the correct items, so I'm not sure how it left the kitchen wrong. Since my dad was leaving town and this was the one thing he really wanted, I called the restaurant. They offered to replace the two Spicy Conch hand rolls, which I appreciated. I originally said I'd pick them up another time, but I decided to make the 20‑minute drive back so he could enjoy them before he left. When I called to place the replacement order, I also added a Deep Sea roll -- his favorite from our first visit. What disappointed me was that when I arrived, they charged me for the Deep Sea roll. I'm not someone who expects free food, but considering the mistake, the clearly printed receipts, and the fact that I had to make a 40‑minute round trip twice, covering a $14 roll would've been a simple, classy gesture. Especially since they usually read totals over the phone, and this time they didn't -- which made me think they were taking care of it. I did hear the sushi chef say "tell them I'm sorry," which I genuinely appreciated. The food itself is very good, and that's why we went back. But based on this experience, if you're ordering takeout, definitely check your bag before leaving. The quality is there, but the way the mistake was handled didn't match the level of the food. read more

Cute little restaurant! Went here for the first time with a friend who recommended it. We shared some curry puffs, and they were very good! I ordered the Amazing Land and it was delicious! I can't remember the name of what my friend ordered but you can check out the picture. It was the second time she's ordered it and really enjoyed it. Ordered Siam Pad Thai takeout. As soon as we opened the container the smell of what I thought at first was an over seasoning with fish sauce, turned out it was bad shrimp. Inedible shrimp. Smelly shrimp. The sweet and sour chicken was edible, but the veggies and chicken were overcooked and the sauce was thin, like water with some flavoring. We were out on this side of the world and came across this spot. We ordered take out and were quite pleased with our selections. My favorite had to be the massaman curry , nice hint of coconut gave it that sweetness I love so much but it was tasty in and of itself. My go to is chicken pad Thai and it did not disappoint, we ordered it medium and I feel like I could've gone the next level of spice. Lunch was delicious. I had to send the fresh spring rolls back because they fell apart. I got the fried spring rolls instead. The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. The Tom Kha soup was filled with lots of chopped veggies. I've never been to a restaurant with a nice big tea pot. I was able to actually get a take-out cup for what was left. I will be back. This is a great little place for lunch or dinner. I've been dining here regularly for several years, and I strongly recommend giving them a try. I really enjoy the curries they offer, but my friends report that their sushi is also quite good. They have an above average menu size, so finding something you like should be easy. I like dining in when possible, as it has a quiet atmosphere that's great for conversation. Overall, this is a great find! read more

Nice place with nice atmosphere. We both ordered Yom Yum soup, mine mild & his hot. Was a bit of a surprise when they somehow switched them & I took a big spoonful of the hot! Was also somewhat surprised that the only vegetable in the soup was onion. Usually green pepper & mushrooms are a part of it but not here. They also served us complimentary mini spring rolls which were good. After I was finished sweating from the heat of the soup, we enjoyed some shrimp Pad Thai which was very good. A buddy and I were in last night; we walked in about 40 minutes prior to close and were told that the sushi station was shutting down - not a huge deal since (for the most part) we were there for the Thai food. The Crab Rangoon & Gyoza starters were very good and came out VERY fast. In fact, everything was delivered fairly rapid-pace, probably because they wanted to close right at 10:00. I had the Chicken Panang (medium spicy) and my friend had the Drunken Noodles with chicken. He originally had no idea what he wanted but he described a dish to the server and she dutifully recommended the drunken noodles and it totally hit the spot for him. At about 9:55 we realized that we were the last two in the joint and that the staff was basically sweeping and mopping around us; so we chugged down our second order of beverages in an effort to scoot out with as little clean-up interference as possible. Only setback was that last part. I get that staff wants to go home ASAP but on a Friday night, at least let your diners enjoy the last of their meals without feeling the mad pressure. Other than that, good service and well-priced, yummy Thai food - no serious complaints! Thai Samurai would definitely be my go-to takeout spot if I lived locally! read more

I came in here for a late lunch with some family, and the least I can say is that it did not disappoint. We were sat down immediately upon arrival and when I glanced at the prices, they were a steal! $15 for a ten piece roll! I ordered the JB roll and my family ordered the Vampire and Yellow Tail roll. This is one of our go to restaurants. We order from here at least once a week. Everything we have ordered here has been very good. My favorite dishes are the pad woonsen and chicken with broccoli. Everything if full of flavor and cooked very well. It is normally very quiet inside and it is a nice place to have an intimate lunch or dinner. We have been back 3 times in the last month and it has been consistently great every time. One of the few places that has Genshu saki, sushi is always good, and we usually get paid Thai and chicken Amazing. Portions are generous and seems like we always have a to go container. We ordered a ton of food to go. The sushi, again, to go... was so-so. My 20 y.o. and I quote said "whole food makes better sushi". Crab Rangoon: strange. Theu had curry powder but it didn't taste very good. Both TOM soups were good (Tom Kha, Tom Yum). The seaweed soup was a joke and should be removed from the menu. They actually put big pieces of Nori in a very basic broth that looked like Miso. It was extremely overpriced and toasted nori sheets of seaweed do not belong. Especially in big pieces. Very weird and not at all like something that a higher establishment should be serving!!! Spring rolls were good. Egg rolls... idk. They say vegetarian on the online menu (the one from google that the restaurantdoes, not the websitefor the restaurantwhich doesn't show what is vegetarian (They should fix that!), so is that soy protein inside them? It was very sus, looked just like pork. Just intimidated me since we don't eat pork. Our guest thought it looked like pork and tasted like it. Out of 6 of us, she was the only one who eats pork. We didn't feel confident eating them and so we have them all to her. Curry puffs were ok. Spring rolls were very good, but very uneven, lacked balance. Terriyaki Chicken was very good, the stronger flavor, my 8 y.o. wasn't a huge fan, but it was excellent. Pad Thai with Chicken was very good, we also got another pad dish, either egg noodle or flat, I didn't eat that, but it was well liked. We would order here again, but the menu on the website should show what is vegetarian and also, it should be easier to understand how to order lunch items for dinner. The menu just needs work. It didn't taste fantastic, but it was to go and the day after Hurricane Milton so good job! I'll be dining in next time. read more

The food here is wonderful! We were visiting Florida for a week. Got take-out one evening, then ate at the restaurant twice more! Yes, it's that good! Loves the Penang Curry, the egg noodles, the fried rice. The tofu was perfect, the chicken excellent. We tried many different dishes and didn't find one we didn't enjoy. We have been coming here for over 10 years. The food has been consistently good except for the last year. On a few occasions, our food came to the table and it was cold. On many occasions the tea that was served room temperature. Another big complaint of mine in the last few years is that the restaurant needs a good deep cleaning and a facelift. The tables are old and beat up as well as the seating. It's really a shame that it's been a little bit of a disappointment in the past year, because we truly enjoyed the food in the past. read more

I went for a quiet lunch on a Thursday afternoon to get out of my house while it was getting some work done. The parking lot, as usual, was packed even though there was only one other occupied table. I ordered the Octopop appetizer (grilled baby octopus) and the tekkyu roll (tuna and cucumber) with a warm small sake. The food was prompt, the flavors excellent, seating comfortable, and prices reasonable. I've always ordered to-go from here because the parking is so annoying but I'm glad I stepped in this time because it's quite nice. I've also always ordered Japanese food though the Thai selection is extensive. It's a solid choice for all your sushi favorites and the prices are a bit better than similar places in the area. Overall, I recommend! The only bad thing is the parking - but food and service make it worth the trip. read more

One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. To start, I ordered a side salad which my server forgot to bring. I ordered 3 sushi rolls ( tuna roll, veggie roll & sweet potato roll) the sweet potato roll was 80% rice , 10% sweet potato and 10% hair. tuna roll was AWFUL I couldn't even eat it but was so over it that I genuinely did not have the energy to try to dispute it.
