I am LIVID!! After working all morning taking care of patients, then waiting in the drive-thru line for about 20 minutes, I couldn't place my order for my kids, who I told to wait for me to come home with lunch. Apparently, if there are more than two orders (I had three, including a kid's meal), I had to pull over, call the restaurant and WAIT for curbside service. No apologies, no exception. When I am starving, that Caniac combo has always hit the spot. 6 tenders and amazing sauce. I love it! At some point along the way, however, the tenders were cut in half (I believe literally cut in half). So we are still charged the same amount for the 6 piece meal and yet we are getting a 3 piece instead. Rather than always being left filled to the brim, I'm now always left unsatisfied. (Loss of 2 stars) When I order 6 tenders, I expect to get 6 tenders worth of sauce, not 3, while being expected to pay for sauce for the other 3. I ordered 6, not 3. 2 micro-cups of sauce isn't just not enough, it's insulting. (Loss of 1 star, but probably should be a loss of 2, but the chicken and sauce are are worth two full stars. Have to give them that. As much as I hate it, I can't continue to justify $12 for a 3 piece combo plus enough sauce called a 6 piece Caniac plus 2 extra sauces. I just want to bathe in their caniac sauce. It's like legal crack. I know it sounds like I have a problem, but if you'd ever eaten here, you'd understand. Their chicken isn't bad either ;) . It's super moist, and I really like the batter. They make combos that you will actually eat all of. They serve it with fries, coleslaw, and Texas toast. If I'm not in the mood for the coleslaw, I just sub it for extra toast. Be sure to try out the lemonade, too. But I went by here for an early lunch (10:30ish am) yesterday Friday, Feb 26 and got the Caniac box combo for my husband extra canes sauce and two extra toast with a bottled water and I got the regular box combo extra honey mustard with one extra toast and a sweet tea for myself. I didn't catch the lady who was speaking over the loud speaker but she was super friendly, the service was also quick and the food was hot. I know there are tons of places that just do poultry, but chicken tenders? I mean... Come on. Don't you need more variety to have a thriving business? Apparently, that's not the case for Raising Canes. I honestly had low expectations going in there and I was so surprised! There was a pretty impressive line, but I was at the front in under a minute and got my Caniac Combo a few seconds later. (I dunno how you can serve so many customers in such a short amount of time and keep a constant smile on your face, but the girl working the cash register did it. Hats off to you.) I was starving and the drive back to the hotel was almost too long. Sat down on my bed, took a sip of my lemonade, opened the box, and dove in. The chicken was mmmmm good~ Juicy, tender, crispy on the outside, didn't taste like it had been sitting in grease for days, fragrant. Just wonderful. I didn't care for the sauce, but that's alright because the chicken didn't even need it. If I can eat a buttload of fried chicken and not feel like I'm choking on sand, you're okay in my book. I've been eating here a-lot since Covid. The drive thru is long but moves at a steady pace. The one real disappointment is the french fries. Every time I get them out that drive threw window they are cold and stale. It's like they cooked them yesterday. The chicken tenders are smoking hot fresh and the fries are cold. I mean. Every chain does something well - that's how they grow to be a chain. So, what is it at Cane's? Maybe it the Texas Toast that comes with each combo? Nope - too saturated with something unsaturated. The crinkle cut fries? Nope - tasteless. I don't use ketchup unless there is no flavor. The cole slaw? Nope - average. The music? Not unless you really needed a fix of The Bay City Rollers and ABBA. Service? Friendly enough, but yelling customer names and having them guess if that was their order because it's not clear isn't the best system. The sauce? Nasty looking, kind of like the stuff you mixed up as a kid when you were done and playing with your food. Tasted okay, but many folks wouldn't get past the appearance. Food quantity? The fingers aren't much bigger than mine, so 4 in a combo for $7 isn't a deal. Must be the chicken, right? Better be since chicken fingers is all they do. OK, so fast food chicken places hold a special place in my heart. That said, the food here is not what is garnering 4 stars today. It is good, not as good as some others, but better than most. I normally cap fast food at 3 stars as well, just because, well, it is fast food, but every time I have been here, the staff has been nice, the place has been clean, and the food has been consistent. Usually, at a fast food place, one of those three areas is lacking. My biggest complaint is that they use styrofoam (or polystyrene, etc) containers. These trap the steam coming off of the food and lead to soggy fries and chicken that isn't as crisp as it should be if you have to travel more than a few minutes from the place before eating it. read more

Everything tastes great, the quality of food is very good and above all, the service is almost always with a smile! Worst Cane's ever. Took 30 minutes in the drive through to get the wrong order and still be charged for it. I got the kids meal with a toast and coleslaw added, and my boyfriend got the three finger combo. We had to say what we wanted at least three times before the person could remember. He understood us, he just couldn't remember what we said. Once we pulled up to the window an employee leaned out the window without acknowledging us and looked behind our car then said something to another employee inside and closed the window, still without acknowledging us there. Five minutes later we received our food. In a hurry because this has already taken 25 more minutes than expected, we made the mistake of driving away without checking the order. The kids meal came with more fries than the three finger combo, and they didn't give me my toast. JUST DRIVE 10 MORE MINUTES TO GO TO THE ONE ON COUNTY LINE. MUCH BETTER SERVICE THERE.
