Probably my favorite fast food spot. The box combo is incredible tenders, fries, Cole slaw and drink. Raising Cane's is something that friends from overseas always ask for so it's nice they have options for larger parties. The service at this location is top notch. And the inside of the store has more seating, better quality seating, and is cleaner, than say the Naperville location. read more

Stopped by last night to grab food from the drive thru, the girl on the other end of the speaker was extremely rude. It was actually shocking to hear , not only was she speaking in a condescending tone, she kept cutting me off while trying to order. On top of that she missed a few things for our order. So I haven't been here for a long time because pop was always overfilled and dripping when given to me, l changed to bottled water. So I went through the drive thru tonight, ordered 2 caniac meals. Asked for the Coleslaws in a separate container (long drive home, coleslaw gets warm and cools down the fries). Also asked for water and didn't get bottled as I have before. Anyway one meal was missing the FAMOUS TOAST and the other meal had the coleslaw in the box. Only one coleslaw in a separate container. Has ownership changed at this location? Kept hearing great things about this place so once I was in town I had to try it. My nephew grabbed some tenders, fries and garlic bread. I thought the food was pretty good but nothing to write home about. What I found tasty was the sauce. Although I honestly think it's just ketchup, mayo and black pepper but the sauce is what makes all the other food items good. I'm glad I tried it but I doubt I'll have it again. Rather disappointed.... I liked the Raising Canes in NIles, IL, they always traded out the Canes sauce for Honey mustard. The one in Batavia charges you for it. I asked the girl, she said I can have the Canes sauce. She was going to call her manager. Since I wanted the Honey mustard, I told her forget it. We needed to be out of the house Sunday evening so we decided to try out Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers Restaurant in Batavia, Illinois. This restaurant chain serves only one type of chicken product.....breaded chicken fingers. As long as you don't mind breaded chicken fingers with assorted other sides you are fine. It sort of reminds me of the SNL skit about cheeseburgers and the Billy Goat Tavern in Chicago. You can tell that the roots of the restaurant come from the south with the sweet tea and all. The buttered bread was very good as well as the crinkle fries. And it was warm. They had some higher rise tables for people like me. The decorations were whimsical. The disco balls in the ceiling were an awesome touch. The Black velvet Elvis as King with a painted crown over the portrait was a nice touch. You will find Chicago memorabilia as well as Raising Cane knick knacks and emblems throughout the store. I don't know if it was intentional or not but this restaurant is right across the street from another chicken restaurant--Chick fillet. Chicken fingers are my wife's favorite way to eat chicken so we will return. read more

I like this location! The workers have always had the utmost care, even during quarantine. The drive thru takes some time, but when you look at your chicken, you can see why. The chicken definitely comes out freshly cooked, lots of grease...yum. Sometimes the fries could be a bit more fresh, but everything else is hot and ready...Cooked to order. Raising Cane's is a preference thing. We like the batter they use. I have never had the fatty tenderloin strip of the chicken that you get sometimes with chicken tender. Perfect! The sauce is excellent, for $.37, get an extra, or two. The slaw is good, the Texas toast is yummy. It's really a good meal. I would encourage everyone to join the Cainiac's Club. You get great deals. Raising Cain's is a little far for us, it would be great to eat on the spot. However, if you have a long drive home, use your air fryer to get the crispness back to the chicken and fros. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

Look..I love chicken. RC's chicken isn't bad either, but here's where I stand. This place has been a madhouse since it opened earlier this year. The crowds drew our attention so we added it to our the list to try. That opportunity came up last week. The main thing that shocks you upon entering is that they really only have one thing to eat: chicken strips and french fries. They might have had one other side too, not sure. But they offer this combination in four different options. That's it. No..there isn't anything else here. The really odd thing...NO BBQ sauce. They have their own sauce which is this orangish combination of thousand island and ranch. It's not bad, but bbq sauce it is not. People get so ganged up about these chicken places...there's another useless one across the street. Both herd the masses of people that don't tend to try better dining establishments. Keep your chicken..I'll be at one of a hundred other better places to eat within a 2-mile radius. read more

I used to live my the Westmont location and it was phenomenal, but despite my overall LOVE (and once near addiction) to Canes Chicken, I am not sure how much longer I'll give this place a shot. The chicken is good most days but OMG the fries are awful. It would be fine if there were other options, but pretty much every meal comes with their awful, usually cold fries. If you ask to sub coleslaw, you still get charged for the full meal PLUS a side of cole slaw. It just seems like this location doesn't particularly care as much as other locations...which is sad, because Canes really can be great! read more

Came here because I had a coupon for a free box meal. Went through the drive thru and it went super quick. Chicken tenders could have used more breading but they were juice. Toast was upset pillowy. Cole slaw was standard. Fries were crispy and tasted yummy dipped in the canes sauce. The sweet tea was a little too sweet. read more

I am shocked at the love and cult following that this place gets. 1. They have almost nothing gluten free. I knew this before we went. My husband really wanted to try it though so I knew I would land with the coleslaw. That was the only thing I had. 2. He rated the chicken as 'okay' and nothing special. I know it's new to town but tonight's experience wasn't the greatest. After almost 10 minutes waiting (only 5 cars ahead of me in a single lane operation) to order in the drive thru, the simplified process was nice to see until I asked for my drink to be half unsweetened tea half lemonade - that's not possible or understood (although the staff was very friendly). Anyhow, ordered a Caniac Combo ($12.19 seems a bit steep for any type of meal option in a fast-food setting) and Sandwich Combo (7.39). Got home and opened up the Caniac Combo - No Texas Toast. The fingers don't transport the 8 minutes home too well as the bottom of 4/6 (eerily similar to Popeyes breading) fingers were soggy. The Sandwich was good and just the right amount of sloppy. Crinkle cut fries...Not my personal favorite but they were average. Would I choose this place over CFA strips or Popeyes Sandwich? Nope. Sauce made fresh each day was just ok. read more

MOST TASTELESS CHICKEN FINGERS EVER. Over breaded and the breading itself had no flavor....not even salt, just nothing. I MEAN NOTHING. Bite after bite waiting for SOMETHING...BUT NOPE...NOTHING. The seating was not comfortable, nothing making it feel warm or welcoming. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE. BUT I have had tastier and better chicken tenders at the local bingo hall. THE ONLY REDEEMING FACTOR ABOUT TODAY'S MEAL...the chicken was juicy and tender...TASTELESS...TOTALLY TASTELESS, but juicy. Would not go there again. I would take Canes chicken over any other fast food/sit down place in the area. Not only did Batavia need something like this, but Canes was a great addition. Food wise, I think it's great. I wouldn't rank the fries number 1, or the chicken number 1, etc but overall this would get a much better overall grade for their food than any others. The Texas toast is an awesome, unexpected delight to your meal. Soft crisp to the Texas toast. The canes sauce is unique and oh sooo good. The crappy part is the awkward parking lot and entrance/exit. This property is very large so I'm not sure why they didn't get a better layout unless they were land locked due to selling off a portion of the property.
