New to us, the Mid-South Medical Imaging crew decided to try Crooked Letter Kitchen today. Boy have we been missing out! The ribeye tacos were fantastic, with large chunks of juicy, tender ribeye steak, a crunchy cheese liner in the soft tortilla, and a tangy slaw topping. I cant wait to try the blackened shrimp tacos... The staff were friendly and attentive, and the wait was very minimal. Attractive decor in an easily accessible location.. what more could you ask for?

Very good food and service. I had 3 different tacos - the birra came with a cup of sauce - all good - ordered large fries - plenty for 2 Fries came with a white sauce that was also good. Philly cheese according to my other half was awesome - and she ate it all! Will come back

So we ran it back to Crooked Letter Kitchen in Flowood. This time we dined in. The service was beyond superb! Every staff member left a lasting impression on my husband and myself. They visited with us and made sure we had EVERYTHING that we needed. -Pickled Fried Curds (remade for us) - Birria Taco -Ribeye Taco -Boudin Eggrolls -Cotton Candy Lemonade Drink -Bread Pudding Yall!!!! PLEASE go try their Ribeye Taco!!!! It was so flavorful!!! My favorite component was the apple slaw that is garnished on top. It gave such a great flavor to this taco. Now I love me some Birria anything but I just didn't care for theirs. It tasted like it was lacking seasoning on it. Now the look of it was great. Exactly how I would want mine to look. It just didn't have the taste for me. The Boudin Eggrolls are simply amazing! I got my bread pudding to go. The staff swears by it, saying it is the best (and they don't even care for bread pudding at all.) The vibe in the restaurant was magical. Such a great camaraderie. We are looking forward to coming back.

Crooked Letter Kitchen in Flowood is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of Southern charm. The food is incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared--comfort food elevated the right way. You can tell there's real care put into both the menu and the presentation. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home, which only adds to the experience. If you're in the Flowood area and want a spot that delivers great food and great vibes, Crooked Letter Kitchen is absolutely worth a visit.

Ribeye taco and bread pudding was fantastic. Service was great. Staff very friendly Consommé for Birria taco was spicy to me but my spice level low. Highly recommend this place.

Holy Crooked Letter!!!!! If you are not running to Crooked Letter Kitchen right now, you are missing out!!! The moment you walk in, you are greeted by their amazing staff. Everyone is super friendly and extremely helpful. We started with the pickle cheese curds, which were the best fried cheese curds we have ever had. I got the ribeye taco and the blackened shrimp taco and they were to die for. The slaw on it should be sold by the gallon. My husband got the nacho smash burger and he said it was great! I ordered a small side of fries but it was huge and I couldn't finish them. We ended the meal with the best bread pudding I have ever put in my mouth. The toasted pecans absolutely made it! You guys have got to get to crooked letter! You will not be disappointed!

I saw a few reviews and decided to give them a try, they're located next to a gas station but I didn't let that deter me. There were a few empty tables so we placed our order and took a seat but before the food made it out I was splashed with water from a leaky ceiling. I got the ribeye sandwich and some bread pudding. I probably won't travel so far back but that bread pudding was good.

The service was great and the lady that took my order was incredibly nice. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and had a unique design concept. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and it was really good. The only thing I didn't like was they put their signature mark on top of the bun and whenever you bite that spot it puts a burnt taste in your mouth.

Juarez Tacos doesn't look like much from the outside, (it's in an old Chinese restaurant…read morestorefront) but once you step in, the food tells you everything you need to know. The smell of grilled meat and warm tortillas hits before you even sit down, and it sets the stage perfectly. I started with tacos, of course. The tortillas were the kind you can tell are made fresh: soft, warm, and sturdy enough to hold everything together without falling apart. I went for al pastor and birria, and both came out packed with flavor. The pastor had that perfect balance of char and spice, while the birria was rich and comforting, dripping just enough to make you lean in over the plate. The real surprise was how much attention went into the small details. The salsas had actual heat, not just color, and they didn't drown out the flavor of the meat. The pineapple agua fresca I ordered on the side was bright and refreshing, a perfect balance to the heaviness of the tacos. Service felt easy and genuine. Nobody was rushing me, nobody was going through the motions, it just had that friendly, neighborhood vibe where you feel like they're glad you stopped in. By the time I finished, I realized Juarez isn't trying to be flashy or reinvent the wheel. They're just serving honest, flavorful food that feels like it belongs exactly where it is. It's the kind of place you think about the next day, when you're already planning what you'll order on your next visit.

I wanted to try something new, so the waitress recommended the beef tongue, cheek, and head tacos. They were okay, but a bit lacking in the flavor department for my taste. Unfortunately, no beer was served at this time due to a licensing issue, I was told. I hope they got that fixed . Maybe I'll stop by to grab a beer and some other tacos one day.
